Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

Dumbledore addressed the group, mentioning the locket they had found at Black's old house.

Harry had always remembered this incident and was waiting for Dumbledore to tell him more, but Dumbledore never brought it up again after that.

Today, he finally brought it up on his own initiative, which cheered Harry up.

"After my research over this period of time, I can now confirm that the locket is Voldemort's Horcrux."

"First and foremost, you must remember that Horcruxes are extremely, extremely, extremely evil things!"

"A Horcrux is an object that contains a part of a person's soul."

"The reason Voldemort is unkillable is because of the protection of the Horcruxes."

This was the first time Dumbledore had mentioned the word Horcrux in front of everyone, and he spoke about it very seriously.

Even after Voldemort was resurrected, Harry and the others had never seen Dumbledore's expression so serious.

Dumbledore's words confirmed what Kevin and Harry had discussed earlier: the locket was indeed Voldemort's life-saving tool, and it seemed even more evil than they had imagined. Otherwise, Dumbledore wouldn't have introduced the Horcrux so seriously.

"Professor, do you mean that we can kill Voldemort if we destroy that locket?"

After hearing Dumbledore's introduction, Harry immediately spoke excitedly.

"Yes, but not entirely..."

"Based on my deduction, Voldemort has more than one Horcrux."

"In fact, that locket should be the second Horcrux you've ever seen."

Dumbledore paused for a moment, then spoke slowly.

"The second one?"

Hearing this, Harry and the others were all stunned. This was the first time they had ever seen a Horcrux. The locket should be the first Horcrux they had ever seen, right?

However, Harry immediately remembered Tom's diary from his second year, a diary that even contained Tom's memories from 50 years ago.

"It's Tom's diary, isn't it?"

Kevin spoke first, and Hermione and Ron immediately recalled the scene from their second year, and they both reacted.

"That's right, Kevin. Back then, you personally destroyed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes."

"If we can find all of Voldemort's Horcruxes and destroy them, then Voldemort will no longer be immortal."

This crucial element, which has been central to the entire later stages of the film, has finally been revealed.

"Then how should we be professors!"

Harry, as if he had finally found his goal, asked excitedly.

"As for what happens next, let's wait until you've seen this memory first."

Dumbledore turned and took one of the memory bottles from a pile of them.

"What you see before you are all memories related to Voldemort, and this is the memory of my first meeting with Voldemort."

Dumbledore opened the bottle, poured the contents into the Pensieve, and then gestured for them to gather around.

The group exchanged glances and then buried their faces in the mirror.

As memories unfolded like ink, the group found themselves on an English street fifty years ago, where an orphanage appeared before them.

A light rain was falling when a man holding a black umbrella slowly walked down the street. It was Dumbledore from over fifty years ago.

When Dumbledore arrived at the orphanage, one of the orphanage's teachers came out to greet him.

The teacher led Dumbledore into the orphanage and onto the second floor.

We can learn this from Dumbledore's conversation with this teacher.

Dumbledore came here specifically to see an orphan who had never been visited by any relatives.

This orphan is also very withdrawn and often gets into conflicts with other children, causing some serious incidents.

And this orphan was young Tom Riddle.

As Dumbledore entered Tom's room, the group saw some details about the room.

For example, there are seven stones of different shapes but similar sizes on his windowsill.

A photo of coastal rocks is also clipped to the side of the pipe on the wall.

On his desk was a diary.

The following dialogue is Dumbledore explaining to Tom why he is different from ordinary people, introducing Hogwarts, and recruiting Tom into the school.

The memory quickly faded, and the group exited the Pensieve together, looking at Dumbledore.

"Do you know why I'm showing you this memory?"

Dumbledore had already returned to his desk and was asking the group a question.

"Is there some crucial information about Horcruxes in this memory?"

The clever Hermione immediately figured out the reason; at first glance, this memory was just Dumbledore and Voldemort's first meeting.

However, young Tom showed some of the traits that would make him Voldemort in the future.

Perhaps we can find some clues from our memories.

"That's right, child."

As Dumbledore praised it, he took a photograph out of the drawer.

Upon closer inspection, the group discovered it was a landscape photo of a coastal rock wall.

A large hole has been opened in the huge rock wall.

Harry and the others felt that the face looked familiar, as if they had seen it somewhere before.

"This is the photo on the wall that Tom just remembered."

Kevin had just carefully looked through Tom's room in his memory.

They discovered the coastline depicted in the photograph on the wall, the very same coastline where he had hidden the locket.

"Yes, and this is the very place Kreacher mentioned, the place where Voldemort hid the locket."

"I went there a while ago, and it was just as Kreacher described: a black lake with a stone basin filled with poison on a small island in the middle of the lake."

"Clearly, Voldemort did not realize that his Horcruxes had been switched by his subordinates."

Dumbledore then took out the locket they had found during the holidays from the drawer.

He slowly said to the group, "This also proves that we can find some possibilities about the location or items where Voldemort's Horcruxes are hidden from these fragments of memory."

"A Horcrux can be anything—a stone, a leaf, or even a grain of sand."

"They may also be found all over the world."

"But magic, especially black magic, always leaves traces."

At this point, Dumbledore stood up.

"I'm telling you all this today not to ask for your help. The leaders of the Phoenix Order will investigate this matter, but you are welcome to join if you wish."

"But I want to remind you that this year's OWLS is very important, and you can rest assured that you can leave these things to us adults."

"Focus on improving yourself first, so that you can better help everyone in the Order of the Phoenix."

Dumbledore walked to the Pensieve, waved his hand, and the white thread of memory flew in and out, returning to the test tube bottle, where Dumbledore put it back in the storage cabinet.

"I'm telling you all this today so that you can have a goal and focus on the present moment, and not be influenced by Voldemort or the people around you."
