In the ice sculpture castle

Granstas lay comfortably on the ice chair, leisurely eating the fruit the goblins had brought him.

"Hmm, these frozen dates look pretty good. Rimuru, would you like to try some?"

Rimuru lay to one side, flipping through documents. These documents contained all sorts of things, big and small, that Riguru had been organizing, and they all required his review.

"Hmph, Gransta, why don't you come and help? All you do is slack off every day. If I could beat you..."

"Oh, are those frozen dates really that delicious?"

Seeing Gransta's blissful expression, Rimuru was also tempted.

I picked up a frozen date from the ice plate, put it in my mouth, and chewed it.

"The Great Sage said: Freezing ordinary dates contains abundant pulp and has a simple effect of dispelling heat."

I listened to the great sage's explanation in my mind, but it tasted bland in my mouth.

Uh!

Almost forgot that he had no sense of taste, Rimuru immediately gave Gransta a miserable look.

Gransta smiled and shook his head, comforting Rimuru.

"Haha, I almost forgot you don't have a sense of taste. What a waste of such delicious fruit."

"But don't worry, you'll have a sense of taste when you can take on a human-like form."

Gulansta seemed to know something, but instead of explaining anything, he continued to leisurely eat his fruit.

And just then

Rigurd walked over respectfully and stood before Rimuru, as if he had something to report.

"Oh, does Rigurd have something to say now?"

Rigurd bowed to Gransta and Rimuru before speaking.

"That's right. Our newly formed goblin cavalry and frost wolves aren't very well coordinated yet. These goblins don't have much to do except go hunting."

"Oh, these goblin cavalry are newly formed, so we can't have too high expectations of them. Just ask them to master [Shadow Summoning] first."

Rimuru thought it was something serious. He didn't expect the newly formed goblin cavalry to have any combat power; he just wanted them to be able to complete simple hunts.

"But... they've all been a bit lax lately... the Frost Wolves just lie there sleeping all day."

Rigurd was also worried that if things continued this way, he would disappoint the two adults.

"What, sleep?"

Rimuru looked at Gransta, who was sleeping on a chair, with a suspicious look in his eyes.

"Could it be that Frost Wolf inherited some bad habits from you?!"

Gransta opened his icy blue eyes upon hearing Rimuru's words.

She retorted to Rimuru in an annoyed tone.

"I'm not taking the blame for this. I used [Dominator] to analyze the Frost Wolf's information before, and there were no negative status effects."

"Why are all these frost wolves like you, working in the middle of the day and then sleeping?"

Gransta shrugged indifferently.

"Let the Frost Wolves sleep if they want, it's none of my business anyway, unless..."

Upon hearing Gransta's words, Rimuru immediately became indignant and jumped up excitedly.

"We're building a country, after all. What's the point if we don't have our own armed forces? And if regular military training isn't up to par, how can we build up combat effectiveness?"

After speaking, he looked seriously into the eyes of the languid Gransta.

"Yes, my Rimuru-sama, you're absolutely right."

Gulansta raised his hands in agreement, but what he was thinking was something else entirely.

"Ugh, even getting a good night's sleep is so hard. Come to think of it, I remember Rimuru wasn't this busy when I watched the story before! Did I change something...?"

Rimuru's little eyes darted around when he saw Gransta's appearance.

He turned to Ligurd and said.

"I've decided to assign an instructor to the newly formed goblin cavalry."

"Lord Rimuru, I think it's feasible. But the choice of instructors..."

Rigurd looked at Rimuru with a troubled expression; there really wasn't anyone qualified to be an instructor.

"As for the selection of instructors..."

Rimuru pondered for a moment before turning his gaze toward Gransta.

Ligurd looked over in disbelief.

Perhaps sensing the intense gazes of the two, Gransta rolled her eyes.

"You little devil, Rimuru, so you were waiting for me here all along."

Rimuru mimicked Granstas, conjuring two tiny hands from slime fluid and waving them.

"Well, you're the one with the most free time right now... Keep up the good work, I believe in you!"

Gulansta received recognition from the top leadership.

Gransta realized he couldn't outmaneuver Rimuru's scoundrels, so he had no choice but to let Rigurd take him to the goblin cavalry camp.

Led by Ligurd, Gransta saw this group of lazy goblin cavalry.

They lay sprawled haphazardly in the shadows, hardly resembling cavalry. The frost wolves lay on the ground with their eyes half-closed, and the goblins used the wolf pack as pillows, mimicking their sleeping postures.

"Cough cough"

Ligurd was somewhat embarrassed that Lord Gransta had witnessed this scene.

"Get up, everyone! Lord Rimuru has arranged instructors for you. Don't sleep anymore."

Upon hearing that the instructors were arranged by Lord Rimuru, the frost wolves and goblins quickly stood up and lined up in rows, just like they were waiting for inspection.

"Huh? Why is it Lord Gransta who has come in person?"

"Yes, that's really strange."

They were quite surprised to see Gransta, even more so than when they saw Rimuru, since this man liked to sleep in the ice castle when he had nothing to do.

He rarely takes charge, just like Rimuru often complains, a big salted fish.

Gransta nodded when he saw that they were standing in neat rows. They weren't as bad as Rigurd had made them out to be.

"Sigh, I was sleeping soundly in the castle when Rimuru insisted that I come here to be your instructor. Well, don't let me down."

Gulansta simply said something.

"Don't worry, we won't let you down, sir."

Liguru was the first to stand up and shout.

"Oh, remember what you said!"

Gransta smiled mischievously, thinking about how to train them later.

"Um."

Ligurd found it a little strange, but didn't think much of it.

Gransta turned his gaze to the pack of frost wolves, who all looked like they were still half asleep, and frowned.

"Could these frost wolves really have been influenced by me?"

Should not be

Gransta speculated that it might be due to the influence of the ice attribute. Generally, ice-attribute monsters do not like high-temperature environments, and their bodies will remain in a low-temperature state and they will usually reduce their physical activity.

(Damn it, I'm not writing anymore... I've just written another filler chapter (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵). I was so scared that I rushed back to write the main story!)
