Gransta stared at the direction of the ancient, rusty gate through the stone walls, while Rimuru curiously approached.

Then the door trembled slightly and crumbled into pieces.

A few complaints suddenly rang out from outside the door.

"Ahem~, this gate looks like it hasn't been here for three hundred years, it's old and loose."

"This is, after all, the place where the calamity-level monster Storm Dragon is sealed. Who would come here to look at it for no reason?"

"Stop dawdling, our mission is to go in and check if the Storm Dragon's aura has disappeared."

A girl's voice rang out.

"Okay." ✘2

Two strangely dressed men pushed open the door with great effort, and the long-awaited sunlight shone into the cave where Granster was located.

"Huh, there are three humans? What are they doing here?"

Rimuru looked at the three humans in surprise; they seemed to be adventurers from this world.

"They must be adventurers who came to investigate the reason for the Storm Dragon's disappearance. However..."

Granster certainly knew who they were; they were just a trio of noobs.

"But what?"

Rimuru looked at Granstree, because they were now encased in a magical barrier, so they weren't afraid of their conversation being overheard.

"I sensed that their auras were extremely... how should I put it? Let's just say they were too weak."

"I really admire them. They must have some special skills, otherwise they can't even beat the weakest monsters in the cave."

"Really? They're really brave!"

Then Rimuru saw one of them whisper the word "Secret".

Their figures instantly became transparent, leaving only faint footprints on the ground.

Rimuru's eyes immediately lit up, and his expression turned somewhat lewd...

"Ah, this... skill... hehe."

"With this [stealth] skill, wouldn't it be possible to peek anywhere..."

Rimuru thought to himself, "Looks like I'll need to befriend that man in the future, hehe~"

Gulansta, standing to the side, was utterly speechless.

"Ahem, Rimuru, please wipe your drool, you shameless and lewd bastard."

"Ah, Gransta, you're eavesdropping on me again."

"Hmph, it was you who couldn't help but speak so loudly, I wasn't eavesdropping."

"I was speaking very softly."

Oh dear, these two little ones are bickering again.

...

Gransta scooped up Rimuru from the ground, flapped his wings, and transformed into a streak of light, rushing towards the gate.

"Wow, the outside world I've been waiting for, here I come!"

Rimuru squealed excitedly in Gransta's arms.

Granstas flew with Rimuru to a clearing in the forest.

"Ah, the air outside is so much better, even though I don't think I have a sense of taste..."

Before Gransta and Rimuru could rest for long, a group of green-skinned devils surrounded them.

Gulansta slightly furrowed his handsome eyebrows.

"What's going on? We're doomed, we're surrounded by goblins."

When Rimuru saw so many people on the other side, he shouted something at Gransta.

Gulansta's face immediately darkened.

"What do you mean by 'surrounding us'? It's more like we're surrounding them."

He couldn't resist tapping Rimuru on the head.

At that moment, a red-turbaned goblin, seemingly the leader, stepped forward shakily and asked cautiously.

"Two powerful individuals! What brings you here?"

"Stronger? Are you referring to me and Gransta?"

Rimuru asked curiously.

The goblin nodded with difficulty.

Rimuru then noticed that the group of goblins opposite him looked a bit strange; they were all physically weak, and even their weapons were tattered.

No wonder Gransta seemed unconcerned about the group of goblins that had appeared.

This is absolutely awful!

"What? Can't we show up here if we have nothing to do? Is this your territory?"

"Oh, no, no, we just came to take a look."

The goblin replied cautiously.

This group of goblins must have been Rimuru's early crew; it really was fate!

Gransta raised a small hand. He was about the same size as Rimuru, and this gesture looked rather comical.

The goblins opposite looked at this pretty little sprite with some curiosity, wondering what he was up to.

"Ice Thorns"

Granster raised his small hand, which was filled with a great deal of magic, and gently waved it to the side.

"Bang! Boom!"

Trees within a hundred meters in one direction were instantly transformed into ice sculptures by the icy thorns, and an entire area was frozen in place by the Gransta.

Even the surrounding temperature dropped sharply, and the goblins, faced with this terrifying scene, all wore expressions of fear.

The goblins were so frightened that they collapsed to the ground, trembling and looking at Gransta with a hint of fear in their eyes.

Gransta gave the goblins on the ground a rather 'friendly' smile.

The outstretched little hand clenched into a fist with its five fingers tightly interlocked, and all the beautiful ice sculptures in that area shattered instantly.

"Bang!"

It turned into a large pile of dust.

"This powerful elven being! We... have already sensed your strength, and we absolutely mean you no harm."

The goblin leader began to break down; the scene was too terrifying, and Gransta had left a deep scar on their minds.

They hadn't sensed any magic from the little sprite before, except for Rimuru, who constantly exuded terrifying magic.

Turns out, this guy is a real terror too!

What are you doing?

"Oh, I wanted to test how my skills would work outside, but I didn't expect them to be so timid."

"Alright, Gransta, stop scaring them. Look at them, they're already so pitiful."

Rimuru shivered from the low temperature around him and couldn't help but speak up for the goblins.

Upon hearing this, the goblin nodded frantically, his fondness for Rimuru increasing considerably.

When he nodded to Rimuru, he didn't dare look at Gransta in mid-air.

Hearing that Rimuru had spoken up for them, Gransta withdrew his magic, but the empty space could no longer be restored.

"Rimuru knows you mean well, so you can keep these goblins."

Granstas said something indifferently and walked away boredly.

The goblin breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Gransta didn't seem to care about them.

But seeing that they looked like they were about to leave, he immediately got anxious, mustered up his courage, and chased after them.

These are two powerful monsters!

Gulansta glanced back at him, which frightened him so much that he knelt down again.

He shouted hurriedly.

"Two powerful individuals! Could you do us a favor?"

After saying that, he slammed his head hard against the ground, his whole body trembling uncontrollably.

Gulansta looked at him and a smile crept onto his lips.

It must be said that this monster was so weak that it didn't even qualify to be his material, but it was very courageous.

He appreciated that, and based on his previous memory, he already knew what the request he was making.

Even his appearance did not fundamentally change the unpredictable thread of fate.

As expected, Rimuru also showed a curious expression and couldn't help but speak to the goblin kneeling on the ground.

"What's your request? Tell me first!"
