Before we knew it, Saw 2 started filming. Compared to the two-person escape room in the first movie, this time the escape room is for eight people.

The story goes something like this: serial killer Jigsaw reappears. The police follow the clues and arrest him. The hot-tempered detective Eric is shocked to discover that Jigsaw has meticulously planned a gas chamber game. Eight people are trapped in a sealed house filled with deadly nerve gas. Everyone must solve the puzzle and find the antidote to escape before the gas takes effect.

The eight participants include Eric's son Daniel, Amanda, a survivor from the first game, and six others who were framed and imprisoned by Eric for abusing his power. Each person has a number marked on the back of their neck; the combination of these numbers forms the combination to a safe. They are forced to navigate a series of deadly obstacles, including an incinerator, needle pits, and a blood-cutting trap. As fear spreads, the survivors become suspicious of each other and begin to kill one another.

Eric confronts Jigsaw at the factory while watching the brutal game unfold in the secret room via surveillance cameras, helplessly watching his son fall into danger.

Jigsaw kept advising Eric: Learn to calm down and control your anger; this was the test he had been given.

Eric completely lost control of his emotions and violently forced Jigsaw to take him to the secret room to rescue people.

The surveillance footage wasn't live; it was pre-recorded! The life-or-death game in the locked room had already ended before the police raided the factory. The scenes Eric desperately tried to save were already things of the past.

Amanda, one of the eight, was a disciple of Jigsaw and infiltrated the victims to carry out various plans; while Eric's son, Daniel, was not in the gas chamber at all, but was safely hidden in a safe at the scene.

When Eric rushed alone into the empty, corpse-strewn gas chamber, he was ambushed by the pig-masked man.

Eric is then locked to the water pipes in the first bathroom, repeating the fate of the previous victim and becoming Jigsaw's new prisoner.

It's a story full of intrigue and twists and turns.

James Wan told the actors to only understand their part of the script, not the whole thing. In his words, the actors' comprehension skills were somewhat poor, especially the two girls, who were practically illiterate and looked like the kind of kids who went to their uncle's house to watch goldfish in fifth grade.

The first girl to die from poisoning was Beverly Mitchell, a Toronto native, 19 years old, a typical blonde North American sweetheart, the kind who was the captain of her school's football team cheerleading squad.

This girl didn't go to university; after graduating from high school, she became a model, a waitress, and an actress.

Although he's not very bright, he's obedient and cherishes opportunities.

Laurie implied—or rather, explicitly stated—that she would sleep with him for $1000, which saddened and disappointed Yang Che.

"You're a producer, and you even have to pay to sleep with a young model? And for such a small amount!!!"

Laurie shrugged: "Boss, you need to understand, Vertical Entertainment has absolutely no reputation right now."

Yang Che was speechless, so he could only work even harder to assist James Wan in filming.

He didn't participate in the foreigner's performance; in his opinion, they were all over-the-top and noisy.

But I also know that people fall for that kind of thing.

Yang Che also noticed that Wen Ziren had much lower requirements than him and filmed very quickly.

After Yang Che had spent four days on set, it was September 15th, and as filming was progressing smoothly, he was about to leave.

That day, Liu Chang called and said: Zhang Yang has taken equipment that is inconvenient to transport to your province. He has been gone for two days. He is accompanied by two trucks from the printing factory and six brothers. The trucks are loaded with steel pipes and triangular bayonets.

Liu Chang and a group of actors and friends will fly there tomorrow.

Yes, it's September 16th in China.

"Brother Che, your schedule hasn't changed, has it?"

"No, I will definitely arrive in Tsukicheng on the 19th."

"Long live Che-ge! Che-ge, you've worked so hard!"

"If you know I'm working hard, don't make me worry. Just try to get on set and yell 'action,' and that's it."

"Then you'll have to discuss it with Jiang Wen."

"roll!"

"Ha ha."

Yang Che's itinerary changed, of course. He was going to stay in New York for two days and then fly from New York to Beijing.

This whole ordeal cost Li Xiangdong tens of thousands of yuan, which broke his heart.

Yang Che, however, was very excited and restless on the way to the airport.

Pearson Airport.

After getting out of the car, Yang Che still refused Laurie's hug, but held his hand and said, "I'm leaving everything to you. See you on Halloween."

"Don't worry, Boss, see you again on Halloween. And have a great trip to New York."

"Thank you, I'm sure everything will go smoothly with the arrangements."

"Jack is a good guide."

"......"

After boarding the plane at 10 a.m., Yang Che ran into Michelle Yeoh on the plane, who was chatting animatedly with a foreigner. He didn't greet her, just glanced at her and then looked away.

Michelle Yeoh recognized him, but seeing his gaze sweep over her and his expressionless face, she didn't say anything. Michelle Yeoh was quite puzzled for a moment; she didn't seem to have ever met this diva's boyfriend before, let alone offended him.

However, after shaking his head, he didn't care much and decided not to let insignificant people affect his mood.

Coincidentally, Yang Che thought the same thing.

The plane landed in New York at 11:15 a.m., and I got out of the airport smoothly. I was picked up in a white Cadillac, which was Jack, arranged by Laurie.

Jack looks like a Mexican, and he looks a lot like Victor from the TV series Breaking Bad, the one whose throat was slit by Gus Frye.

However, Jack seemed very sunny and had no accent.

"Hey boss, this is Jack, your guide and driver for the next two days in New York. Are you going to the hotel or get something to eat?"

"Let's go to the hotel first."

"Okay, boss. The road conditions are good now, we should be there in about half an hour. You can rest, or you can ask me about the scenery we'll be passing by, and I'll answer your questions. Or I can just give you a direct description, or you can tell me to shut up."

"Jack, you're very talkative, but I need some quiet right now."

"Okay, BOSS."

Although Jack is of Mexican descent and a bit talkative, it's clear he's highly educated.

After walking for a while, thinking of that beautiful figure, Yang Che, feeling restless and a little annoyed, took the initiative to chat with Jack.

Sure enough, 26-year-old Jack is a second-generation immigrant. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top three business schools in the world, and worked in investment banking after graduation. Then, he recently lost his job.

You ask why he lost his job? Well, the internet bubble burst. He was not only trapped in his own investments, but he was also fired.

The more crazy Americans were last year, the worse things are this year; they've been falling for six consecutive months.

Hmm... it will continue to decline for another 5 years.

"Even so, I am still very confident, and I firmly believe that the Internet is the future. I was just unlucky and didn't sell in time."

Hmm... Hearing Jack's words, Yang Che felt much better.
