Hogwarts: A little lion in the skin of the Eagle School

It's time to come.

This morning, a letter from the Ministry of Magic arrived at Hagrid's hut.

After the last trial, Hermione had already helped Hagrid prepare a lot of information and had him use telegrams to get attention for Buckbeak.

Inside Hagrid's hut, Hagrid sat by the window, sadly gazing at Buckbeak outside.

Hermione paused for a moment, then understood John's meaning and asked hesitantly.

"You mean... let Buckbeak escape?"

Hearing Hermione's words, Hagrid understood John's meaning and shook his head.

"No, John, I've thought of this method before, but it won't work."

It simply means making Buckbeak an ownerless magical creature, thus escaping the Ministry of Magic's sanctions.

The problem is that doing so is illegal, and Hermione also disagrees with this approach.

John simply shook his head, telling them not to rush, and continued speaking slowly and deliberately.

"Of course we can't let Buckbek go."

"But what if Buckbeak broke free of his restraints through sheer willpower?"

"I mean, break free in front of those executioners from the Ministry of Magic."

John's words stunned Hagrid and Hermione.

"You mean... create an opportunity for Buckbeak to escape 'on his own'?"

Hermione asked slowly.

This is fundamentally different from "letting go".

"That's right, after all, the Ministry of Magic has put it on trial and determined that Buckbeak is a dangerous animal."

"So, it's quite reasonable for this dangerous animal to break free and escape when faced with a life-or-death crisis, right?"

John nodded and continued.

"Besides, there are so many hippogriffs in the world. If one escapes, does the Ministry of Magic think they can arrest them all to verify their identities?"

"So as long as Buckbeak can escape back into the Forbidden Forest and blend in with the other Buckbeaks, or simply find a new habitat."

"The Ministry of Magic will no longer be able to confirm its whereabouts and identity."

"Even if they did have a way to find Buckbeak, they wouldn't spend so much manpower and resources to search for him."

"After all, this execution was essentially done by those good-for-nothings to curry favor with Malfoy; they didn't care whether Buckbeak lived or died."

"In the end, it will just end up like that case of the man-headed lion-bodied scorpion-tailed beast that injured people, and nothing will be done."

After listening to John's full analysis, Hermione and Hagrid were both impressed.

Although this is a reckless flirtation with the edge of illegality.

But it is indeed a good method.

If Buckbeak can escape without a trace, the Ministry of Magic will most likely choose to let the matter drop.

Once Hermione understood, she immediately stopped crying and burst into laughter, excitedly hugging John again.

"John, you're so smart!"

Hagrid's eyes also welled up with tears of joy.

John felt Hermione's warm embrace, and reached out to pat her back gently, a faint smile appearing on his lips.

All they need to do is rescue Buckbeak.

"Alright, Hermione, we still need to plan out the specific details."

"I've had enough hugs," John said softly to Hermione.

Hermione reluctantly released her embrace, but her arms remained draped over John's shoulders.

Her tear stains were still wet, so John reached out and wiped them away for her.

Hermione blushed slightly, but did not flinch.

Just as John was wiping away her tears, the wooden door of Hagrid's cabin was suddenly pushed open with a bang.

Harry and Ron rushed in.

"Hagrid, we heard about Bucky..."

Harry and Ron had just entered and were stunned at the doorway before they could even finish speaking.

Their gazes fell on Hermione and John's still intimate pose.

Hermione was also taken aback when she saw them; she realized she hadn't told them about Buckbeak yet.

How did they know?

However, noticing the strange looks they were giving her, Hermione realized she was still holding John, and immediately blushed as she withdrew her hand, coughing lightly as if nothing had happened.

John scratched his head awkwardly and looked out the window at the scenery.

Wow, the sky is so blue!

Harry and Ron had different expressions: one was surprised but not unexpected, while the other looked incredulous.

Hagrid, oblivious to their expressions, was excitedly rubbing his hands together as he spoke.

"Harry! Ron! You've come at the perfect time!"
