Dark Eldar
390 Loki, skilled at monster hunting VS. actual combat
The Dark Eldar is sparking a reading frenzy, haven't you read it yet?
A level 999 bounty hunter, the lizardman "Susie" LR. As her race name suggests, she has a light-colored lizard head. She is likely a female character. She is wielding a "Lizard Sniper Rifle" (purple, max level weapon) and is intently aiming at Loki.
Another max-level rogue, the undead assassin Graf the Rogue, is silently and rapidly approaching the Loki Mage.
Elder Wolfd, the werewolf leader, remained remarkably calm. He neither charged nor assumed a fighting stance. He was quite confident. Loki's strength was a mystery outside this world, but in this world, he was a renowned and outstanding young mage (with only a rebellious streak). Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to forge such a divine artifact. Elder Wolfd was well aware of this.
In comparison, Captain Catherine, the beautiful priestess, wasn't entirely clear on Loki's combat prowess. She couldn't believe Loki could possibly take on four opponents alone, especially a max-level combat team including herself.
Loki wanted to use his ultimate move directly, but he hadn't fought in a long time. Since a long time ago, in the battlefield, he had maintained a perfect record against Edward III and Benjamin VI. To this day, Loki has not fought any other heroes.
His daily sparring with mid-to-high-level monsters never stopped, mostly in group battles. Loki believed that each monster had its own strengths and weaknesses. They weren't entirely useless; through monster hunting, Loki's experience points increased, and his weapon proficiency also improved significantly.
He'd been wanting to spar with someone for a while now! He just hadn't found a suitable opponent. You see, the PvP at the gates of the major cities was always considered low-class. NOW, Loki's confidence was off the charts.
In this duel, Loki still chose to be cautious and low-key! He didn't want Catherine to mistakenly think that he was just a showy "big talker".
Loki concentrated all his defenses (a type of telekinesis; maxed-out advancement tree; concealment), preparing to counter the assassin's stealthy attack. Bounty hunters, every strike is meant to be fatal!! Loki had to be cautious; he used to know many old bounty hunters, but they were no longer in contact. Nor did they need to be.
Loki has never fought either of these two high-ranking assassins invited by Catherine. Therefore, caution is advised!
"They must have something special about them, otherwise they wouldn't have been invited by Pastor Catherine. They can't be nobody," Loki thought to himself.
"Clang clang!" (Sneak attack skill)
Two very fast attacks, and both were incredibly critical. If you tried to block with a regular weapon, it might get knocked away or broken.
Fortunately, Loki was using the legendary artifact "Mjolnir" (gold), which is undoubtedly a true artifact!
"ampamp)ampamp¥?? What weapon did he use? That's impossible, right?? If it were an ordinary one, or even a more expensive Creator's Hammer, it should have been knocked away by the hammer, right?"
"The stealthy undead Graf wondered. He remained in stealth mode, unchanged."
Ordinary undead rogues can only reappear once before losing their stealth. However, a max-level, highly skilled Graf can continue to melt into the air, leaving virtually no afterimage, unlike a "false stealth" state. (Note: "False stealth" refers to a state that appears similar to stealth but is easily detected due to insufficient ID cultivation or proficiency.)
Loki, a level 30 mage, had his Insight skill almost maxed out, and he believed he could detect rogues. However, in actual combat, the difference was slightly noticeable. At least Loki could determine the approximate location of a rogue, which was sufficient. (If a max-level rogue could be easily detected by other heroes of the same level, then the class should simply be disabled. "Order" doesn't allow weakening any single class; the same applies to snipers, hunters, and hunters in the distance.)
"Bang" (Silencer skill, automatic instant cast)
It was a very small gunshot.
Loki sensed a poison bullet hurtling towards him. (High evasion; agility)
"These must be custom-made bullets, not the free kind," Loki thought to himself as he dodged.
"If I got hit, I'd probably be paralyzed for a while," Loki guessed, dodging the bullet at the same time. (Note: Loki is now basically a master of everything: intelligence, strength, agility, defense, and exploration; "exploration" is his initial talent; a hodgepodge, if it were any other hero, they'd probably consider him a useless character...)
Loki didn't use his artifact to block, fearing the poison would shatter. He'd seen many similar high-level bullets; what if it shattered? Some poison could even splash into the eyes; many heroes had lost their sight, often due to these poison bullets. It was an extremely insidious skill. The materials for poison bullets were also difficult to obtain. The more toxic, the more expensive the bullet. If hit, a priest would need an antidote for healing; if the antidote wasn't administered promptly, vision would be permanently damaged. Even if killed by the bullet, upon resurrection, an antidote would still be required for recovery.
The beautiful priestess Catherine, standing nearby, possessed the ability to cure the lizardmen's poison; she could do so with the blueprint for the poison bullet. Catherine had already studied most of the poison blueprints. This was the main reason why Catherine was so eager to obtain the blueprint for the "Super Resurrection Potion."
After dodging, the lizardwoman in the distance was also quite surprised. She hadn't seen a true master in a long time. Usually, those targeted by bounty hunters were mediocre; a mage as skilled as Loki was practically untouchable, and no one dared to assassinate or provoke them. Similarly, no one dared to post notices in Demacia.
Wolford the werewolf was excited, instantly switching to battle stance. Seeing the spectacular fight, he seemed to momentarily forget his identity, wanting to challenge Loki to a duel. (Bloodlust; werewolf racial trait)
Seeing the werewolf brother about to charge (Skill 1), Loki decisively raised his divine weapon and charged forward without hesitation! In Loki's eyes, only Wolf was his true opponent; the other two bounty hunters were just young men, a little ruthless, nothing to fear. Catherine the Priest? She didn't have high attack power, so Loki wasn't afraid of her either.
A dazzling golden light! It was the light from the clash between the divine weapon and Wolverine's claws!
Wolf fell... (The impact, a head-on collision! The result of a brutal clash, entirely based on strength, with no room for skill.)
The bounty hunter assassin, in stealth mode, cannot catch Loki when he attacks. (While in stealth, the hero's movement speed is greatly reduced.)
The lizardman sniper fired two shots, but missed Loki's charge.
Wolf, the werewolf leader, never expected that he would be defeated by Loki in a single move.
The remaining bounty hunters were dumbfounded. They recognized the werewolf leader. This cold-looking "monster mage" before them?! He'd taken down the high-health, high-defense werewolf leader from another world in an instant—what terrifying attack power!
Loki felt apologetic, realizing he had been a bit unfair (by not letting the elder have the credit), since the credit was due to the power of the artifact. Without the artifact, Loki couldn't have defeated Elder Wolf in one move. Wolf's impulsiveness and advanced age also played a role.
"Cough cough! I'm not fighting anymore, I surrender." The werewolf leader, Wolf, wasn't dead, just knocked down. (30-second instant defense break)
Loki has been grinding monsters for a long time, so he has a special understanding of how to break through defenses. He's basically fearless (just keep fighting).
They charged straight in, fighting desperately against the "Golden Body".
Loki's fighting style is no longer that of a mage. He wields a melee weapon, hacking and slashing indiscriminately. He even seems more bloodthirsty than a werewolf...
Seeing Old Wolf "Wolfd" so cowardly, Catherine resigned herself to her fate. (Some priests really don't understand PvP; some only know how to heal...)
The remaining two were being chased and beaten by Loki; they were no longer watchable.
High Priestess Catherine had absolutely no opportunity to participate in this battle; she was essentially a spectator. (She was stunned...)
She never imagined that Loki actually "had something"...
