Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?
Chapter 20: Crowbar and Magic Wand, the Fight Gets More and More Stylish
Has the time finally come?
Is the reward for this mission generous, or just average?
The numerical values are quite high, but they don't seem as far-reaching as talent and intelligence.
Actually, in the past six months since Kevin enrolled, neither his magic nor his physique has improved much. He has spent most of his time learning potions, and he has mastered spells after practicing them for a few seconds.
Harry rushed over as soon as the afternoon classes ended, looking very serious.
"I heard from Professor McGonagall that Professor Dumbledore went to London."
"Snape might make his move tonight, but the other professors don't believe us, so we have to go check out the Philosopher's Stone."
Harry wanted to ask Kevin if he wanted to go with them tonight; he absolutely had to go, he couldn't let Voldemort rise from the dead.
"Yes, I'll go with you tonight, Hermione, you..."
"I want to go too!" Hermione said forcefully before Kevin could finish speaking.
"I guessed so."
Kevin didn't say anything more, only that they agreed to meet at 11 p.m. in the common room.
Night fell quickly, and the four young wizards sneaked into the lounge.
To their surprise, Neville was waiting for them.
Kevin knew that in the original storyline, Neville did indeed block their way.
But with his involvement this time, the three little ones rarely went out at night and were never caught. So why would the professor send Neville to block the door?
Was the intelligence leaked?
Or was this a spur-of-the-moment move by Dumbledore, just to conveniently give Gryffindor extra points at the end of the semester?
No matter what it was, Neville couldn't escape being petrified with a single shot.
Poor Neville.
The group quietly made their way to the third-floor corridor and opened the room of the three-headed dog.
They discovered a harp playing music automatically in the room, and a three-headed dog snoring.
The group guessed correctly; someone had indeed come by.
Kevin knew that Cerberus was about to wake up, so he told the others to move Cerberus's paws away, open the trapdoor, and jump in together.
The next challenge is the Devil's Vine.
He originally wanted to make it super bright, like daylight, but then he thought, this is the three little ones' growth adventure, and he is an accident, so he shouldn't help them with everything.
Even without him, the three little ones could have passed smoothly.
As expected, Hermione, the top student, immediately thought of the Devil Vine's habits and loudly told everyone to relax their bodies and sink naturally.
However, Kevin was probably very relaxed as soon as he came down, so he fell down as soon as Hermione said those words.
Hermione and Harry quickly relaxed, Kevin easily caught Hermione, but Harry fell down.
Only Ron was left struggling, and no matter what the others said, it was no use.
Fortunately, Hermione immediately remembered the Devil Vine's habits, that it was afraid of bright light, so Kevin no longer hesitated.
A final flash, for Mr. Devil Vine.
The four successfully reached the next level.
This is the interior of a tower-like structure, with a bunch of winged keys flying around it.
The next door couldn't be opened even with a magic spell.
Now it's the legendary Seeker's turn, Harry Potter makes his appearance.
Harry, with his superb skills, successfully obtained the key, opened the door, and the group made it to the next level.
It is a huge wizard chess game.
Now it's our Wizard Chess Master, Ron Weasley's turn to take the stage.
In the end, Ron sacrificed himself for victory, allowing himself to be shot down by an enemy piece and fall to the ground unconscious.
Harry wanted Hermione to send Ron away and write to Dumbledore so that he and Kevin could continue their relationship.
However, Kevin rejected the proposal and instead used a healing potion, which woke Ron up, allowing him to continue working.
Then the four little ones went to the last room together, where a person with a headscarf wrapped around their head stood with their back to them in front of the Mirror of Eris.
That's our real boss, Mr. Quirrell!
"But how could that be? Wasn't Snape the one who wanted to harm me?"
Harry could hardly believe it; the old bat he had suspected for so long had turned out to be wrong.
"Oh, Snape certainly doesn't look like a good person," Quirrell sneered.
"Back in Quidditch, if Snape hadn't been constantly casting counter-spells, I would have thrown you to your death!"
"And then there's Halloween, everyone's drawn to the trolls, except for Snape who went straight to the third floor to stop me!"
The three children then realized that Snape had cast the spell to protect Harry.
Hermione glanced at Kevin as well, and realized that Snape was indeed a good person.
At that moment, a sinister voice rang out, and everyone present suddenly felt a chill run down their spines.
"Quirk, let me speak..."
"But Master, your condition..."
"Shut up!"
Quirrell was scolded, so he obediently turned around, showing the back of his headscarf to the group, and then reached down to remove the headscarf from his head.
suddenly!
Just as Quirrell turned and lowered his head, Kevin suddenly pushed off the ground with both feet and rushed towards Quirrell's unsuspecting back like lightning.
Kevin was suddenly holding a holy sword of ultimate physics in his hand! A crowbar!
"Bang!!"
A loud clang of metal clashing rang out, and Kevin was sent flying.
It's the Ironclad Curse!
Voldemort's terrifying combat instincts made him almost instinctively expend his life force to manipulate Quirrell into casting an Ironclad Charm, successfully repelling Kevin's sneak attack.
Kevin had anticipated this outcome. While still being flung into the air, he had already switched the crowbar in his hand to a magic wand. Before even landing, he unleashed all his magic power in mid-air, casting the strongest attack spell he could currently cast.
"The Divine Blade is Without a Shadow!!"
In an instant, invisible blades rained down on Quirrell.
Voldemort was ultimately too weak and was already at a disadvantage from being ambushed. Unexpectedly, Kevin was so resolute, and after the physical sneak attack failed, he almost instantly followed up with such a powerful magical attack.
Quirrell's armor spell held up for only a short time before Kevin's spell broke it.
Although the power of the Divine Blade had dissipated by more than half, several blades still cleaved through Quirrell's body.
In an instant, blood splattered everywhere, and Quirrell's body was mangled beyond recognition.
The first thing to do after landing is to finish off the enemy!
Kevin pulled out a crowbar again and instantly appeared behind Quirrell, smashing it hard into the back of Quirrell's head!
Beneath the back of that head, where the turban had not yet been removed, lay Voldemort's face.
This attack nearly crippled Voldemort and Quirrell's mobility, and Quirrell's battered body was also knocked to the ground.
However, Kevin did not stop there. He gripped the crowbar tightly with both hands, raised it high, and smashed it into Quirrell's head with a slam. In an instant, red and white substances spurted out.
Kevin smashed the skull repeatedly more than ten times until Quirrell's head was reduced to nothing but a patch of flesh and bone still attached to the skin, and a pile of nauseating red and white matter on the ground.
"Huff! Huff! Huff!" Kevin finally stopped, panting heavily.
Harry and his two companions were completely stunned by the sight before them.
Kevin gave no one time to think, and launched a fierce attack as Quirrell turned around.
Physics and magic intertwined, and the entire sequence of movements flowed smoothly, lasting only a little over ten seconds!
They didn't even have time to react to what was happening. Shouldn't they have been exchanging barbs first? Why did they suddenly start fighting?
"Harry! Come here!"
After Kevin stopped, he immediately shouted Harry.
Before Harry could figure out what was happening, he saw Kevin's eyes filled with terrifying bloodshot veins and madness.
My body trembled involuntarily; I wanted to go over, but my body wouldn't obey me.
However, Kevin seemed unable to accept Harry's procrastination and plunged the crowbar hard into Quirrell's heart.
Harry was startled again when Kevin suddenly appeared in front of him and pulled Harry onto Quirrell's corpse.
Then he grabbed Harry's hand and pressed it directly onto Quirrell's exposed neck.
Harry was so horrified by the bloody and gruesome scene before him that he vomited.
His hand was completely out of his control, held by Kevin.
Then, an amazing thing happened.
Suddenly, Quirrell's lifeless body let out a terrifying scream!
Damn it, Voldemort really didn't die!
But after Harry touched it, Quirrell's body began to disintegrate, and a cloud of black smoke flew out, on which a human face could be barely seen—Voldemort.
"Aaaaaah!! Damn it! You shameless mudblood!! You deserve to die!!"
Voldemort, transformed into black smoke, flew into the air in a rage of impotence, hurling wild insults at Kevin.
He didn't even have a chance to fight back before this despicable mud bastard ambushed and killed him!
Before the three little ones could recover from Kevin's sudden madness, they were frightened by the black smoke in front of them.
However, Kevin wasn't going to just stand by and watch. He used his remaining magic to try and knock Voldemort unconscious in his spirit form.
They simply passed through the black smoke.
"Aaaaaah!! How dare you!! I'll kill you! I'll tear you to pieces!! I'll imprison your soul and torment it for eternity!!!"
Voldemort was furious at Kevin's audacity in attacking again! He had never felt so humiliated! Even when he was tricked and died by Harry's parents using ancient magic, he hadn't felt this frustrated!
"whispering sound."
It's a pity he doesn't know the Crucifixion Curse, otherwise Voldemort would definitely have had a good time with it.
Anyone can talk tough; Kevin's contempt was palpable, and he didn't even bother to argue with Voldemort.
The more this happened, the more Voldemort felt he was going crazy and wanted to die.
But all he could do was rage helplessly.
Finally, because his soul power was running out, he let out a terrifying and stern roar that echoed like Hogwarts, and then slunk away.
Kevin finally relaxed, just like when he faced the troll. He lay flat again, completely exhausted.
His hands and feet are trembling slightly; he's still shaken.
This is Voldemort!
The Killing Curse is far too dangerous and too overpowered. If you are careless for even a moment, you will die instantly if you touch it, with no chance of recovery or self-rescue.
They couldn't block it, and they lacked confidence in their ability to withstand the attack.
Just like at the end of the fourth movie, Peter Pettigrew didn't even glance at that handsome boy before casually casting a Killing Curse and taking him away. It was very abrupt and caught him completely off guard, as natural as eating and drinking.
Therefore, Kevin is also very afraid of this situation.
He had no choice but to abandon all martial ethics and, when Quirrell removed his headscarf, he was the first to strike and kill.
Even the Philosopher's Stone didn't have a chance to appear.
After relaxing from a state of high tension, I felt completely exhausted once again.
"I said... how long are you going to stand there in a daze..." Kevin lay on the ground, speechless, looking at the three little ones.
Harry was facing the gruesome, bloody corpse up close, and he was still vomiting.
Ron sat on the ground, his legs trembling.
Hermione, being a girl, was surprisingly the most emotionally stable one, but she still closed her eyes and rubbed her temples, as if trying to drive away the terrifying images in her mind.
It's understandable that they're frightened; they're still children. It's normal for them to be scared when they suddenly see such a bloody and violent scene.
But that's just part of growing up...
Kevin reached shakily into his Stretching Charm backpack and pulled out a bottle of Restoration Potion.
It took a lot of effort to drink it.
My health has finally improved.
As Professor Quirrell's body disintegrated and turned to ash, the gruesome things on the ground also disappeared.
The most disgusting thing right now is Harry's vomit.
"Hermione~"
Kevin was too afraid to get close to Hermione, lest he frighten her, so he could only call out softly to see if he could wake her.
Hermione had actually calmed down, but her biological instincts made her tremble uncontrollably.
"Kevin... I'm okay, can you help me up...?"
Hermione said weakly.
Great!
Kevin himself hasn't fully recovered yet, so how can he help her? But he's happy that he can get close to Hermione.
Then Kevin went over and lay down directly on Hermione's lap.
Lying flat.
"It's alright, the professors will be here soon. Let's lie down together for a while."
He paid no attention to Ron and Harry's condition. Ron was very obedient and lay down on the steps, peacefully closing his eyes, while Harry was still struggling.
Hermione watched Kevin rubbing against her lap and acting silly, and finally relaxed.
She knew perfectly well that Kevin's sudden attack was intended to kill Voldemort as quickly as possible, nipping any potential danger in the bud.
His methods were a bit violent; it was the first time she had ever seen Kevin attack so violently, not even when facing the trolls.
Kevin: Nonsense, what size is a troll? What size am I?
But in the end, it was a good ending; Kevin is still Kevin.
Finally, the four of them lay down on the steps together, with Kevin and Hermione exchanging a few words every now and then, which helped relieve Harry and Ron's mental stress.
When Snape arrived first, he saw the four little carrots lying down and chatting, all safe and sound, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.
