Hogwarts: A little lion in the skin of the Eagle School

Chapter 69 Pettigrew's Ugly Appearance

The Great Hall was deathly silent.

Everyone stared in astonishment at what was happening on the scene.

Professor Lupin attacked a pet mouse in public, and Professor Snape intervened to stop him. Then, an unknown little wizard appeared and protected Professor Lupin.

Then, a shocking revelation broke: it was suspected that someone else was responsible for the deaths of Harry's parents.

Then Sirius appeared, followed by the appearance of Little Pygmalion.

Little Pettigrew stood there trembling, his eyes filled with terror and despair.

With Dumbledore standing here, even with all his extraordinary abilities, there's no way he could escape now.

"Principal! Principal! Help me!"

"It was Sirius who leaked the secret back then, and then used shapeshifting to permanently imprison me in the body of a rat!"

"He's trying to kill me again! Help me, Principal!!"

Little Pettigrew suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice sharp and piercing, causing everyone to frown.

And they even poured all the dirty water on Sirius Black.

This statement seems plausible at first glance, but upon closer examination, it is quite unreasonable.

If a creature turned into a rat still had any self-awareness, it would have sought help long ago, for example, by dipping its hand in ink to write.

But if you didn't have your own consciousness, how did you manage to figure out the situation and ask Dumbledore for help as soon as you appeared?

Upon hearing this, Sirius immediately flew into a rage.

"Peter!! You damned bastard! You're the one who killed James and Lily!!"

Sirius roared and raised his foot to kick.

But Dumbledore simply waved his hand and imprisoned him.

Little Star was also imprisoned.

"Peter!! Do you dare to make an unbreakable oath with me! Swear that neither of us will lie, and then tell the truth about what happened back then!!"

Although Sirius was imprisoned, his expression remained one of rage as he roared loudly at Pettigrew.

Upon hearing this, Little Pettigrew's face turned deathly pale, and he didn't know how to respond.

Make an unbreakable vow?

Sirius isn't stupid.

This attitude alone can greatly increase Sirius's chances of winning.

The ugly appearance of Pettigrew is thus fully exposed.

Anyone with a discerning eye could immediately see that Little Pygmalion's fear and panic were almost palpable.

Dumbledore narrowed his eyes, having already made up his mind.

Pettigrew's lips trembled.

He tried to argue his point, but found he couldn't even make a sound.

Even the most clueless little wizard could guess that this seemed to be a standoff.

Is Sirius Black being framed?

All eyes were fixed on Peter like sharp blades, each gaze filled with doubt.

Sirius Black was also enraged upon seeing this.

"Peter, you coward!!"

"You're the one who killed James and Lily, and you still won't admit it!!"

Pettigrew's face grew paler and paler; he knew he was powerless to change anything.

The pinnacle of the wizarding world stood before him.

Even Voldemort couldn't save him.

Gradually, this despair turned into madness.

"Heh, heh heh, heh ha ha ha ha ha!"

"No! Sirius!"

"You're the one who killed James and Lily!!"

"If you hadn't been so clever and insisted on making me the 'secret agent,' they wouldn't be dead at all!"

"You're the one who killed them, hahaha!!"

Little Pettigrew laughed maniacally, his laughter filled with desperate madness.

His words sent a chill down Sirius's spine, making him tremble with anger, but he couldn't find a reason to refute them.

A flicker of pain flashed in Sirius's eyes, and he gritted his teeth so hard they almost broke.

"And you, Remus!"

"At the time, everyone suspected you of being a traitor! They didn't suspect me at all!"

"Just because you are..."

Little Pettigrew continued his maniacal laughter, about to reveal Professor Lupin's werewolf identity.

But Dumbledore reacted quickly, waving his wand and casting a silencing spell, silencing Little Pettigrew.

Many people were taken aback. Why did it suddenly stop? Who is Professor Lu Ping?

A few people had their own guesses, but they didn't voice them.

Sirius understood his meaning and, no longer silent, immediately roared in rebuttal.

"No!! We never doubted Remus!"

"Whether it was me, James, or Lily, we never doubted Remus!"

"At the time, he was on a mission with the Order of the Phoenix and was thousands of miles away, so we couldn't tell him about it in time."

"It was you who, after becoming the liaison officer, immediately went to inform on us, which is why we didn't have time to tell him!"

Upon hearing Sirius's words, Professor Lupin smiled with relief.

Although Little Star couldn't make a sound, his expression remained a maniacal smile, only gradually turning into helplessness.

He knew he had nowhere to run.

The truth is now out, but a heavy atmosphere still lingers in the air.

Dumbledore hadn't expected things to turn out this way.

Sirius Black proved his innocence, but he collapsed to his knees in despair.

Little Pettigrew's words had deeply wounded the guilt and pain in his heart.

Professor Lu Ping patted him on the shoulder.

Everyone was still caught up in the farce that had just happened.

Some people spend ages trying and still don't understand what happened.

Some people were sorting through the information from those words.

Harry also found a lot of talk about his parents in those words.

Then, the farce finally came to an end.

Dumbledore reassured the many students present and told them to go back to their dormitories to rest as soon as possible.

The school will handle the rest.

Harry wanted to chase after her to find out what had happened, but Professor McGonagall stopped him.

He promised to give Harry an answer once everything was settled.

As for John, he was also taken away.

It's because he was involved in the initial riots.

......

Inside the principal's office.

Dumbledore looked at the three people in front of him with a somewhat speechless expression.

Sirius sat listlessly in the chair, Lupin looked calm, while John wandered around like a curious child.

Dumbledore sighed helplessly: "Couldn't you have discussed this with me before making this decision...?"

Professor Lupin has just told Dumbledore everything that happened.

So Dumbledore learned the whole story.

It turns out that a first-year student unexpectedly became the bridge between Sirius and Lupin, allowing them to meet and reveal the truth.

In the end, it was his idea that was revealed in front of everyone.

It works really well.

Little Pettigrew confessed, and Sirius Black was exonerated.

Harry also learned some things that she didn't want to tell him for the time being.

If he hadn't reacted quickly, Lupin's werewolf identity would have been exposed.

Dumbledore didn't mean to blame them; he just couldn't help but want to complain a little.

"Gah!!"

At that moment, Phoenix Fox suddenly cried out in surprise inside the office.

Then, in the next instant, it bursts into flames and turns to ashes.

John stared in disbelief at Fawkes, now reduced to ashes, and then looked at Dumbledore, bewildered.

He was still clutching a tuft of phoenix tail feathers in his hand.

Dumbledore: "..."

He had heard Minerva and Felius mention this unfortunate child before; a somewhat impulsive, curious, but very talented student.

Now he has truly witnessed this recklessness and curiosity firsthand.

"Um... Principal, I didn't mean to. I just noticed its feathers were a bit loose and I wanted to help it pluck them off..." John said obediently, bowing his head timidly.

If Dumbledore hadn't seen the tuft of tail feathers in John's hand, he almost would have believed this nonsense.
