Dark Eldar
278 Level 2 Hidden Map
"Quake, you care too much about right and wrong," said Neltharion Flame, the Black Dragon King. He was probably just bored and wanted to give his even more bored friend some advice.
"Oh, not at all. I'm not like you, with lofty ambitions and ideals. I just want to follow you guys and gain some experience." The Mammoth King, sitting sideways on black volcanic rock, appeared exceptionally tall and imposing after drinking the "humanoid potion" and transforming into human form! Especially his long trunk, which seemed to be in the "style" of a mammoth—a bit incongruous. If such an appearance appeared in the otherworldly "Thunder Sound City" (one of the six major cities), he would be ridiculed... (Most of the multiverses still retain a small amount of "worldly perspective," or what some might call "commonplace." The former senior designers have either resigned or are now seeking privacy, and the new generations of successors, in order to better cater to the market and trends, have inevitably brought worldly influences into the "multiverses." The otherworld is relatively purer. There isn't much "embellishment" in this regard. The secondary maps have more "humanity" embedded in them.)
"Brother Black Dragon, I really envy you," Kui said from the bottom of his heart. Inside the level 2 hidden map, the Melar Volcano Lava Cave (171334), everyone was still busy. The older wizard lieutenants were doing what lieutenants were supposed to do, such as discussing and drawing up the Nth battle plan, counting the number of dead and wounded Dark Eldar soldiers, and recalculating and evaluating combat strength. In a slightly darker part of the cave, the Black Dragon King had long since stopped doing these tedious tasks. Neltharion Flame's Dragon King form was only for combat output DPS, which suited him best.
Beside the Black Dragon King sat the "heavyweight" Quai Kinduyo (a mammoth), thankfully he hadn't transformed. Otherwise, the combat cave might have become "overcrowded."
The boring and meaningless conversation continued... For every sentence the Dragon King said, the Mammoth would ask two, and with each follow-up question, there was always one more. (In reality, they probably don't know each other, although they both know the other is likely richer or more influential. The Mammoth, however, always remained low-key and never dared to contradict the Black Dragon King. It's speculated that the Black Dragon King is older than the Mammoth boss, but it's also possible the Mammoth is the older one. Due to privacy concerns, we won't delve into the details about everyone.)
"How long have you lived?" For some reason, the Black Dragon King suddenly asked a sensitive question.
"...You mean my level? Brother Dragon, our method of calculating lifespan might be different from yours, dragons," Qui-Kinduyo cleverly avoided the sensitive topic. (Advanced beings have extremely strong perception; they can indirectly react to the "outside world"... The Black Dragon King's popularity ranking on the spectator list is quite high. Even when he's "unlucky" or hibernating for a long time, fans still watch him sleep, thinking that the Black Dragon King's "model" is really, really domineering! So imposing!! Thumbs up!! etc. Later, his younger brother, the mutated dragon Saberian, debuted at level 0 and immediately won the hearts of female fans! Saberian, from his "glowing skin pattern," "entrance music," and "cuteness," is incredibly "trendy" and "novel"! The only downside is that he's not particularly good-looking... After Saberian grew up, comparing them again now, the traditional Black Dragon King's "skin"—black "hard scales"—is still more imposing! More powerful!!)
"Fine, don't tell me then. Remember, I didn't force you to do anything! It was all voluntary, okay?..." The Black Dragon King sometimes said things that were very difficult to understand, so people guessed that he might be someone who had "been there, done that."
"Roger that! Brother Dragon, my dear brother," Qui-Kindeau said awkwardly. Sometimes he really didn't understand what this "battle-hardened" Dragon King was talking about, or what he was describing.
"Is he still regretting the defeat just now? But that wasn't our fault. Everyone saw it, the wizard team didn't perform well and that's why we wiped. Next time, we should wait until I, the tank, hold aggro before everyone else starts attacking..." Mammoth thought to himself. As the main tank, he sometimes felt guilty. But the more he thought about "team battles," the further he strayed from the "central idea" the Black Dragon King was discussing. The Black Dragon King had long since become indifferent to life and death, and his expectations for the young and promising Apa had also decreased. Instead, he had new ideas... However, the Black Dragon King wasn't one to offer advice to Apa. That was definitely not his style (referring to his methods). The Black Dragon King had essentially established his status as the Dragon King from birth, so he easily and unconsciously "redefined" himself as a main quest role. In fact, in the entire level 2 map of "Dark Eldar," he was originally just a "connecting thread" character... (The Black Dragon King's immediate "defeat" had its reasons. Although it was initially a huge "shock" to everyone, once he adapted to the new map and environment, his "darkness resistance" had increased by 20! That's incredibly high. If he were to encounter Arthas VII again and be "weakened" in one move?? It's almost impossible. "A fall into a pit, a gain in your wit" is an ancient proverb, which Neltharion Flame understands perfectly.)
"Black Dragon King, why don't you go and catch a few more lone armored monsters? Our metal resources are running low, and we'll probably need a lot of 'Lightning Arrows' later on." Just as the Black Dragon King was chatting enthusiastically with Kui, the young and promising Dark Eldar prince "Apa" turned around, looked at them, and then gave the order. He probably thought the Black Dragon King was too noisy. (1. The echo in the cave is strong; 2. The Black Dragon King's voice is indeed a bit loud, even though he tries to control it, it's still easy to disturb those "doing their business" or other heroes...)
