Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

Kevin and Hermione went upstairs with Ron and the others; their room was on the second floor.

Because the old house had been uninhabited for so long, even though Harry and his friends had been cleaning and tidying it up frequently for the past month, it was still clear that many parts of it were dilapidated.

Just like last year's holiday, there were three little boys in one room and two little girls in another.

There is another room on the second floor that serves as a living room. The decorations inside show that it was once gorgeous and exquisite, but now it is just dilapidated.

On one wall is a tapestry depicting the Black family's genealogy, with some of the faces blackened so that their original features are no longer visible.

After putting their things away, the two went to the lobby to chat and catch up on each other's lives.

For example, the twin brothers are taking the Apparition certification exam this summer. If all goes well, they can come and live here with us after they finish the exam.

Dobby continued to stay in the apartment building from last year to clean it, as the renovation plans were cancelled since Sirius had spent most of his time at Hogwarts last year.

Perhaps we'll have time to complete those plans once everything is over.

"Kevin, you've already mastered alchemy in just one month..."

Ron curiously played with Kevin's energy storage crystal, while Harry, as if used to it, made a sarcastic remark.

Kevin himself looked around the room curiously as he answered.

"If you want to learn, I'll teach you then."

"Huh, what are these?"

As he spoke, Kevin noticed some strange things on a cabinet in the corner of the room, and he had a feeling that there was something evil there.

"Those things seem to be from the old house. They were cleared out, but we don't know what to do with them yet."

Harry looked in the direction Kevin was pointing and then explained.

"Don't open that music box, it contains hypnotic magic."

Harry saw Kevin walking over with interest and quickly reminded him.

As Kevin approached, he spotted something familiar among the pile of things.

It was a heavy locket with a silver frame and a brown exterior.

This locket looks just like Voldemort's Horcrux.

Kevin remembered that in the sixth year of the movie, Harry and Dumbledore went to retrieve the locket, and at the end, it was revealed to be fake, which stunned him.

The Horcrux they went through so much trouble to get turned out to be fake. They showed him the Red Ward back then, and Dumbledore died because of it.

Unfortunately, he didn't get to see the rest of the story before he traveled through time with Dumbledore.

So, is the one he has in his hand now also fake?

Is this some kind of cheap, low-quality item sold at street stalls?

Kevin tried to open the locket, but found that it wouldn't budge.

He can't even open up his strength with 30 points of physique, could it be!?

Kevin's expression was a mixture of surprise and confusion.

Currently, the only Horcruxes he knows of are the diary and a ring; he knows nothing else. Finding an unknown Horcrux in advance would be a huge help to them.

But why are we here?

Dumbledore went through countless hardships only to get a fake one, while the real one stayed peacefully in Black's old house.

Harry saw Kevin trying to open the locket and said, "Kevin, that locket must be cursed. Nobody can open it."

When he first discovered this locket, he felt uncomfortable with it and couldn't open it no matter what he tried.

"Besides, I feel like this isn't a good thing; it makes me very uncomfortable, so you'd better not touch it."

Harry continued, saying that he just thought of the Black mansion as an old place with snake-themed decorations that he hated, which annoyed him, and didn't think much of it.

Since Harry said he felt uncomfortable, it's probably true; this must be a Horcrux.

However, Kevin wanted to make one last attempt...

"It also gives me an uncomfortable feeling...like Voldemort's diary when I was in second grade."

Kevin went straight to Harry's words, intending to expose the Horcrux to Dumbledore.

Upon hearing the words "Voldemort," everyone sat up straight.

Does Kevin mean that this locket is related to Voldemort?

"Kevin, what are you doing...?"

At that moment, Harry noticed Kevin's actions and asked...

Kevin then pulled out a crowbar and made a few quick chopping sounds.

Three golden rays of light shot out from the crowbar in succession, as if the crowbar had been enchanted by some kind of magic spell.

Kevin used his other hand to cast a solidification spell on the table, preventing it from being smashed by the stick.

Harry and the others realized what Kevin was planning to do, and they all took a few steps back to a safe distance.

Kevin raised the crowbar high, his arm veins bulging.

Kevin unleashed this attack with all his might!

boom!!

A tremendous roar exploded!

Smoke and dust quickly filled the room, obscuring Kevin's condition.

Harry and the others felt the floor beneath their feet shake violently a few times.

"Kevin! Are you alright?!"

After Hermione regained her balance, she immediately called out anxiously, wanting to come forward, but Harry stopped her.

He was worried that something might have happened to Kevin.

"I'm fine."

Kevin casually waved his hand, sweeping away all the smoke and dust.

He appeared before them unharmed.

However, they were speechless for a moment.

Because where the table had been in front of Kevin, the tabletop was now on the ground...

Kevin hammered the table into the ground like a nail?

Although this room is a bit old, it doesn't have to be this exaggerated!

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps came from outside the room.

Sirius and his group rushed in, wands in hand, and stood protectively in front of Harry and the others, surveying their surroundings as they asked questions.

Sirius shouted nervously.

Hearing Kevin's words, the group relaxed a little and looked at Kevin and the mess at his feet with confusion.

Kevin crouched down and took out the locket, which wasn't even scratched, from the mess on the floor.

"I think we need to call Headmaster Dumbledore over."

"This locket is related to Voldemort, and it's very important."

The group all looked at the locket, and Harry and his friends found it even more unbelievable.

It withstood Kevin's blow and didn't even get a scratch?

Kevin quickly recounted the events to Sirius and the others.

Upon hearing that Harry and Kevin both felt the locket was ominous and resembled Voldemort's diary, the group began to take it seriously.

Putting aside the fact that Kevin confronted Voldemort head-on three times, Harry did have a real connection with Voldemort.

Finally, judging from the mess on the floor and the table embedded in the floor, this locket is indeed unusual.

Sirius had never seen this thing in his house before he ran away.

The group quickly agreed that Moody would write a letter to Dumbledore, while they cleaned up the mess and examined the locket.

However, neither magic nor brute force could open the locket, so they could only wait for Dumbledore to come and see it.
