Simultaneously traversing: the pinnacle of all realms

Chapter 16 Where to Find Fantastic Beasts

The Harry Potter world.

Xavier opened his bedroom door, tossed his bags aside, and then collapsed onto the bed.

Having shared the worlds of Rainbow Cat and Wulin Gaiden, although I couldn't develop internal energy due to the nature of those worlds, my physical abilities were already quite strong. Unexpectedly, I still feel tired of shopping.

Outside, Xavier's parents, dressed in oversized wizard robes—they insisted on buying them for themselves (~ ̄▽ ̄)~—were still enthusiastically discussing everything they had seen that day.

I never imagined that magic actually existed in this world.

The two adults seemed to have turned into children, curious about everything in the wizarding world.

For Xavier—

Dirty and messy tavern

The entrance to Diagon Alley is shaped like a trash can—and most importantly, the trash can actually contains trash.

The old-fashioned Diagon Alley

A group of wizards who seem to live in the Middle Ages...

Aside from magical wonders that appealed to Xavier, everything else was out of the question.

Taking a breath, Xavier got up and started packing his purchases.

A twelve and a quarter-inch long hornbeam wand with a phoenix feather core;

A set of secondhand textbooks… after all, Xavier only needed the knowledge contained within. And the textbooks here are really expensive; each new book costs five gallons, so a complete set of new books would cost about three hundred pounds.

A set of experimental equipment, or as Xavier preferred to call these things, such as pewter crucibles and glass bottles;

Then came three black robes, a topped hat, a pair of gloves made of some kind of dragon skin, and a black cloak with silver buttons—the standard wizard's attire.

Under pressure from his parents, Xavier bought an owl as a pet, even though he had already asked and learned that Hogwarts had a public owl shed specifically for delivering mail.

These things cost the Xavier family a lot of money, but thankfully Hogwarts doesn't charge tuition.

"Ethan, come and eat."

Beth, the mother, had already started urging them from outside.

Xavier responded as he came out of the room at the bottom of the stairs.

That's right, Xavier has the same stairwell as Harry Potter, except that it serves not only as a bedroom but also as his secret base and storage room.

At the dining table, the family gathered together for a meal.

After his initial curiosity subsided, Darren, the father, finally spoke up: "Ethan, do you have to go to Hogwarts?"

"We all know you have good grades."

While attending elite private schools like Eton and Harrow is out of the question, taking the 11+ exam can still get you into a grammar school.

"Seven years of boarding school is still too long for you."

"Furthermore, after you graduate from Hogwarts, it will be very difficult to find a job in modern society. You will probably have to rely on the wizarding community to make a living."

Xavier's parents always respected his own ideas and loved him very much.

Xavier looked up, his jewel-like blue eyes meeting the two of them.

"I'm very interested in magic, and—"

Xavier scratched his short hair, feeling a slight itch.

"Didn't Professor Mike say that not learning magic might harm oneself?"

"And don't we have owls to mail letters?"

"What happens after graduation is still too far away."

Upon hearing this, Xavier's parents fell silent.

In a strange and potentially dangerous world, the child about to leave home can only rely on himself.

Even though Professor McGonagall had presented a great deal of evidence to prove the existence of the wizarding world and that Hogwarts was very safe, it was not enough to dispel the parents' worries.

After the meal, Xavier returned to his loyal stairwell.

He really liked this small room; it gave him a sense of security.

Moreover, the parents' room is right next to the door.

He lay in bed, gazing at the small window beside him, watching the night outside.

"Lu Ze from 'My Own Swordsman' is a very salty character, while Lu Ze from 'Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit' stubbornly participates in the plot."

My world was relatively safe a few years ago, but because of my Muggle wizard identity, I'm afraid I'll have to face some dangers later on.

"What can I do?"

As he pondered these thoughts, Xavier drifted off to sleep.

In the next room, Xavier's parents were lying together.

"I said, let's figure out how to start a company or a shop or something."

"For Ethan?" Mother Beth looked up at her father.

"Yes, for Ethan."

The next morning, in the washroom.

Xavier wrinkled his nose, looking at himself in the mirror, or rather, at the two white antlers on his head and his slightly pointed ears.

"What is this? Is it a Bambi cosplay?"

In the Harry Potter world, most people look like normal humans, except for Hagrid, who is said to have giant blood, and Fleur Delacour, who has Veela blood.

He stared intently at the antlers and pointed ears, and as he focused his attention, they slowly disappeared, returning to their normal appearance.

But Xavier sensed that these things would reappear whenever his emotions became unstable.

Xavier pretended nothing had happened and went out to greet his parents as usual.

After his parents left for work, Xavier picked up a piece of stationery and wrote a letter to Professor McGonagall, describing his situation in detail.

Then, the owl named Bobo was sent out.

Time flew by, and Professor McGonagall arrived quickly.

"Mr. Xavier, could you please demonstrate the situation you described?" Professor McGonagall's expression was serious; this was the first time she had encountered such a situation in all these years.

Then his antlers and pointed ears appeared.

After some examination, Professor McGonagall provided an explanation, and Xavier was relieved.

Just as people with Veela blood undergo physical changes when they are emotionally agitated, Xavier also has a very small amount of magical creature blood, although it is not clear which kind of magical creature.

However, there is no downside, and Xavier's magic is highly active.

Professor McGonagall left excitedly, intending to tell the other professors about it, including Dumbledore, and to tell Xavier that a more detailed examination might be conducted on him later.

Xavier opened his textbook and began to read, trying to understand the unfamiliar magical world.

By evening, Xavier's parents returned home exhausted from get off work. They both worked for a food and beverage company, but the food industry in Britain... well...

"Dad, Mom, look!"

Xavier told them about what had happened that day, showing them how he had changed—

Two small white antlers grew on its head, its ears were pointed, its hair had turned a bit snow-white, and a touch of pale gold had been added to its pupils.

Wow! So cute!

Beth jogged over and hugged Xavier, while Darren, standing nearby, was also itching to join in.

Xavier felt the sensation of his ears being rubbed and thought it was quite nice.
