Dark Eldar

"Where did I come from? Where am I going? That is the question." Loki, fast asleep, "wandered" through the void of time and space, and inadvertently remembered his childhood.

Everyone has a childhood, Loki included, even though he's been resurrected more than a dozen times. Yet, he has never forgotten who he is or where he came from.

There are too many magicians in this other world; Loki has no desire to stay there.

Loki remembers:

"The first magic I learned as a child was flying! That feeling of freedom is like swimming."

In his youth, Loki, newly promoted to a novice mage, had the privilege of participating in an "epic battle," a battle of unparalleled ferocity! Even centuries later, Loki still remembers it vividly!

"The dark minotaur Rhodes roared in fury! Countless fireballs and ice crystals, mixed with arrows and arcane missiles, attacked it simultaneously! The moment Rhodes was knocked to the ground! Tempting orange weapons flew everywhere! None of the mages, elves, or warriors took them!"

Why?

"???"

"Who's asking the question?" Loki was baffled.

"Young man, it's me, your neighbor, I'm listening!" It turned out to be the farmer, Old Dema.

"I knew it all along. You're no ordinary person," Loki said.

"So what? Everything is still going on," Dema said earnestly, sitting halfway down.

"Why didn't anyone pick it up? Please continue!" Dema pressed. He seemed particularly interested in that "dark battle"!

"Because, because Elder Asef said, 'All the weapons dropped by the Minotaur Rhodes originate from darkness; if you pick them up, you will surely—fall into an endless abyss!'"

Did anyone pick it up at the time?

"Yes! I saw it!" Loki replied confidently.

"Who? Who is it?" Dema asked urgently.

"Ais-F!"

"Is it the Destruction Battle Axe? That minotaur's axe?"

"No, that weapon was too big; he didn't dare carry it. What he carried was—"

"Shh—someone's here!" Demacia's soul instantly departed.

Loki couldn't believe it: "How could someone be so quiet? Without me noticing at all? Old Dema goes without saying! His exact identity is still unclear."

"Not completely out of the river of time, and in a private space? Could Yundar have another master? Could it be that sheep?"

"Were the rudimentary magical barriers and the foolish guards at Fort Freyjohn all traps? Or just illusions...?"

Loki made wild guesses: apart from saints from another world, it was even less likely that the Eldar would come here.

Loki dared not and could not believe that there were higher-level Holy Spirits in this world.

Loki was a little scared; after all, even Old Demacia had been frightened away.

Regarding the Supreme Elder of the Otherworld, "Isef," he was Loki's mentor, and it was Isef who guided Loki, who had a very high talent for "spiritual power," onto the path of magician training.

Now, Isef has long since vanished. Some say he was killed by his own reflection, some say he chose to fall, and others say Isef is still alive, but we can no longer see him...

Loki woke up, a tear falling from his eye. He missed his teacher, Asif. Despite the strictness of his teachings and the hardships Loki had endured, he still longed for his mentor.

In this alternate world, and indeed throughout the entire multiverse, aside from a few "warm-hearted" saints like Elder Sun Yun, Catherine, and Archmage Schopenhauer, all the other high-ranking mages have chosen "indifference."

They and their apprentices, no matter what they saw or how "cruel" things they observed, chose "indifference," as if the world were fake and didn't exist at all.
