They possessed high levels of spiritual cultivation and generally regarded money as dirt. Elder Sun Yun was especially so, believing that "money is merely an external thing." (A word of caution from the ancient people of the East)

The high-ranking heroes from beyond this world were all well aware of the situation. It turned out that those who hoarded resources were quite discreet.
