Dark Eldar

297 Repeating the same mistakes

Chapter Update Notice: Chapter 297 Repeating the Same Mistakes (Version 3.1 updated), Reading Address.

Version 31 has been officially updated to – "Rise of the Dark Eldar"! (Updated)

Arthas VII, at this point, had no time to concern himself with the numerous matters concerning the level 2 map. He never imagined that his "original import" method would be so "crude."

The young Prince Apano's faction, along with Neltharion Flame and the mammoth Quellinduyo (human form), still harbored designs on their father. They, of course, also saw the "system notification" (0:00 AM, gold; Common Language). But young Apano remained unmoved. His ingrained mindset prevented him from clinging to his old ideas; he still wanted to defeat his father and become the new "King"!

Neltharion the Black Dragon King (level 473) quickly grasped the new situation. Outside the battle cavern, he said solemnly, "Apa, your father is gone. Are you still so stubborn? You no longer need him." The Black Dragon King said this to persuade him as concisely as possible. After all, he was once his "mentor."

"Brother Black Dragon! I know all that you're saying. But I don't want to hide from him forever. I really want to take his place!" Apa said, gazing at the border of the teleportation portal.

"Okay, since you still insist on your old ways, there's nothing we can do. The world has changed, don't you know that?" The Black Dragon King still tried his best to persuade Prince Apa with the most common language.

"If you want to go, go ahead. I won't go to a place like that. I will protect our home forever!" Apa said firmly.

Seeing this, the Black Dragon King knew that further words were pointless. So he gave the mammoth a wink, signaling Que Kinduyo to follow him "home".

A gentle breeze carried dust as Apa gazed at the Black Dragon King's departing "phantom trail" and uttered a profoundly philosophical statement: "Weren't you also in a hurry to go home? Why didn't you stay here with me...?" (Not a line from a dialogue)

High in the sky, the Black Dragon King sped along at breakneck speed, leaving the mammoths below struggling to keep up.

"Wait for me, brother! I'll have to follow you from now on!" Quiginduyo shouted.

"Sorry, don't worry, I have some errands to run, I'll come back to you soon! I suggest you restore your original appearance as soon as possible! Because the war is about to begin..." After saying this (sent to the team channel), the Black Dragon King sped away.

"Okay! Got it! I'll go wander around somewhere else by myself!" Qui-Kinduyo was forced to leave the team.

After the Black Dragon King left, Qui-Ginduyo felt somewhat lost and empty. He had a mixed feeling of wanting to go to the other world, yet also a reluctance. He knew he probably didn't belong there. But his good brother, the Black Dragon King, was there; he'd go and seek refuge with him first. He'd see if he could find a way to teleport back to "Kevin Garney" later. (Note: The Kevin Garnier map has its share of native wild monsters and bosses like the Mammoth, but if Qui-Kinduyo dies, he won't drop any "artifacts." Level 2 maps aren't great to begin with, so hiding "artifacts" there is impractical... In this other world, only "demigods" or "divine beasts" can drop any "artifacts." Truly good legendary artifacts are only those painstakingly assembled, like Loki's. The system's overpowered design is to prevent large-scale "hunting" and unlimited "waiting for prey." The AI understands the "ant eats elephant" principle best...)

In ancient times, countless unarmed human ancestors, barbarians, orcs, and werewolves secretly hunted elven elders for their various "divine weapons." After numerous updates, these "uncivilized" behaviors were alleviated. However, in level two maps, the barbaric act of hunting "neutral bosses" may still exist. After a large-scale update, due to the "minimal gains," it was gradually forgotten. After all, nobody wants to do "futile work."

Que Kinduyo, the mammoth giant (level 537), continued his journey, encountering many armored monsters along the way!

The armored monster leader (level 753, nameless) also did not order an attack on the mammoth. This might be because he had drunk the humanoid potion.

All the giant monsters, armored monsters, and a few scattered benevolent humans were mixed in with the slightly taller Qui-Kinduyo (humanoid). Version 31 arrived so suddenly! The entrance opened abruptly! This caused everyone to rush in and out in a panic; at this point, no one had established any animosity with each other, and no one knew anyone else. (Some animosity has already been released.)

However, the armored monsters will still turn red when they see the Dark Elf race. The two factions are fighting too fiercely in the level 2 map, resulting in very high mutual hatred. If nothing unexpected happens, the armored monsters may directly "ally" with the otherworldly realm.

Elder Schopenhauer of the Otherworld still seems to be "ignoring" the 31 update, not even bothering to teleport over to greet it personally. Instead, he simply sends Benjamin VI (level 61; mage) to hold up the GG sign? Nobody expected that version 31 of "Dark Eldar" would be so "rough" and "simple," a complete 360-degree reversal from their massive offline GG promotional video.

Arthas VII, a member of the Dark Eldar, chose to travel incognito, not wanting to be "used" by the otherworld before even arriving. With his level 800, he should be able to directly enslave a portion of the otherworld's forces, but due to the high "barriers" in previous versions, he feared repeating past mistakes and thus chose to "keep a low profile."
