Dark Eldar

438 Mysterious Island Dry Red Wine 3544

It's wrong, or at least one-sided, to measure love by moral standards, because who likes whom? Who loves whom? This requires an element of "admiration," not simply a matter of who is more noble or more selfless. —Anonymous uploader 96533532486

The banquet began with a beautiful melody played by a dwarf violinist. The curtains of the Alpha Restaurant were then drawn back.

At 19:30 PM, Loki and the beautiful Elisa sat in a slightly off-center corner. This was the area for couples just starting out in their relationship, nestled beneath a white marble pillar, a rather secluded spot.

The advantage of this location is that couples don't need to speak very loudly to each other to be clearly heard. They can also hear soothing music (background noise).

Elisa ordered the Deep Sea Blue Cocktail Lobster, which cost 300 gold coins—a bit pricey. Loki, on the other hand, opted for a simple filet mignon, medium-rare. Loki was still trying to save money, though that only applied when Elisa insisted on paying the bill.

Loki didn't order any alcohol, but Elisa's set meal included a small cocktail for free.

"Elisa, would you like orange juice or blueberry juice?" Loki suggested.

"No, brother, bring me two bottles of red wine. I have something to tell you," Elisa said.

"Alright then, bartender."

"What are your orders, Grand Master?"

The bartender is a man, a tall, green goblin (level 33).

Alpha Restaurant is a high-end restaurant designed by goblins in this other world. It enjoys a very high reputation, and young people there often like to relax and, more importantly, find love. The current Elders' Council of this other world encourages students at the intermediate level and above to freely pursue romantic relationships. They don't want to cultivate ascetic students; they've realized that this is detrimental to healthy development (slow cycle). The early other world wasn't like this. Back then, management was strict, dogmatic, and monotonous. Romantic relationships were only allowed at the advanced levels, and even then, they were kept secret...

"Brother Loki, I've now learned the mass resurrection spell." While the food was being served, Elisa chatted with Loki.

"It's a pity that there are resurrection potions now, so group resurrection skills aren't as popular as they used to be. When they go to dungeons to explore, they can buy their own potions in case of emergencies," Elisa complained to herself.

"Elisa, the blueprints for the resurrection potion were the ones I sold to the Elders of the Otherworld. It was my fault." Loki suddenly realized his speaking skills weren't very good, at least not as good as Elisa's. He even felt like he was about to "lose his tongue."

"Hmph! I knew it! So it was you who caused this! You're punished by having to drink a glass!" Elisa said angrily.

With the conversation now out in the open, a new work is coming, and the entire internet is getting a sneak peek! Loki's tension gradually subsided.

The handsome goblin bartender brought up four bottles of very expensive red wine.

"This isn't the wine we ordered; we just wanted a regular dry red. But you served us Mysterious Island Dry Red 3544 (purple; has a buff effect; a collectible item in the shop; limited purchase for VIP5; rare)."

"Reverend Loki, please forgive my ignorance. You are a highly respected mage from another world. As I am but a young servant, please forgive my disrespect..."

The goblin bartender apologized repeatedly.

"It's alright, just bring out our regular dry red wine, this is too expensive," Loki said modestly, having seen this kind of situation many times before.

Just then, a middle-aged goblin walked over. He must be the boss.

"Master Loki, please do try it! Your patronage is our honor!" The middle-aged goblin owner was a max-level priest; he was likely a retired cultivator from another world. (Possibly a failed candidate)

Seeing this, Loki stood up and said, "Alright! I'll take it."

After Loki shook hands and took a photo with the middle-aged goblin boss, the boss apologized and left.

"I'm sorry to have interrupted your perfect experience."

"Beautiful lady, please forgive me..."

Elisa smiled politely.

"It's alright, it's nice to meet you," Loki said.

After busying himself for a while, Loki finally sat down, smiled at the beautiful Elisa, and felt that the atmosphere had been ruined.

"I don't care, you have to punish yourself with two drinks!" Elisa said, pouting.

"Yes, I accept the punishment, I accept the punishment!"

As he spoke, Loki drank two cups in a row.

Loki found the fine red wine acceptable, but he didn't want to freeload, owe anyone a favor, or take advantage of anyone. He was prepared to pay a large sum of gold coins. A high-end collectible, approximately 200 million gold coins... (Suspected of overcharging?)

Loki also poured half a glass for Elisa.

"Elisa, you can do it! Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything!" Loki said this, then immediately felt like he was about to lose his tongue again...

"Hmph. I just want you to level up with me and farm equipment together!" Elisa spoke her mind, taking a sip of delicious red wine and saying what she wanted to say today.

"......"

"Well, Alyssa, please give me some time. I think I need to give you a clear answer." Loki drank another large glass of wine, slightly tipsy. I knew in my heart that I couldn't delay any longer; I had to make a choice!
