Dark Eldar

160 Werewolf Arugal

In another distant land, "Kevingarney," in the city of Kent, Dark and Ludal jointly govern (and plunder). All soldiers have been reorganized and reassigned. Each battalion commander has gained more power. All werewolf soldiers have been dispersed and assigned to lower ranks.

"Brother, can we do without the werewolves? I've heard they're savage and even more troublesome than orcs," said Eliza, the elf sister.

"Good sister, the barracks are spacious now. We'll let the new werewolves live alone together to avoid unnecessary trouble." Irete was thoughtful; lately, he had often considered the "details" of "management."

"Alright! I'll do as you say, Brother Irete!" the younger sister replied sweetly. She was a clever girl, deliberately feigning ignorance to get her brother's opinion.

As dusk fell, the werewolves arrived without warning, standing at the camp entrance, too afraid to enter. They were both relieved and terrified to learn they had been assigned to the elves' side, fearing that their "siege vanguard"—the mighty "Iret"—would have a bad temper.

"Please don't be shy! Let me give you a formal introduction!" Irete said calmly.

"This is the deputy battalion commander, my sister, the beautiful Eliza." Eliza smiled and waved playfully.

"The second one is your direct supervisor, the human elder mage Markars!" Markars made a casting gesture to intimidate. ("Easter egg": Markars hasn't actually used a single skill since his appearance...)

"Behind us are swordsmen 'Gunte' and 'Mar,' among other high-ranking sergeants. You'll get to know them as you spend more time with them. Our 7th Battalion, formerly known as Gludin 7th Battalion, is now renamed Kent 7th Battalion. We have morning exercises at 6:30 sharp every morning. Please be sure to follow the rules. Everyone is equal before the rules, including me," Irete said fluently. He had actually prepared all of these words in advance.

Fifty werewolf soldiers, each looking at the other, unsure of what to do next...

"Please follow me, new werewolves! Even though we just fought a battle not long ago," said the swordsman Quint after Irete left, and then led everyone into the new dormitory.

The highest level among this group of werewolves was only level 33, the rest were all level 25, which Quint guessed were "child soldiers". (Lu Da'er had already left all the "elite werewolves" in the city defense force.)

Unlike the "White Wolf" of the otherworld, the werewolves of Kent City have a much longer history. They seem to retain many savage "habits," such as eating raw meat, being taciturn, and disliking leveling up by fighting monsters.

The next day, around 5 a.m., Irete got up early to secretly observe whether the "new soldiers" would get up for morning training as agreed.

At 6:30 a.m., the elder human mage Markars blew the assembly whistle precisely on time. The original human soldiers (formerly known as Gludin's "Resilient Human Soldiers"), including the halflings, quickly assembled. As usual, they got up at 6 a.m. and spent 30 minutes washing up and getting dressed.

New werewolves have arrived. They wear very little clothing, mostly just shorts, which is an "advantage" of the werewolf clan. Their ability to withstand the cold is definitely stronger than that of humans. They also have resistance to disease. Werewolves rarely get sick. The white wolves of this "other world" are "degenerate werewolves." Their fur is far less "lush" than that of the werewolves in Kent City. The white wolves are "smug," thinking they have "evolved," when in fact they have "degenerated," as can be seen from their initial attributes. The "agility" and "strength" of intermediate white wolves are similar to those of the novice werewolves here... Werewolves generally do not have magic-based classes. "Intelligence" is symbolic, randomly increasing by 1 or 2 points per level...

"Hurry up! Werewolf soldiers! Keep up with the ranks! Oh! I forgot to ask yesterday, what's your name?" Irete asked the lead werewolf running at the front.

"Arugal, thank you!" The leader, a level 33 werewolf, spoke neither humbly nor arrogantly, and even shook hands with Irete as they ran. This surprised the elven prince Irete somewhat!

"Run! Same as always. A little faster! Let them see what we're made of!!" Irete commanded.

At 7:30, morning exercise ended.

The human soldiers were all panting heavily, while the newly arrived werewolves, Arugal and his men, showed no reaction whatsoever. ("Kevin Garnier Werewolf" racial traits: 1. Malice, increases damage by 1; 2. Dark Flight, increases movement speed by 40 for 10 seconds; 3. Penance, reduces the duration of disease and curse effects by 15; 4. Deprivation, increases skinning skill by 15.)

It turns out the werewolf soldiers were all using "Dark Flight." This further proves that the White Wolf is an elite monster, not a hero. Kevin Garney's werewolf has attributes similar to Elder Wofford (Wolverine) from another world, and he is estimated to become a "quasi-hero" in the future.

[Heroes & Quasi-Heroes], or "IDs," are more intelligent and driven than monsters, NPCs, or elite monsters. Some rare elites also "hide their IDs," such as the "Awakened Barbarian King." In short, many "unknown settings" remain to be discovered after the "revamp."

"Arugal! Come here! Come here for a second!" The elf sister had figured out what was going on.

Although Arugal's rank is not high (quasi-hero, not yet promoted), he is full of "energy" at his core. He is closely related to Elder Warford and his son, werewolves from another world. They share a common ancestor.
