Only through hardship can one achieve greatness. —Otherworldly Rules 159

Demacia was particularly pleased to see the transaction go smoothly. He knew that true heroes must endure various hardships. Although the *Otherworldly Rules* was a precious treasure of this other world, Demacia, as a high-ranking god, had studied it countless times in private. He understood that only "truth" was truly valuable! As for so-called artifacts, dazzling costumes, and exaggerated combat power, they would all become less important with each version update...

Loki and the beautiful priestess Elisa embarked on their return journey. Before leaving, Elisa's teacher, Priestess Elaine, secretly traded the process of creating the diagrams, and most importantly, the "alchemy mechanism," to Elisa in the form of a codebook. From that moment on, Elisa's value skyrocketed! Upon returning to the other world, she would immediately surpass her current master, the Archmage Odana.

"Loki, how are you? Does it still hurt?"

At the inns along the way, Loki was meditating; neither of them had their Hearthstones bound. At their level, such basic maneuvering was unnecessary.

Loki was still a little uncomfortable, so he didn't respond to Elisa immediately.

"Brother Loki, how about I add another layer of protection for you?" With that, Elisa was about to cast a spell.

"cough"

Loki coughed lightly, clearing his throat. He shook his head, signaling to Alyssa to stop working. All he needed was rest and recuperation.

Seeing this, Elisa understood Loki's predicament. She went downstairs to the counter and booked another room next door.

When they checked in, Loki wasn't in particularly good condition, and Priestess Elisa was a little anxious and nervous. She didn't pay much attention to these trivial matters, so she went downstairs and opened another room at the NPC's place.

There are two standard cabins side by side, each equipped with a double bed. Elisa, having come from another world, wouldn't skimp on saving money by choosing a single room over a standard one. After all, she's already a "VIP2" user; if it were before she became a VIP, she would definitely have been more frugal.

Times have changed. Elisa's status and position in this other world will be even more outstanding in the near future.

"Loki, you get some rest. I'm right next door. If you need any help, just MISS me!" Elisa said with concern and gentleness.

"Okay, go ahead, Alyssa. I have a feeling there will be an attack tonight. Be on your guard!" Loki said confidently.

He was quite experienced in society. He knew that powerful figures would have designs on them. "Survival of the fittest" was the only reference point in the multiple worlds, but because it was too cruel, he didn't want his sister Elisa to know too much, especially about the dark side.

Priests are pioneers of holy magic. Their profession is best suited to be isolated from the world like the "Garden of Eden" race, so as not to be disturbed by the dark side. Although the attack power of dark priests is powerful, their ability to "heal the wounded" is almost completely abandoned. Only abandoned characters would choose "dark priest". For light priests, choosing the pure priest profession is the right choice and their true home.

Elisa looked at Loki with curiosity. She wanted to ask more details, but was afraid of distracting him. She could only obediently nod, mentally preparing herself. That night, she specially changed into her battle suit and didn't plan to sleep, ready to protect her weakened brother Loki at any time.

At 23 PM, the expert attacker indeed appeared.

Loki discovered it first.

"Alyssa, wake up, enemies are coming," Loki whispered to his squad via the squad channel. (Speech to text)

"Roger that, Loki!" Alyssa perked up alertly. She glanced at the codebook and knew the enemy's objective was the potion blueprints.

"Come to my room, let's stop fighting. I'll try out some new spells," Loki invited.

Upon receiving the message, Elisa tiptoed over. She also wanted to see Loki's fighting prowess.

"Brother Loki," Elisa greeted softly as she closed the door.

"Just sit on the sofa and wait. I'm about to open a portal. This is dimensional magic. I learned it by mistake." Loki told Alyssa to wait a moment. They might be heading to a new place, or perhaps they wanted to make themselves undetectable to their enemies.

"Holy crap!" Elisa exclaimed excitedly in a low voice.

The process of casting the spell was somewhat dull, like reciting Sanskrit mantras.

After the portal was created, Loki quickly grabbed Elisa's hand and jumped inside.

Elisa glanced at the team's avatars; they were indeed out of combat. It was a very effective escape spell.

"Elisa, in this way, we've already arrived in another world," Loki said.

Alyssa was incredibly surprised. She hadn't expected Loki to possess such a powerful technique for ending battles, although she had learned and witnessed similar moves in her other world. But Loki's escape method using a "time portal" was something she had never seen before—it was simply amazing!

Normal portals cannot be opened during combat. Loki's ability to force open portals during combat is truly a massive bug.

At the entrance of the girls' dormitory in this other world, "886," Elisa was reluctant to say goodbye, but she knew she had to.

At the entrance of the girls' dormitory in this other world, "886," Elisa was reluctant to say goodbye, but she knew she had to.

"OK, bye-bye," Loki waved goodbye. He knew Alyssa was still young, and dating him might not be appropriate...

The various minor anxieties and lingering thoughts gradually eased Loki's discomfort. He felt unusually energetic. Having discarded the coveted legendary artifact, he felt "unrestrained" and less anxious.
