Hogwarts: A little lion in the skin of the Eagle School

"Alright, alright, John, don't get angry with Blackie."

Hermione reached out and patted John's head, smiling as she spoke.

John was also taken aback by Hermione's actions.

However, he quickly realized what was happening and whined at the black dog.

They put on an air of smug satisfaction.

The black dog was speechless. It shook its head, pawed at the ground a couple of times, and gave John a disgruntled look.

Then she turned and left without looking back, as if she had been angered.

This scene made Hermione laugh again.

John watched the black dog's departing figure, his smugness gradually fading, and he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He doesn't want Hermione to know about the Animagus right now.

John, seeing Hermione's still smiling eyes, changed the subject.

"Hermione, let's go back and continue watching the game."

Hermione nodded and did not refuse.

However, before leaving, she looked in the direction the black dog had gone, seemingly lost in thought.

As the two walked toward the Quidditch pitch.

As soon as they turned a corner, they saw a large group of students walking down the corridor ahead.

They had all returned from the Quidditch stadium, and they were talking amongst themselves the whole way, their faces still showing doubt and lingering fear.

John and Hermione exchanged a glance, both seeing confusion in each other's eyes.

Is the game over in just this short time?

Judging from the students' expressions, they didn't seem to have any excitement after the competition; instead, they seemed a little uneasy.

"John! Hermione!"

What are you all doing here?

Just then, Neville, who was passing by, spotted them and immediately ran towards them.

"Navie, has something happened?"

Hermione saw Neville approaching and immediately asked.

Weren't you guys on the court just now?

"Harry's in trouble!"

Neville was taken aback at first, but then immediately spoke.

He quickly recounted what had happened after John and the others left.

Both were shocked to hear that Harry had been attacked by Dementors and fallen from his flying broom.

"How's Harry doing?"

Hermione asked worriedly.

"He's in the school hospital now. Mrs. Pomfrey said he's fine and will wake up soon."

Hearing this, Hermione breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hermione, why don't you go visit Harry? I'm going to find Titus and the others too."

John noticed Hermione's worry and spoke to her.

Hermione nodded, but still gave John some instructions.

"You were attacked by Dementors a few days ago, so you absolutely cannot go out now, understand?"

She spoke to John like a stern old woman.

John had no choice but to agree repeatedly.

Hermione then turned and left with a sense of relief, heading towards the school hospital.

After watching Hermione leave, John turned to Neville and spoke.

"Senior Nave, let's go to the auditorium together."

Neville nodded. He had just gone to check on Harry, but Harry wasn't awake, so he left.

As they walked, John asked curiously about the details of the competition.

As he recalled the events, Neville recounted the scene to John.

John kept frowning.

Because he suddenly realized something very serious.

He seems to know where Sirius is...

Since arriving at Hogwarts, he had seen Dementors roaming outside every day, and gradually he got used to it.

However, this time, the Dementors' renewed mischief gave him a sudden realization.

He realized that the Dementors weren't Hogwarts's specialty, but rather there to capture Sirius Black.

Dementors = Jailers

Sirius Black = Prisoner

Prisoner = wearing prison clothes

So where did we see the prison uniform last time?

Ah yes, that's right. After the black dog turned into a human, the thing it was wearing was a prison uniform.

So that black dog was actually Sirius Black in disguise.

This thought process may be somewhat disjointed, but sometimes you suddenly understand something.

The more John thought about it, the clearer his logic became.

We already knew that Professor Lupin and Sirius were old friends.

This explains why Professor Lupin was so excited when he saw Sirius Black.

And he kept urging John to stay away from him.

It turned out that he already knew that the black dog was Sirius Black.

He had initially thought that Professor Lupin's evasiveness was simply an attempt to cover up his illegal Animagus activities.

Unexpectedly, even illegal Animagus acts were considered beneath him.

John scratched his head, looking somewhat troubled.

I really need to find out what's going on from Professor Lu Ping as soon as possible.

John could clearly sense this during his interactions with Sirius.

He didn't have that vicious aura about him.

It's not as terrifying as the news reports make it out to be.

And the kindness that Daju showed him further proved this point.

While it's a bit unreliable to always bring up a cat, sometimes animals are just more trustworthy than people.

Especially in this magical world, the judgment of animals is even more reliable.

So John has no plans to report Sirius Black, at least not yet.

The incident of Harry Potter being attacked by Dementors did not attract much attention.

Everyone just considered it an accident.

At dinner time, John finally saw Professor Lupin again.

It was clear that the werewolf transformation was taking a toll on him; even after a day, his face was still frighteningly pale.

But John wouldn't let him off the hook just because of that.

After dinner, seeing Professor Lu Ping get up to leave, he immediately followed him.

On his way to the Black Defense Classroom, he finally caught up with Professor Lupin.

Good evening, John. I don't think you're here to check on me.

Professor Lupin was not surprised by John's appearance; rather, he chuckled as if he had expected it.

"If you need some care, I can certainly provide it."

John said nonchalantly.

Professor Lu Ping chuckled lightly, but did not stop walking. Instead, he continued walking towards the black-screen classroom.

"No need for that, I'm not that fussy."

"Come to my place for a cup of tea."

Watching Professor Lupin's retreating figure, John knew this wasn't the place to talk, so he silently followed behind him.

The two walked to the black-out classroom and entered the office on the second floor.

Professor Lu Ping simply waved his hand, and the teapot automatically started boiling water.

He slowly sat down in the chair behind his desk, his expression slightly tired but still gentle.

"Sorry, John, I guess you have a lot of questions you want to ask. You've been holding them in for so many days, thank you for your patience."

John sat opposite him and shook his head.

"Actually, I only have one question to ask."

"Oh? One? Tell me about it."

Upon hearing John's words, Professor Lupin raised an eyebrow and asked with a smile.

John also spoke slowly.

"Is Sirius Black really the vicious prisoner the Ministry of Magic claims he is?"
