Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

Chapter 154 Is the House of Requirement a large warehouse?

"Kevin, I heard from Neville that he's seen Draco loitering near the Room of Requirement twice recently."

During the lunch break, Kevin and the others had lunch in the auditorium.

At this point, Harry told Kevin about Neville's recent discovery.

Hearing Harry's words, Kevin was also quite puzzled. What was Draco doing lingering near the Room of Requirement at this time?

"And Neville said that Draco always seemed to be in a hurry, as if he didn't want to be noticed."

Looks like we'll have to send Rita to follow Draco again.

I had her follow me once before, and then she went to investigate Draco's parents. After investigating Kevin, I haven't sent Rita any more missions.

The reason for Draco's unusual behavior is probably that Voldemort has assigned Draco some kind of task.

So here's the question: Is Draco here to see the Room of Requirement, or to see their spell enhancement class?

There's a big difference here.

The location of the classroom for the Spell Enhancement Class is now known throughout the school.

However, only a few core members knew about the Room of Requirement; everyone else thought it was just an empty room that the Spell Enhancement Class had deliberately found.

Given Kevin's status, it's reasonable to provide them with an empty room for training.

Apart from the core members, the other students did not know that the place was the Room of Requirement, and some had never even heard of the name.

If Draco's purpose was to gather information about their spellcasting class or Harry, there was no need for him to sneak around; he could have simply had someone else join the class for him.

If they came to gather information about Kevin, that's utter nonsense; Kevin hasn't participated in a single training session since the start of the semester.

Therefore, Draco had only one goal: to get to the Room of Requirement.

He knew about the Room of Requirement, even its exact location. There was a 99% chance that Voldemort had given him a mission, which meant that Voldemort had hidden something in the Room of Requirement.

What are they hiding? It's so hard to guess.

"Kevin, do you think Draco might be in some kind of trouble and wants our help?"

Ron, standing to the side, said with some concern.

"Yes, he might need help, but we can't openly help him..."

Kevin stroked his chin, speaking as he pondered.

"Kevin, do you think it's possible that we could help Draco out?"

At this point, Ron continued, "In Voldemort's eyes, our break with Draco was because we were unwilling to save his parents."

"This rift was caused by external forces, not because we disliked Draco. Perhaps, in Voldemort's eyes, we wanted to help Draco?"

Upon hearing Ron's words, Kevin was taken aback; he hadn't actually considered this issue.

"To put it another way, we all know Voldemort is lurking in Malfoy Manor. Shouldn't we use this as a pretext to get close to Draco, extract information from him, and actually help him?"

Harry, standing nearby, looked at the suddenly intelligent Ron incredulously and asked, "Who are you? What did you do to Ron?"

Ron: "..."

"I just couldn't bear to see Draco looking so dejected... He used to be arrogant, but I still preferred him the way he was before."

After hearing Ron's words, the others fell silent for a moment, and Kevin patted Ron on the shoulder.

"Ron, I promise I'll bring Draco back this year."

Hearing Kevin's words, Ron finally smiled. Harry and the others also trusted Kevin completely, believing he was a man of his word.

"I have no objection to you going to help Draco."

"However, you shouldn't approach him as if he's one of your own; you should try to persuade him to abandon his evil ways and embrace the light."

"Although we may still argue, this way we can better protect him."

Kevin spoke to Ron, who nodded in agreement, understanding the reasoning behind it.

"And you all pretend you don't know that Draco recently appeared at the Room of Requirement. I roughly know what Draco's purpose is. Let him do it. Only by completing the task Voldemort gave him will he and his family have a better life."

"Of course, I'll have Li secretly follow him, and if he's planning to do anything dangerous, I'll stop him immediately."

After listening to Kevin's words, the group nodded.

"By the way, Kevin, what do you think Draco's purpose was in going to the Room of Requirement?"

Before Kevin could answer, Hermione spoke first.

"Perhaps he was looking for something in the Room of Requirement."

Harry and Ron still didn't understand after hearing Hermione's words, because they knew too little about the Room of Requirement.

"Do you really believe that the things in the House of Requirement will appear out of thin air just by thinking about them?"

Hermione adjusted her non-existent glasses and began to speak eloquently: "The Room of Requirement, in essence, should be a huge warehouse containing all sorts of strange and countless objects."

"When someone uses the Requirement Room, it will create a room based on the environment the user desires, and then retrieve the corresponding equipment from that warehouse and place it in that room."

"That's why the Room of Requirement can respond to your general ideas, but it can't provide you with any objects that never existed, based on the exact image you conjure up in your mind."

"As for the items in the 'Wish-Granting House,' some say they were stored by ancestors..."

As she spoke, Hermione pulled out a book from somewhere and started flipping through it. What she had just read was all from the book, and Hermione hadn't finished reading it yet.

"So Draco is supposed to be looking for something in that huge warehouse in the Room of Requirement?"

After listening to Hermione's explanation, Harry also began to analyze.

"Hmm...I've got it. It says here that as long as we think about needing a place to store things, we can enter that huge warehouse."

Hermione finally found the answer she wanted and showed it to the others.

However, Kevin was actually more curious than about the book's contents: where did Hermione find it...?

I haven't learned enough.

"Then let's hurry in and find what Draco is looking for, so we can be prepared," Ron said excitedly after reading it, feeling a sense of adventure.

"Do you know what Draco is looking for?" Harry asked.

"...have no idea."

Ron was momentarily speechless when Harry asked him the question.

"So are you going or not?" But Ron immediately continued.

"...Go!" Harry paused for a moment, then nodded sharply.

After all, he was also very curious about that amazing warehouse.

After saying that, the two put down their lunch and ran out of the hall. Ron didn't forget to take two chicken legs with him when he left.

Hermione watched the two clowns leave and sighed helplessly.

Then he pinched Kevin, who was watching the show, and his eyes seemed to say, "Aren't you going to do anything about it?"
