Inside the room, the insect that had its back to him slowly turned around.

The female insect in front of me was large and robust, casually leaning against the window.

He had fiery red hair, his shirt was slightly wrinkled, and the buttons weren't fully fastened.

He had his arms crossed, his eyes were sharp, but a playful smile played on his lips. He looked unkempt and untamed.

"Welcome to the Thorn Pirates, Lord Lin Luo." He spoke in a light tone.

Lin Luo steadied himself and looked directly at the other person: "Who are you?"

"Me?" the red-haired female insect grinned, "I'm the leader of this group of outlaws. You can call me 'Garret'."

"Garret? You might as well be called Caribbean." Upon hearing this name, Lin Luo couldn't help but silently retort in his mind.

"Did you kidnap me?" Lin Luo's tone was cold and hard, making no attempt to hide his displeasure.

Red-haired Bug shrugged, his smile unchanged: "Don't put it so harshly, sir."

"Look, ever since we 'invited' you here, we've treated you with the utmost courtesy. We haven't put any restraints on you, and we've even provided you with the most comfortable room to sleep in. Don't you look quite refreshed now?"

Lin Luo scoffed, "So, according to you, I should be thanking you for your great kindness?"

Red-haired Worm seemed oblivious to the sarcasm in the words and seized the opportunity: "That won't be necessary, as long as you're willing to do me a small favor."

Hearing the word "help," Lin Luo felt a little relieved—having someone to ask for help meant he was temporarily safe.

"Why should I help you?" he countered, deliberately emphasizing the word "help."

"This isn't the attitude of asking insects for help. Besides, I've disappeared without a trace, and the Empire is probably searching for me with all its might right now. How long can you hide?"

The red-haired worm, however, remained unperturbed, still sporting its usual grinning expression.

"If you think you can rest easy with the Imperial Army, you are underestimating the Thorn Pirates."

"The Imperial army can't even catch a glimpse of us, so how can they possibly rescue you?"

"Oh?" Lin Luo looked incredulous. "Didn't some kind of space pirate group kidnap a lot of male insects from Planet Bibo before?"

"In the end, wasn't it wiped out by the Imperial army?"

Red-haired Worm looked disgusted. "Don't compare us to Bloodblade's butchers. We've never lost a battle against the Imperial army."

"Moreover, we are far superior to the so-called Blood Blade 'civilization'."

"Civilization?" Lin Luo scoffed. "Do space pirates have to talk about 'civilization' now? Don't you find that a bit ridiculous?"

Red-haired Bug's nonchalant expression softened, and his eyes sharpened. "Of course, if you insist on experiencing 'uncivilized' treatment, you may try it."

Lin Luo knew that testing someone should be done in moderation.

On the surface, the Thorn Pirates did indeed appear less violent and more tolerant of themselves.

But all of this is based on the so-called "help," and whether one can get away unscathed afterward remains to be seen.

Lin Luo took a deep breath and asked, "What exactly do you want me to do?"

The red-haired worm's smile vanished, and its gaze locked onto Lin Luo: "Help a female worm soothe its spiritual sea."

"Hmm?" Lin Luo appeared to be simply puzzled, but his heart suddenly tightened. His first reaction was that his special mental power had been exposed!

But that's not right. Only he, Elland, Parks, Hawke, and the Marshal know about this!

None of them seem like the kind of insects that could leak this information!

Could it be...?

Outside the Ailand Mansion on the capital planet

As soon as the hovercar came to a stop, Theodore jumped out and pounded on the door, yelling, "Lin Luo! Open the door!"

Voske followed closely behind, ringing the doorbell while trying to calm the master down: "Master, please don't be anxious."

However, only the smart home assistant responded: "The main insect is not home. Please leave a message if you need anything."

Theodore's heart sank. He recalled the previous kidnappings of several male insects. "Could Lin Luo be...?"

"No, my lord," Voske immediately interrupted him, reassuring him firmly.

"Since the Bibo Star incident, security on the capital planet has been fully upgraded, especially at the border crossings, where the screening of all unidentified individuals is extremely strict, making it almost impossible to infiltrate."

Theodore pursed his lips; for now, he could only force himself to believe this.

Capital Patrol Team Headquarters, Command Center

"Captain, we've reviewed all the relevant surveillance footage."

"Because that area is close to the residences of high-ranking military officers, public surveillance coverage is inherently low for security reasons..."

"The last time Lord Lin Luo was captured was at a street corner. No suspicious targets were found following or appearing around the corner for a period of time before and after he turned the corner."

The patrol team leader, Leonard, looked ashen-faced.

The disappearance of a Grade A male insect from its jurisdiction is undoubtedly a huge dereliction of duty by the patrol team.

He could already foresee the outcome of his resignation, but now, the most urgent task was to find Lord Lin Luo.

Conventional methods had failed, so he could only ask the military officials in charge of insect control who had come to assist him.

Hawke was the one who came to take over.

He wasn't originally in charge of this matter, but he took the initiative and forcefully switched the task—he absolutely couldn't stand by and watch Major General Ailand's future leader get into trouble.

Looking at the pitiful clues provided by the patrol team, Hawke's forehead veins throbbed, and he cursed inwardly: A bunch of useless trash!

But he held back in the end; soldiers belonging to different systems cannot be trained by those who are not his own!

He took a deep breath and relayed the military's findings:

"We reviewed recent Starport jump records and found a group of suspicious targets that briefly stayed there before leaving. The technical department is now tracing the source of the signals."

He turned to Leonard, his tone serious:

"I will lead the team to continue investigating this lead, and if necessary, we will directly deploy ships for intergalactic tracking."

"Your patrol team is responsible for thoroughly investigating the interior of the capital planet. Please make sure to find out if anyone with a false identity has come to the capital planet, and at the same time maintain real-time communication."

"Understood." Captain Leonard nodded emphatically.

Hawke said no more, turned and strode away with a chilling murderous aura.

Boarding the military aircraft, he slammed his fist on the control panel: "Idiot!"

Akto sighed. Hawke, disapproving of him loitering around the military headquarters, forcibly dragged him over to help.

He skillfully started the engine:

"The defense system of the capital planet has been terrible for a long time. I thought it would be better after the last attack, but it seems that nothing has changed."

"Don't be angry yet. The most important thing right now is to find Lord Lin Luo."

Hawke suppressed his anxiety and led the team out.
