Dark Eldar
Hidden Quest Series 425 - Part 1
Loki followed Edward III on a series of quests. They were both already at the level cap, but Loki's fame has declined because he is no longer equipped with any artifacts.
Due to the massive initial investment, the new Grand Elder of the Otherworld, Morza, believed Edward III lacked experience and needed more training. Therefore, he did not appoint Edward to a key position. In the sacred Otherworld, everything is fair; without a fair system, the Otherworld would gradually decline, just like the Dark Legion.
The newly registered "Dark Eldar" are currently maintaining a low profile. Even though they've witnessed the decline of the Dark Legion, whose name differs from theirs by only one letter, they haven't taken its place. Perhaps they're not interested in the "Domination Achievement."
To complete the "Series of Missions," Loki must team up with Edward III; they are randomly assigned to a military camp. This appears to be a "Trusteeship Mode" from version 25; this mode is unlocked through the series of missions.
In the military camp, nobody knew anyone, and the race was specifically designated as human. They were all young people, and when they first arrived, there were many of them, and nobody knew anyone else. Everyone wore the same uniform, and there were no props or weapons. The environment was somewhat similar to the real world.
There may be guns and ammunition, but they won't be issued to you when you first arrive.
Loki looked at Edward. He felt that Edward looked like a completely different person in the military uniform. After putting on the uniform himself and looking in the mirror, he felt the same way.
The 25-series hidden quests are considered high-level quests within the main map. They have very high entry requirements. Entry tickets are rare and precious. In this new environment, healers and any support classes are not allowed; pure physical attacks and any magical skills are also prohibited. This series of quests is more like a unique "assessment"? And the examiner is a powerful "Order." Why is this other world so popular? It's because of the constantly innovating, challenging, and developing new gameplay that keeps heroes "entering with enthusiasm."
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, the hidden questline begins. On the nearby parade ground, the energy field of the military vortex portal slowly disappears and completely closes.
"Beep beep—Emergency assembly!" came the whistle and the mission announcement over the loudspeaker.
There was no roll call, and everyone behaved themselves. Loki stood next to Edward during the assembly. The instructor who went up to speak was a woman, which surprised Loki quite a bit.
The female instructor had a good figure and was human, but she wasn't Loki's type. Loki just thought she was a bit older and looked like a talkative and capable woman!
"It's a pity she's not a girl anymore, too worldly," Loki thought. "She must have some special skills to become an instructor!" He was referring to her survival skills, not her DPS, because in the first mission of the series, they hadn't yet engaged in combat; they were just getting familiar with the new environment.
"Hmm," the mature and beautiful female instructor cleared her throat and said, "Please, everyone, since you're here, make the best of it and don't have any mental burdens..."
She spoke concisely and without beating around the bush. What she meant was that everyone shouldn't assume they were superior because of their previous high level, power, or wealth. In the first series of missions, everyone is equal, and everyone should obey orders and focus on training and improving.
Loki glanced at the ranks of the beautiful female instructors on the platform, and the ranks of the other soldiers around them. Edward's rank.
"She's right, everyone's level has been reset to zero, meaning everyone is now level 0, not even level 1 anymore..."
This is rare in the multiverse, and newly created heroes will also be LV1.
Despite his initial surprise, Loki quickly adapted.
"Dismissed!" The beautiful instructor told everyone to go back and slowly familiarize themselves with the new environment and map.
In the morning, Loki and Edward returned to their dormitory together, where their roommates were cleaning.
"Look who's here!" Edward was the first to greet everyone.
"......"
It seems that my roommates arrived earlier than Loki.
Loki was instantly stunned when he saw them!
"I recognize almost everyone, but I can't recall their names. It's like... like old friends I haven't seen in a long time?"
"Loki, you're finally back!..."
"Loki, welcome back!"
The students were so excited to see Loki! They all put down what they were doing and took the initiative to greet him! They knew the name of the wizard Loki, so it seems that Loki is quite famous.
Loki scrutinized them carefully, racking his brains to recall...
"Brother Cheng Li, BOX Box? You are...?" He could hardly believe it. Loki knew them, but he couldn't recall anything from the past.
"It's like...it's like we were friends from a past life?!"
Among them were a few friends whom Loki could truly sense had once been incredibly close, but Loki couldn't recall anything about their past.
On the other hand, Loki's classmates are now in a military camp, or rather, his comrades.
His comrades, however, felt that Loki was still the same Loki they knew before: popular, optimistic, capable, and fond of making friends.
"I know you all, but I know clearly that I'm not the same person I used to be..." Loki thought to himself, afraid to say it aloud, lest he hurt them. Loki glanced at Edward, who was unaware of the situation, and didn't tell him either. ... (No private message sent)
