Dark Eldar

300 Surprise

A powerful hero needs a strong will and noble qualities as their "core." If one focuses solely on levels or equipment, falling into "darkness" is inevitable. Nothing is more powerful than "emptiness." Simple acts of "protecting the weak" and "helping the wicked" are no longer sufficient to satisfy the ever-growing "greed" of high-ranking heroes. ... —Nameless Discipline of Another World 318416168 (Uploader unknown)

A beautiful young priestess, Alyssa (level 33), recently joined the "Otherworld" faction. She's already leveled up 5 times in less than a month. It seems the shared experience in Otherworld is "abundant." (Note: High-level large guilds offer many benefits, available to VIP1 members. Shared experience greatly helps leveling up novice heroes, and gold rewards accumulate daily, with the coefficient also linked to daily quest completion and cooldown progress. If daily quests are completed quickly and efficiently, heroes who submit earlier will definitely receive more than those who submit later, sometimes even double. Of course, "repeated quests" won't appear in the short term, unless the number of "bandit monsters" or "invading monsters" is exceptionally large, in which case repeated daily tasks will be assigned.)

Elisa, having advanced to the other world as a priestess, quickly integrated into the group alongside Unita (female, level 38, MS), who also advanced at the same time in Mount Metalar. (They added each other as friends)

On their return journey by "motorboat" (the goblin-made Otherworldly Elder ride is free), Unita and Alyssa chatted endlessly. One was a "quasi-noble," the other an NPC who had awakened. However, Unita wasn't entirely clear about Alyssa's "background." (Note: Once a hero logs in, their identity becomes less important. Especially regarding awakening, as long as they've spent money, no one will scrutinize whether they've "awakened" or transferred servers. Server transfers cost approximately twice as much as awakening, but the success rate is low. Awakening requires a transformation of the hero's own mind from within, not just paying money to easily achieve it... Also, awakening rare elite monsters is more difficult than awakening elite monsters, with better initial stats but higher costs!! Hero awakening is easier than NPC awakening. Some require "triggering," which can be either quest-triggered or story-triggered.)

Version 31 has arrived! High-level heroes are all in "spending" mode. The otherworldly heroes are desperately trying to catch up with their masters. Poor performance and slow leveling will result in indirect punishment. However, the newcomer Alyssa hasn't bought any "experience orbs," as this is completely different from the methods taught by her previous master, "Eleanor," in Yundar. Alyssa didn't expect to have to pay such a high "tuition fee" so soon (her advancement timeline might be a bit unlucky). Meanwhile, Unita, from a relatively well-off family, tries to give them away...

However, the pure and kind-hearted Elisa politely declined.

"Thank you for your kindness, my dear sister Unita. I believe I can catch up with everyone on my own," Elisa said softly in the magic classroom.

"Okay, then I won't wait for you! All my classmates are level 50, so I'll level up to 50 first to avoid getting scolded." Even as she spoke, Unita's charm was still evident. Her every smile and gesture exuded a beauty completely different from Elisa's. (Note: One is a paid cosmetic item, the other is considered "naturally beautiful," but both have passed "real-name authentication," including the newly added "Dark Eldar." A major reason for the delayed update of version 31 is the "real-name authentication." The requirements are now very strict, resolutely preventing the appearance of "cross-dressers." However, some people on the forum once discovered that the "female disguise as male" censorship was noticeably looser, meaning that some male heroes might actually be female. But this is just an isolated case, a kind of "loophole" surprise. Female players generally still need to pass the necessary verification. Even if they dress up as male heroes, are they supposed to "deceive" the feelings of female heroes??)

The novice mage faction has over 200 members, with a predominantly male-to-female ratio. Priests and healers are particularly scarce. Although Alyssa is only around level 30, the other dashing traditional noble heroes in her class don't look down on her. Unita even shares a dormitory with Alyssa, and the two sometimes heal a tank (defense warrior) at the same time. Their dungeon clearing efficiency isn't high, but they're generally safe. The novice tank "Monar" (level 59, novice cap updated to 60) quickly leveled up to 59 and then led two beautiful female priestesses on a three-person adventure to near-level 70 maps. There, they not only gained experience quickly but also obtained good quality materials (blue). Alyssa usually donates rare materials to the large guild, "Otherworld," and the exchanged "experience points" are doubled compared to when she was level 30. (The experience rewards available in the 31st Otherworld are significantly higher than the default rewards in version 30. Lower-level heroes are indirectly experiencing many new benefits. For example, if Loki donated a large amount of rare raw materials from his inventory to the Otherworld, he could still reach around level 400. However, Loki is reluctant to do so. He needs the good materials in his magic inventory to forge and upgrade his other equipment. Especially now, the equipment "ratio" between the Otherworld faction and the Dark Eldar is vastly different... It needs to be improved as soon as possible! If a level 300 hero wears perfectly matched "divine gear," it's very possible for them to easily wipe out several max-level "white-gear" heroes. The various bonuses from equipment, as well as weapon enchantments, special effects, and other stacking attributes, are extremely important!)
