Gold coins (money) meant nothing to Loki; he paid for a standard room for seven days at the Megar Hotel in Regin Town.

He and Elaine each booked two rooms. Each room cost 30 gold coins per day, totaling 60 gold coins for two rooms, for a total of 420 gold coins for seven days. Loki chose to pay in full upfront. The three-star hotel offered very high-end service, with daily meal vouchers automatically sent to their inventory, and small rewards for completing challenges (free for levels 10 and below). Other customized leisure activities were charged separately. The hotel was well-equipped and officially operated by the Classic WoW server.

Loki glanced at the room card. It was made of laser-etched material (enchanted by Engineering), and the back had small inscriptions such as "GG for spending points," "GG for RP enhancement," "cashback," and "stimulating spending."

"Elena, when you get to the room and see those colorful puzzle games on the desktop, neither of us should open them. I've seen them before, they're incredibly addictive." Loki didn't dare say anything, afraid the hotel staff would laugh at him. He sent a private message to Elena.

Loki thought, "Eleanor is naive and easily fooled." Back in his other world, Loki had seen many of his friends fail miserably at "challenge games," some even losing everything.

The Meggle Hotel is completely different from the guesthouses where other heroes stay. Heroes who are just leveling up and exploring the map often find guesthouses too expensive and mostly stay there, costing about 5 gold coins per day. Guesthouse services are simple, and given the honest and straightforward nature of the people of Leijin City, NPCs usually don't have any hidden tricks or hidden charges.

The heroes who come to Classic WoW have donated a large amount of metal resources in their original worlds (referring to the multiverse) to embark on their journey. Only those like Loki and Elaine, who were relatively successful in their original worlds, were able to accumulate extra wealth and have the good fortune to bring it to Classic WoW.

Currently, in the Classic WoW map, almost everything you see is a group of "solo heroes" who have been stripped bare of their health. They are very active, shouting messages all over the city.

From the shouts, calls, and equipment listings in the trade channel (which can be opened with a left-click to view equipment attributes), it's clear they're eager to trade their various basic items, their desperate need for money palpable.

Some of these heroes even came from unknown, randomly selected level 2 maps. For example, the level 2 map Kevin Garnier was also included in the Classic WoW teleportation list, and a massive "Classic WoW" military portal stands in the center of its main city square. However, Kevin Garnier's metal resources are long depleted, and very few heroes are capable of logging in, because even their king can barely gather the enormous amount of metal required for the quest.

As we all know, free servers share a common characteristic: resources gradually deplete and energy consumption dwindles year by year. It's worth noting that Kevin Garnier and the Otherworld were once as glorious as they were at their inception, boasting abundant resources and resources. Unfortunately, later management limitations (server operation losses) reduced them to a pitiful second-tier server (free model).

The Otherworld (main map; level 1 map; pay-to-play) currently has abundant resources, with various veins of ore and herbs respawning normally. However, the downside of the main map is the large number of online heroes, meaning each hero will face competition for resources. Some couples can only save enough for one hero's entry ticket quest. Some heroes, despite accepting the Classic WoW T3500 questline and managing to donate halfway through, unfortunately ran out of steam. Their finances clearly couldn't keep up, they faced constant pressure from the main city auction houses demanding payment, and their strength couldn't match the Classic WoW's standards. They were forced to give up halfway through. (If the quest items are submitted in installments, the resources donated in the early stages are non-refundable.)

The "Otherworld" is always solemn and sacred. Many determined apprentice heroes have already adopted a phased submission method, and the beautiful priestess Alyssa is one of them (intermediate priest, level 999). She still has a little bit of rare metal resources left to submit, and she's quite anxious. The prices in the auction house have already skyrocketed. Alyssa can only obtain the last resources by camping out at night and ambushing elemental elites. Sometimes, she inevitably has to fight against the unreasonable and aggressive heroes who are camping nearby and trying to steal her resources! Priestess Alyssa works alone, with no one to help her, which puts her at a disadvantage in PvP due to her class. However, she's already used to it. Her confidence is unwavering!! Once she gathers another 500 stacks of pure titanium, she can meet the mage Loki...

Alyssa was unaware that Loki was preparing to level a warrior in Classic WoW. (Classic WoW talent points are randomly assigned; Loki's current talent is Strength, so the warrior class should be his first choice.)

The Meggle Hotel, officially operated by the Regin Town faction in the Classic WoW server, charges six times the price of a regular guesthouse for a standard room, and Loki even tipped them an extra 30 gold coins. He and Elaine only chose a standard room; the deluxe suites were even more expensive, which Loki could easily afford, but he wanted to keep a low profile and didn't book the most expensive suite.

Loki was quite surprised to hear this, wondering why Elaine would say such a thing.

Stepping out of the elevator, Loki looked around to make sure no one was there. He whispered through the team chat, "Eleanor, let me show you my backpack."

He wanted Elaine to know that he had brought with him a huge amount of assets.

"Let me see, wow, so much money. Loki, how did you bring it in? I only brought some, I was worried about the weight." Elaine whispered through the party channel. Actually, what she feared most was having her money wiped out. (The principle is the same as "weakening"; there's never an instruction manual for Classic WoW.)

Elaine is quite cautious. This time, she doesn't want to bring too much wealth. Besides fearing it will be wiped out, there's another reason: she's not particularly interested in money. She believes money is just a tool. No wonder, considering that Elaine's alchemy research resulted in the "Advanced Resurrection Potion Blueprint" (unique in colored version), which sold for a fortune, including in-game currency. Therefore, as long as Elaine continues to learn alchemy in the Classic version, she'll definitely develop even more powerful blueprints.

Elaine and Loki said goodnight to each other in the hotel's 5th-floor corridor and returned to their respective rooms.
