Hogwarts: A little lion in the skin of the Eagle School

Soon, it was the weekend again.

After getting used to life at Hogwarts, even time seemed to fly by.

Morning, Great Hall of the People.

John and his friends sat together eating breakfast.

I heard there's another Ravenclaw practice match today, so Ryan and the others said they're going to check it out.

Since it was only a matter of one morning, John didn't refuse.

The group chatted while eating, discussing what they should do in the afternoon after watching Quidditch.

At that moment, a quarrel broke out from one side of the Great Hall of the People.

"Hey Potter, when that beast dies, I'll donate its head to your Gryffindor common room as decoration."

A voice, arrogant and slightly mocking, rang out.

"Malfoy, either shut up or I'll tear your mouth apart."

Another voice, which John recognized somewhat, rang out, tinged with anger.

"Whoa~ I'm so scared! Potter, who's been scared unconscious by the Dementors, is going to tear my mouth apart, hahaha!"

A blond boy named Malfoy mocked without restraint, while Harry Potter stood before him.

The commotion attracted the attention of many people, including John and his group.

"Look, that's Draco Malfoy."

"He's the one who was scratched by the hippogriff a while ago."

Titus looked at Malfoy over there and introduced him to his companions.

"The beast he just mentioned that was executed was the winged beast that scratched him."

"I heard that Professor Hagrid's job was saved by the principal, but the winged beast was not, and was handed over to the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures."

"Although there are people defending that winged beast and have filed lawsuits, there is no verdict yet."

"But I think it's unlikely."

His words immediately clarified the whole story for the group.

But what John was more curious about was how Titus knew everything.

On the other side, Harry Potter and Malfoy almost came to blows, but luckily someone stopped them.

Judging from their appearance, the feud between these two has been going on for quite some time.

"When you encounter Malfoy, you should stay away from him or pretend you didn't see him."

"Especially you, John."

"That guy loves to bully us freshmen to get his attention, especially those from Muggle families who are more likely to be bullied."

John, who was eating bread and watching the show, was taken aback.

Why should you be bullied just because you're not from a Muggle family?

"Remember what we told you? Their family used to be servants of the Mysterious Man."

"Those who follow the mysterious man are a group of fanatical purebloods who have utter contempt for Muggle-born people; his family is one of those people."

Seemingly noticing John's confusion, Titus continued to explain.

"Last year, a serious incident occurred at the school, in which several Muggle-born students were attacked by unknown assailants."

"Even the principal almost got suspended."

Even Ryan and Ethan were unsettled. Wasn't Hogwarts supposed to be the safest place in all of Britain?

How could such a serious incident still occur?

John also began to understand Titus's meaning.

It turns out that in the wizarding world, there are distinctions based on bloodline.

I've read about purebred and mixed-race people in books, but they've never been mentioned in books, and there's a distinction between high and low social classes.

You really can't just study books all the time.

However, judging from Titus's words, it seems that only so-called pure-blooded people hold this view.

Ryan comes from a pure-blooded family, but he doesn't have this view.

Suddenly, Titus and his companions' conversation came to an abrupt halt.

John looked up and saw that it was Malfoy with two henchmen passing by, who also seemed to be here for breakfast.

However, because the two underlings were walking side by side, they took up the entire aisle.

As they passed Titus, the larger of the two men, annoyed that Titus was too fat and blocking their way, nudged Titus in the back with his elbow.

He arrogantly taunted, "Get out of here, you fat pig."

Titus stumbled from the elbow and fell onto the plate in front of him, his breakfast getting smeared on his collar.

"Hey! What are you doing?!"

Titus, annoyed by this, immediately stood up and shouted.

Hearing his complaint, Malfoy and his two henchmen stopped and turned to look at Titus with impatience.

"What are you yelling about? You're blocking my way, can't I just push you aside?"

"You're talking nonsense! The aisle is wide enough, how am I blocking your way!"

Titus was not afraid at all when faced with his two tall and strong underlings, and he angrily retorted.

He was just telling John and the others not to mess with them, but now he's suddenly become a bunch of troublemakers himself.

When Titus stood up, John and the others also stood up and stood beside him.

"Wait, who the hell are you? New here?"

Malfoy, standing behind, looked at Titus and the three little ones beside him. He didn't recognize them and they were clearly not from his noble circle, so he impatiently called out.

"Who do you care who I am! You hit someone, so you have to apologize!"

"Ha, why should we apologize to you? Do you even know who we are?!"

The tall man next to him sneered, walked over, and gave Titus a hard shove.

He was saved from falling thanks to Ryan and Ethan catching him.

"We are..."

Just as the man was about to say something arrogantly, John suddenly grabbed his wrist as he was about to pull it back.

"Not only did he hit someone and not apologize, but he also dared to hit them?"

John said in an unfriendly tone.

Before the man could react, he suddenly pulled hard with his hand and swept his foot, kicking the big man's shin.

This immediately caused the big guy to lose his balance and fall to the ground.

John didn't loosen his grip; he turned sideways and pressed down on the big guy, pinning his gripping hand behind the big guy's back.

"Ouch! It hurts! It hurts so much! Let go!!"

John pulled up his hand, which was being held by the back, with a slight effort, and the big guy let out a painful scream.

Apologize to me right now.

John held him down and said coldly.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. The big guy who had just been so arrogant was pinned to the ground by John, completely unable to resist.

John retaliated so quickly that they didn't even have time to react.

The most outrageous thing is that John was a head shorter than this man, yet he could easily hold him down.

"What are you doing! Let go of Goyle! Do it! Crabbe!"

Malfoy only came to his senses after hearing Goyle's screams.

He immediately ordered another of his henchmen, Crabbe, to attack John.

Crabbe also came to his senses and hurriedly pulled his wand from his pocket.

Seeing that they even pulled out their wands, it was no ordinary conflict.

Although Titus and the others were still in a daze, they quickly pulled out their wands.

Malfoy also drew his wand, both pointing at each other, the tension palpable, as if a fight was about to break out at any moment.

Titus and his companions have only been learning magic for two weeks; they definitely wouldn't win if it came to a real fight.

But none of them backed down.

"Stop it, all of you!"

At that moment, a cold voice rang out.

John felt himself being lifted up by an invisible force, and then suddenly he was shaken back two steps.

They looked at the newcomer, who was none other than Professor Snape.
