Dark Eldar

322 Commitment

Are "Resilient Human Soldiers" the only organization, or just the remnants of a larger army? Or is it a temporary team name, similar to "Critical Strike Group" (new teams can be named randomly)?

I believe that any team, even one consisting of only two people—a couple, a mentor/apprentice, best friends, or close buddies—must have some kind of connection to be considered "resilient." Ludar carefully reviewed all the details and information before finally understanding...

"No wonder I always felt that the tenacious human soldiers were different from the other races and elite monsters in the level 2 map. It seems my guess was correct," Ludall concluded confidently. He was particularly adept at thinking, but his initial motivations were completely different from those of Elder Schopenhauer and Master Idjo of the otherworldly realm. (Different statuses, different perspectives, and naturally, different entry points.)

Ludar speculated, "This group of tenacious human soldiers, despite initially being trapped in Gludin's water prison and encountering Dark, suspiciously managed to win the affection, or rather, the favor, of the elven princess Eliza? You see! The elven princess is the dream girl of most heroes. And now we're only in the second-tier map; if we return to the main world in the future, being able to add Princess Eliza as a friend would be a great honor! Let alone developing into a romantic relationship..."

The strategist, Ludar, was meticulous and had previously suspected them. However, due to insufficient evidence and his own wartime shortage of game time (almost running out), coupled with the fear of alerting them, he had been secretly observing. Now, with Vice Commander Markus completing the new achievement (the negotiation mission can be on high difficulty!), his suspicions were even more confirmed!

"They are...they are from multiple...multiple...worlds...transmitted here..." (Secret)

Ludal always thought with a very light touch; he feared others, especially magic like Lord Dark's "Insight," which could "detect" him...

Even though he seemed to have learned the truth, Ludall remained cautious. At this point, he was even more afraid of "alerting the enemy."

In the mist, the human spiritual leader, the old mage "Markars," rode his white unicorn mount, returning to town H with a radiant air. His face remained unchanged. There was no clear indication of joy or displeasure. Describing it as having the same "expression" as always was quite apt. It was a slightly forced, awkward smile. ... (Note: There's a difference between emoticons and natural expressions. One is something that can be displayed; the other is an expression like in the real world. With 99% simulation accuracy, unless you're an "expert," ordinary non-awakened heroes and players wouldn't be able to detect that one minor flaw... It's said that a certain expert can discern it? But that requires awakening first.)

"Welcome back, hero! I'm currently reading Chapter 322, 'The Promise,' completely absorbed in it." Ludar said nothing more than this "line." (Optional)

"..." Marcus remained silent on his mount. He didn't want to make a name for himself yet and wanted to hold back.

"Shall we talk further, Vice Commander Marcus?" A breeze picked up at the edge of the wetlands, and Ludar's expression changed. He wanted to get something out of her with a commanding tone.

"I'm exhausted from the journey; I was merely conducting reconnaissance. Please don't misunderstand, Commander. By the way! You're probably wondering why I didn't ask for permission. I have the answer now. I was indeed too excited last night, and therefore, I acted rashly..." Markus was no ordinary hero. He had even considered what Ludall wanted to ask him. With that, Markus skillfully retracted the "reins." The greyish-white wildebeest mount instantly transformed into a wisp of smoke and disappeared into his backpack. (BB bar; no shortcut key)

"Fine, fine! In that case, why don't I just hand over the leadership to you?" Ludar was angry. He believed he could handle this elderly FS.

"Sorry, I may have made mistakes too, but I have good news to share!"

The wind howled, and Marcus squinted. Finally, an "awkward smile" appeared on his face.

"How about we go inside and talk? Markus FS, you must be tired. How about a cup of coffee I ground myself (a high-grade drink for a level 3 map)?" Ludar smiled, as this suited his tastes perfectly. He had originally intended to get this "mysterious expert" to comply, thus saving himself a lot of trouble and avoiding unnecessary fighting for experience points. The mission appeared to be an important main quest, but the battle-hardened Ludar had long since become indifferent to it. He had seen far too many "life-or-death" situations, "either-or" or "perilous moments." At first, it did seem quite important, but he gradually realized the principle of "meeting challenges head-on." Even when faced with the incredibly cold-blooded commander Dark's "coup"? Ludar's wisdom clearly demonstrated that "there are at least three solutions that can be found to deal with this situation using one's own abilities..." (Note: There are indeed many ways to "pass the level," and simple "positioning," "strategies," "playstyles," and "routines" are no longer sufficient for advanced solo players.)

"Alright, alright, let's talk. I'll thank you. Marcus, after you die, I'll consider building you a 'tombstone,' how about that?" Ludar asked, half-jokingly and half-seriously.

Building a "Monument" is one of the most worthwhile master-level achievements in the main city. It not only appears on the leaderboard homepage, but also in the achievement list! It's also displayed in the offline "Assistant" app.

Furthermore, it's not as simple as just creating a city for whomever you want. Sometimes even the city lord can't do that, because after an old city lord dies, his successor usually "betrays" him! And he might even become "stingy"... In the virtual world, breaking "promises" is commonplace.
