Dark Eldar

474 Precision Throwing Lv1

"You mean those metal deliveries? That's nothing. I used a one-click group email. Some were leftovers from my warehouse, and some were items I bought from the auction house. I stockpiled a lot of metal before the T3500 questline was released. Back then, I was worried the Dark Eldar might start a war with our other world and steal our resources. Who knew they were prepared? As soon as the Classic server opened, they were the first to teleport in. As for where their starting area is currently... I don't know yet. Haha~ The NPC ladies won't tell us either," Loki explained. After all, he arrived earlier than Benjamin.

"Brother Loki, I see you've already chosen the warrior class, so why are you learning ranged attacks?" Benjamin asked, looking at Loki's equipment.

"Hey, I came here purely out of curiosity, just for fun. Hehe~~" Loki said self-deprecatingly.

"Yeah, I just checked the sign-in log, but since it's a classic server, there are so many heroes with the same name. I even saw someone named Benjamin in the starting village! Their names generally have pretty long suffixes, and they even share the same name as me. You know, our Benjamin family was quite famous in that other world!" Benjamin said proudly. His family was indeed a VIP5+ noble family in that other world, so there were relatively few people with the same name. ("Benjamin VI," just the suffix "VI" alone has a pretty high rate of duplicates.)

In the Classic version of the game, there are many people named Loki, but Loki is lucky. Perhaps because he logged in early, his name doesn't have any suffixes.

"Benjamin, do you want to learn to be an assassin or a marksman?" Loki asked.

"Senior Loki, so you knew about this. I switched to a wandering mage, but I felt the mage class was just too complex. The high-level spellbooks alone, and the elemental skill tree—each element's training period was too long. And the advanced skills and ultimate abilities of mages in the later stages were hard to master if I didn't fully understand them. I really envied you back then! My family's talent is high agility, after all. This time, I'm not going to take the wrong path. I'm going to continue learning my family's specialty—a ranged class! I'm planning to train a hunter, a gunslinger, or even the currently popular sniper. I heard there are even more outstanding high-output classes after the second job advancement!" Benjamin said excitedly, his eyes gazing out the classroom window, as if he could see his colorful future...

"Benjamin, I guess you wanted to try it out here first?" Loki's plate armor was very heavy, and his body would feel stiff if he sat for a long time. He shrugged and twisted his neck as he asked.

"Yes, Loki. I'm new here and not very familiar with the various skills in Classic WoW. I heard that you can learn ranged skills for free in Archer Village, so I'd like to practice them in advance," Benjamin said.

"How much of your wish money did you contribute?" Loki pressed.

"I paid 300 gold coins for the wish fee. Brother Loki, I know you're learning the most expensive course, 100,000 gold coins. How come you have so much money? I only managed to save up a few thousand gold coins with great difficulty. My course only lasts for two days, and I'll officially start learning tomorrow and the day after." Benjamin said enviously. He didn't know why his senior brother Loki was so generous. He was too embarrassed to ask, after all, they had received a proper education in another world and knew the meaning of the word "privacy".

Loki desperately wanted to sponsor Benjamin VI, but he knew that such an act would likely be extremely hurtful to Benjamin's pride. Having lived in another world for so long, he knew what he should and shouldn't do.

Loki stared at the blackboard in the classroom, the screen displaying the widely popular online novel *Eldar*, a masterpiece by Loki. Lost in thought, he considered, "If it's Elaine, then I absolutely must sponsor her tuition with 10, because with my Demacian brother's instructions, there's no problem. Or... if Edward III comes here and doesn't bring enough money, I'll have to sponsor him unconditionally too. But this handsome young man, Benjamin, is different. He's several years my junior. If I risk mentioning sponsorship, it might anger Benjamin..."

"Brother Loki, how did your class go this morning? I can't start formal classes until tomorrow. Could you show me a couple of moves first? Let me see what you've got to do?" Benjamin asked curiously.

"Great! Let's go! Let's practice right now!" Loki said happily. He was naturally pleased to see Benjamin change the subject.

"Whoosh!" At the entrance of the shrine, Loki picked up a pebble and threw it. (Precision Throw Lv1)

The target glass bottle was about 15 yards away, and Loki knocked it down steadily, but unfortunately, the bottle didn't shatter. Loki deliberately only used 1% of his power; the hit was decent, but the bottle didn't break.

"Loki, you're supposed to be a powerhouse, so why are you so soft?" Benjamin scratched his head and asked, puzzled.

"I'm afraid my accuracy won't be good enough, so I don't dare to exert too much force. If I do, I always miss the mark," Loki patiently explained. His explanation was reasonable; he wanted to demonstrate the essence of the course through skill demonstrations as much as possible.

"Brother Loki, let me show you mine. Even though I don't have the [Precision Throw] skill in my skill bar yet."

"Crack!" The target bottle was hit, exploding into pieces! (+22 Critical Damage!)

"Amazing! You're as good as ever!" Loki exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up. He felt that Benjamin might even be better than the nameless elf teacher from Archer Village.

"Back in the other world, we practiced these basic things so much that our fingers were raw and calloused!" Benjamin touched the old wounds on his hands.

"Brother Loki, let me test my archery skills again!" With that, Benjamin raised the hydroxyl bow (blue) on his back and began to aim and fire in less than half a second.

"Whoosh!" With a swift movement, the arrow struck the bullseye! 10 rings!! He didn't use any skills; it was a normal attack, or simply a basic attack or shot.

"Benjamin, your moves were so cool! I think you can graduate now! You don't need to waste your time here!" Loki joked.

"It's alright, Loki. I'll stay with you for two days. I also want to see what the high-level players in the Classic WoW are capable of. I heard he's level 206? He must have arrived earlier than us, right? He's probably a pro!" Benjamin whispered.

"Yes, our mutual teacher, the Nameless Elf Archer, is truly the real deal and deserves respect! He just gave me a lesson this morning, and I feel like I learned a lot of useful information that I had never heard of before in this other world," Loki said earnestly.

"Okay. That's good. I'll bring my notebook (engineering item) to class tomorrow and take good notes of the slides. I can't let those 300G go to waste; that's a month's worth of food money!"

Benjamin was a rather frugal young man in the other world; in Loki's memory, he wasn't the kind of hero who loved to spend money recklessly.
