Dark Eldar
363 Server Transfer
The conflicts over the level 2 maps will never end. —Otherworldly Rules 811353
The world of the main map, and the lives of the heroes, are relatively peaceful and serene compared to the secondary maps. Large-scale battles are rarely seen. The AI constantly guards the main storyline, preventing the repetition of epic tales, because they understand the laws of evolution; if the main storyline progresses too quickly, the heroes might "switch servers."
But in the free secondary maps, it's a different story. Large battles and conflicts often repeat themselves. Their AI seems to have entered a kind of "vicious cycle"... This is fatal! It signifies that their status is forever locked in the "secondary world."
In the secondary world, most heroes are free; they don't need to purchase expensive "CD keys" to log in freely. However, their identities must undergo strict verification. Any minor under the age of 18 is not allowed to enter the "virtual world." (The "login device" is restricted, although a few "genius teenagers" have attempted to log in illegally. In earlier times, restrictions on minors were not particularly strict, but in today's era, there are almost multiple layers of checks! Any abrupt behavior indicating "mental or physical instability" will be locked by the core layer! Therefore, 99% of online IDs should be legal, with only a few suspected of being "precocious.")
The alternate world does not accept login applications from any "minors" (latest high-tech gene login, no password required). Legal authorization has been granted to the core layer, further deterring operators from being driven by profit. Imagine if minors witnessed violence and bloodshed; it would certainly be detrimental to their mental and physical development. The real world needs peace! If even the server matrix has nowhere to be "stored" in the future, the very existence of the virtual world will be a major problem. Maintenance, upkeep, and countless other details must be considered in advance using AI big data; no oversights are allowed.
The very famous level 2 map "Kevin Garnier" (51313). It's been receiving a lot of attention lately! The former main map's Dark Messenger, "Dark," is now completely trapped here. When he learned that the "Otherworld" was opening with a level cap of 999, he seemed a little "at a loss." Because when he came to Kevin Garnier, he was "coerced" by Demacia. He's slightly afraid of Demacia; their name alone is enough to completely "hold" him.
"My lord, are you overthinking this?" A familiar voice rang out. It was Ludar (level 89) who spoke.
Ludall was eloquent and very "caring." Remember this name: . Remember this domain name: . Good books never get lost. How could he not know why Lord Dark felt lost?
However, it was Commander Dark who was the first to receive the news.
He was filled with regret, yet dared not confide his feelings. Dark FS, a level 100 character, was ultimately a "dark elemental" creature. His physiology differed from humans. Elemental monsters possessed incredible endurance; humans could only unleash their full potential (a technical term describing high-level endurance) when they reached a point of "enduring hardship and humiliation," but elemental creatures seemed naturally more tolerant. This was evident in the mediocre performance of the "Dark Legion" on the main map. Their six, or perhaps eight, generals didn't even have a single max-level hero yet—perhaps they truly didn't want to invest any more? Or perhaps it was related to their "physical structure"—regardless of size, dark elemental creatures were merely "supporting roles." They hadn't yet displayed their power. Without any apparent movement, they silently devoured the "welfare mines" bestowed upon them by "heaven" (a veiled reference to the server), including the former Dark Messenger Dark, living a "carefree" life.
How could Dark give in so easily? He had seen through it all along. "The Dark Eldar will inevitably intrude (on the secrets). If we continue with the Dark Legion's previous management model, proceeding step by step, then the dark elemental creatures will be nothing more than a trick prepared for the Dark Eldar..."
This was still Dark's original idea. He did not expect the "Dark Eldar" to arrive in full force so quickly (the original version was introduced after the server transfer), and the changes in 30 were also beyond his expectations.
In the original version, reaching the "max level" was something no hero dared to dream of, but now it has been achieved effortlessly.
Sometimes, "major decisions" aren't the core leadership's original intention; there are definitely people behind the scenes directing them. Who is it? It could be a higher-level "program," or it could be a "corporation." But regardless of the main map, major advancements, especially significant changes like those in Otherworld 30 that unlock max-level content, must be followed by all other auxiliary "servers." (Note: Free level 2 maps are excluded.)
The understanding Ludal looked at Dark, the former messenger of darkness, whose face was full of sorrow. He wanted to say something more, but the wise man chose to remain silent. (An ancient proverb)
In the rainforest outside Borodor (59443), the rain pattered down. Under the dim light of a nearly burnt-out oil lamp, Dak looked like he was about to fall asleep. At this moment, he had removed his weary "Devil's Mask" (high-level equipment, purple; source omitted), revealing his true face to Ludar. Ludar dared not look closely. He still knew his limits.
Dark's devil mask is indeed for intimidation. His true face, however, is quite different from ordinary high-level elemental creatures, such as the six Dark Commanders in the main map. He looks both cold and incredibly handsome! (Fair-skinned)
