Dark Eldar

There's always a story waiting for you to uncover.

"Camu" was one of the great heroes of the 10th era; in his time, heroes like Izo were still juniors. Other great heroes of the same era included "Karon" and "Cassius" (known as the "Three Musketeers"). Judging from their names, it's easy to tell they came from the same family. Later, before the "Dark Kingdom" swept through the multiple worlds, the era of Camus inexplicably declined. The three great heroes were of similar age and shared the same profession. They all chose the "Mage Warrior" build, a type of warrior. They didn't focus much on spell damage or spell power, but rather on "Intelligence." Their spell defense was exceptionally strong, hence the name "Mage Warrior"—a mage tank! Unfortunately, later on, this well-rounded ability was gradually replaced by "high DPS." No one would intentionally choose a "dual-wielding" build, let alone a "triple-wielding" build of spell defense, physical attack, or physical defense, which would be a tremendous test of willpower and learning ability.

Kalon and Cassius died of natural causes. Their tombstones, located on a hillside in the Alsace Mountains, have become a tourist attraction for posterity to pay their respects. The tombstones are now severely weathered. "Order" doesn't want heroes without a "sustainable economy" to occupy valuable resources (titles) for long. Children today at most know that there was a hero named "Kalon" who was once a high-ranking and righteous figure. They are buried in thick piles of stones, having defeated a few dragons or giants. That's all...

When Camus was alive, the Otherworld didn't exist. The elven demigod elder, Izhuo, knew him (as a friend) and may have known the secret of Camus's survival. Elder Izhuo was incredibly intelligent; this was evident in his decision not to choose to "dominate the Otherworld." That requires not only courage but also absolute "persistence." It sounds funny, but it's true. Heroes without so many "selfish desires" are often the true heroes, while those who are hesitant or swayed by so-called "fame and fortune" or "temptations" cannot truly reign supreme. At most, they can become the "spiritual leader" of a race through absolute advantage, earning that "title"—that's already quite remarkable.

Former Commander-in-Chief of the Wanderers, "Ludar," was now physically exhausted. ...As for those "former legends" in his army? Ludar had heard a little about them, but he was unwilling to get involved. In central Kevingani, Ludar received help from the elf siblings, Irete and his sister. That night, after much deliberation, he decided not to plead with the dark messenger, Dark. Even with his illustrious military achievements and status as an indispensable 'backbone' of his master..."

Sometimes, being too clear-headed is a mistake.

Late at night, Dark noticed Ludar's movements. With Dark's special talent in Dark Element, he was no less capable than the Elves, though their appearance was completely different. That was probably due to "aesthetic fatigue." [Note: Regarding race creation, randomly generating a "Dark Element" is actually quite difficult. Unlike Humans, Orcs, Goblins, etc. (which can be directly selected), Dark Element was initially represented by "Dark Elves" (in testing). Some people even mistakenly thought it was "Dark Elves" and went to great lengths to roll for or obtain a "Dark Element" creature. This contrasts sharply with how rare the so-called free-spirited elite "Barbarian King" truly is. Also note: This excludes a large number of "Elite Monster IDs," which are merely talking monsters; their creation difficulty and cost are completely different and should not be confused!]

"Lord Dark, I'm just tired, please don't worry about it. I'll recover my fighting strength after a little rest," Dark had asked the strategist Ludar during the day. Ludar replied in this way.

Ludar's conversation in the elven siblings' tent. Dark overheard it. He made no comment, pretending not to hear. This was consistent with Ludar's previous assessment of him... In the current environment, metal resources are severely scarce. Many soldiers even use wooden swords and shields, and it's no longer possible for all to be equipped with iron weapons. Werewolves have directly enchanted their claws, no longer using daggers, gauntlets, or other equipment containing metal. Dark's army's fighting strength is rapidly declining. Large numbers of demons are involved in the enemy camp; sometimes, they even risk their lives to steal "green items" on the battlefield. This would be impossible in this other world...

"Ridiculous, Ludar's remaining time is running out??" (Lifespan and time cards are equivalent in Heroic Mindset. Gold coins can be used to buy life, which is equivalent to "time cards," or to synthesize "monthly cards," "quarterly cards," etc., which are on par with gold coins. The price will also fluctuate every day, rising with the tide.)

"Fool! I always thought he was a VIP, too bad. Too bad. His cleverness backfired." Dark mocked the humid air from his invisible state. Beneath his cold "mask," Dark displayed a more normal side of himself. However, he never "opened his heart" like Loki (he wouldn't allow the camera to follow him). Occasionally, he'd utter a phrase that sounded like a "normal hero." Dark's heart was forever cold and ruthless; even a fleeting moment of "compassion" would quickly turn to "numbness," which was absolutely related to the probability of rolling for loot during his initial character creation! Someone as "positive" as Loki had virtually no chance of rolling for a "dark elemental creature"...
