Kevin had a very fulfilling second semester. He and Snape were finally evenly matched, though it was hard to say what would have happened if it had been a life-or-death struggle.

The holidays are almost here, and Snape gave Kevin twice the potion ingredients he had last year, so he could finish them during the holidays.

This school year, Kevin brewed potions about once a month, brewing a large batch at a time and having Snape help sell them. He still managed to save a considerable amount of money. With nothing much to do for most of next year, he can try to make some money and try to buy the house.

After saying goodbye to Snape, Kevin and his friends went to catch the train.

After arriving at the train station, the group squeezed into a compartment to chat.

Kevin also called Draco over, saying he had something to discuss.

"Harry, you're almost 13 now. Your uncle shouldn't be too restrictive of you anymore, right? You can come over to Hermione and me during the holidays. We can have a barbecue together."

Kevin sent out party invitations.

"Of course I can. Even if my uncle restricts me, I will definitely get out." Harry made a promise. Through Draco's experience, he realized that he could break free from his uncle's cage, and he didn't want to wrong himself anymore.

"Ron, Draco, I'll write to you later, and you can come too."

Ron and Draco both said it was okay, but Ron expressed doubt: "Aren't you going to write the letter, or should Hermione write it? Don't you have any idea?"

There were no attacks this time when we returned, which shows that Dumbledore did indeed clean up the wizarding world. There were also more security personnel on the train, and the train was even protected by a protective charm.

After returning to the Muggle world, everyone went their separate ways, agreeing to keep in touch by letter.

Kevin and Hermione also met up with the Grangers, and they all went home together.

"My darling daughter, what are your plans for this holiday?"

In the car, Mrs. Granger asked Hermione about her.

Kevin basically just follows Hermione's instructions without asking any questions.

"Hmm... I haven't made any arrangements yet, but Kevin has planned to invite his friends over for the holidays."

"Oh dear, wasn't it all arranged by you before?" Mrs. Granger asked curiously.

"It's all Kevin's fault. He suddenly disrupted all my plans last time. Later, I realized that plans can't keep up with changes, so I might as well take it one step at a time."

Perhaps because she's been with Kevin for so long, she's started to adopt his laid-back, passive attitude in some ways.

Kevin: Huh? My fault?

"How about we take a family trip sometime, go camping in a beautiful mountain? You can also invite your friends to come along, what do you think?" Mr. Granger suggested while driving.

"Great, this is good."

Hermione was delighted to hear that they could go on a trip.

Kevin naturally had no objections. On another note, the college would be organizing a trip to Hogsmeade next academic year, a village inhabited only by wizards, which seemed to be not far from the college.

It's somewhat similar to a school field trip; you need a parent's signature to go.

Who should I get to sign this? Dean Hops? Or the Grangers? Or Professor Snape?

They soon returned to their cozy little home, where Mrs. Granger had prepared a feast to welcome them.

The house is now filled with photos they took last Christmas, and Kevin seems to have gradually integrated into the family.

They're no longer as distant as before, no longer so clearly separated.

If you really want to say something, Kevin still addresses the Grangers as "Uncle" and "Aunt."

After dinner, everyone gathered together to discuss where to travel.

The final decision was made to go to a well-known resort area nearby, where the scenery is beautiful and camping, fishing, hunting, and picnicking are allowed.

Hermione volunteered to prepare the camping equipment, and of course, she dragged Kevin along.

The two adults felt comfortable letting them prepare, and whether the preparations went well or not, it would be an unforgettable experience for the children.

Kevin suggested that they invite Harry and the others over a couple of days before departure, so they could help with the shopping and discuss things together.

Hermione originally wanted to do the shopping with Kevin, but after thinking about it, she realized that since they were going to be taken out on a trip together, it would be better to respect their wishes, so she agreed to the decision.

Mrs. Granger smiled and praised little Hermione, saying she had learned to share happiness with her friends.

Hermione used to plan things out without asking for anyone's opinion, only based on the optimal solution. While this was efficient, it lacked a bit of human touch.

After all, facing difficulties together with friends is also part of this trip.

It was unusual for Kevin to write a letter personally, to Harry, Ron, and Draco, arranging a time for them to prepare and free up their schedules.

He had considered inviting the Weasleys, but then decided against it. He didn't want the trip to turn into a social event; he only wanted to invite people his own age. The Grangers would just accompany everyone and not participate in the children's activities.

Hermione discovered that Kevin was usually quite calm, patient, and emotionally stable, but whenever it came to playing or having fun, he became like a child, more enthusiastic than anyone else and the most engrossed in the game.

After all, she didn't know that Kevin had been reborn. In his previous life, he was tormented by the monotony of daily work. Now that he was back to being a teenager, he naturally wanted to enjoy his youth even more. After all, once you grow up, you can't play so freely anymore.

The next day, Kevin received replies from all three of them, all saying that there was no problem.

Kevin and Hermione had nothing to do, so they just had tea with the Grangers.

"Hermione, this trip is over, and school starts in a week. Should we let the rest of them stay next door and go to college together?"

After receiving the reply, Kevin began to think about the matter.

It seems a bit cruel to send Harry back to that oppressive home after such a happy trip.

So he wondered if he could preserve this happiness.

Putting everything else aside, at least Kevin is rich and can do whatever he wants.

Three radish roots are more than enough.

"Where will we stay?" Hermione was taken aback, not expecting Kevin to make this plan.

"We'll stay here, uh, I think Uncle and Auntie would be willing to take me in, right?" Kevin said timidly to the Grangers.

"Oh, of course, child. This has always been your home. You can stay wherever you want." Mrs. Granger was quite pleased and gently patted Kevin's head. Mr. Granger also nodded to Kevin.

Hermione had no objections, of course; she was happy to be able to live with Kevin!

Kevin then wrote to the three of them about the plan.

Harry replied the fastest, expressing a very strong longing.

Then it was Draco's turn, his tone slightly arrogant, indicating that since you've said that, he'll give you face.

Finally, there was Ron, who obviously had to talk his way out of his mother before convincing her, and then asked Kevin if he could bring Ginny along, as she seemed eager to join.

Wow, Harry, your brother-in-law has brought you a wife.

Hermione naturally had no objections. She already had a good relationship with Ginny, and after the Chamber of Secrets incident, Ginny's relationship with the rest of them had become even stronger, so Kevin agreed to the request.

However, Ginny and Draco don't seem to be very close yet, so Ron needs to give Ginny a heads-up beforehand.

At the same time, make Harry look more handsome and Draco more reserved.

Sigh, I've really gone to great lengths for this little group. (Hands on hips)

In the days that followed, Kevin and Hermione often went out together.

They go shopping together and pick out their favorite items; or find a quiet library and choose the same book to read together; or find a comfortable coffee shop and savor a fragrant cup of coffee; or they go to the cinema and watch a wonderful movie.

Although most of these activities can be done at home, the atmosphere and feeling of going out together is ultimately a little different.

In the evenings, Kevin would take some time to brew potions, and Hermione could now help out.

Last Christmas, Hermione studied his notes very well. Her Potions class was the best besides Kevin's. After all, Hermione was smart to begin with, and with Kevin's guidance, she was bound to do well.

She is very enthusiastic about mastering a course and enjoys learning from Kevin tirelessly. It is estimated that she will be able to graduate in a few years.

They even tidied up the house next door and prepared four rooms for Harry and his friends.

And so, time slowly passed until the appointed day arrived.
