Legend has it that a fully armed knight could single-handedly suppress a peasant uprising of dozens. Before the invention of the musket, which could penetrate armor and treat all people equally, the disparity in training and equipment allowed knights to forever trample the peasants into the mud, never to rise again.

Mian may not have the bravery of the knights of old, but in terms of equipment alone—the holy sword that can unleash sword energy at will and the armor that can withstand close-range pistol fire—Mian can no longer be described as a knight dealing with peasants; rather, he is like a hero who has just defeated the demon king trampling on the goblin's lair.

Of course, it would be even better if these items could be seen, making the scene look less like a naked man wielding a stick-like object and wreaking havoc among a group of muscular men...

"Quack, stay away from my teeth!!!"

In just one or two rounds, most of the gangsters were knocked to the ground by Mi An, leaving only the long-haired man sitting on the ground, backing away into the corridor with a look of terror on his face.

This wasn't because he had any special skills, but purely because of the numerical values. He simply swung the mop handle in his hand, and the gangsters who had surrounded him were once again knocked unconscious by the sword energy.

"I'm sorry, God of Time Travel, although the presentation is a bit abstract, the cheat you gave me is indeed useful."

Mian briefly mourned in her heart the possible existence of a god of time travel, her own mother whom she had inadvertently released. Then she picked up a baseball bat that the gangster had left behind, which was still intact, and walked towards the long-haired man.

"No, no, no, don't kill me! We don't want your debt anymore, we don't want it!"

The long-haired man was soaked in sweat, and he begged for mercy repeatedly, but Mian simply came up to him with a smile and said:

"Is it still up to you whether or not to collect the debt? Come on, choose one now: do you want this big stick you found (referring to a baseball bat), or my big stick (referring to a mop handle)?"

As the half-mop handle that had so easily knocked down all his men drew closer, the long-haired man's breathing became increasingly rapid.

"I...I...I want to..."

"Too late."

Mian swung his baseball bat and knocked the long-haired man unconscious. He hadn't intended to give the man a choice anyway. After all, he couldn't even see the blade of that broom handle holy sword, and he had no idea how to activate its sword energy. If he accidentally killed the man, it would be troublesome enough to attract the police.

Mian looked around and then saw the other guests in the rooms casting horrified glances in her direction.

"Hiss, let's pack up and get going, or who knows what we'll attract."

Thinking this, Mian turned around and went back to his room, but the first thing he did was not to change his clothes, but to look at the glass mirror in the bathroom again.

This "golden finger," whether it can be called a "golden finger" or not, has already proven its value. Mian should at least seek its opinion on the upcoming escape operation.

Then he saw a string of white-glowing words reappear on the mirror.

You easily defeated the goblins, but the fact that these dragon minions could penetrate so deeply without hindrance still makes you wary, indicating that evil is lurking beneath the surface.

You are preparing to embark on an expedition filled with glory and heroic epics. Before that, you need to make thorough preparations, such as bringing the crystal ball that connects you with your advisor.

A shard of mirror fell from the wall to the ground with a clatter. Mian picked it up and saw that the white light characters that had originally appeared on the broken mirror had all been transferred to this shard.

It seems this dilapidated thing is the crystal ball described in the text. Its purpose is probably to allow one to see the mysterious text at any time.

"...Wouldn't it be better to just project it onto a phone or retina display? Didn't your previous text also end up on the TV screen?"

As the king of this country, you are unlike some fools whose minds are filled with unnecessary questions. You deeply understand that magical communication can manifest temporarily elsewhere, but only the crystal ball is its eternal vessel.

"...You bastard, you can definitely hear me, right? Is someone in there controlling this thing to mess with me?"

Faced with Mian's fierce criticism, the mirror shards pretended to be dead again, no matter how Mian fiddled with them, no new words would appear.

With no other option, Mian could only start making preparations on her own.

The long-haired man's recent visit provided crucial information to Mi An, whose memories were incomplete: at this very moment, he seemed to be being targeted by an organization called the Celestial Cult. This organization was very powerful, certainly more so than these gangsters.

If this were a real-world America, Mian wouldn't have to worry about anything thanks to her current cheat-like abilities. But this is a country called the Ocean Federation, similar to yet different from the US. Who knows if the cult here is just a complete scam or if there's a real evil god backing them up?

We must find a safe place to hide as soon as possible, and at the very least, we cannot stay in this hotel that has already been discovered.

Mian searched her room and found the clothes that the original owner had left behind. She also took a black leather jacket from the long-haired man, thus ending her naked state.

Despite the mysterious text chattering about how goblin rags shouldn't be placed over the sacred armor, Mian ignored it all. After all, the sacred armor and the Kingdom of Haris only existed in words and fantasy. In the real world he was in, naked men walking in the streets was clearly not something that was allowed by the world.

They robbed the gangsters of all their money, leaving only the bills for the room. Instead of using the main entrance, Mian jumped out of the window of the second-floor room.

On the street, likely due to other hotel guests calling the police, black and white police cars flashing red and blue lights were slowly making their way around the corner towards the hotel. If he had been any later, Mian might have been cornered by the police and charged with assaulting an officer, but thankfully he had already safely entered the dark alley. In this slum lacking surveillance, this alone was enough for him to leave these tools of capitalist violence behind.

Mian thought to himself, a smile of satisfaction spreading across his face. But just then, he suddenly felt a warmth in his palm as he held the shards of mirror.

"That unreliable guy has come back to life again?"

Mian curiously brought the mirror shards closer to her eyes, only to see four large characters appear on the enormous fragments.

"Watch out for the big dragon."

Big Dragon? What Big Dragon? If gangs are just goblins, then what is Big Dragon? A T800?

Mian's relaxed state of mind immediately tensed up again. He looked anxiously at the intersection behind him, trying to find the real-life dragon incarnation.

Then he saw an out-of-control dump truck hurtling straight toward him.
