Godlike: From Fake to Real, Lord of the Gods

Chapter 2 The Resurrectors of the Pangu Civilization

……

"From the perspective of conventional scientific understanding, predicting the future is indeed paradoxical and difficult to establish, as Lena said. However, in the past spacetime theory research of Super God Academy, its possibility has not been completely denied."

Lianfeng paused for a moment, then operated the projector to display some of the information she had gathered on the big screen. The dense data, complex charts, and obscure formulas were like a book written in heaven, regardless of whether anyone could understand them.

"In the past, Super God Academy has conducted extremely in-depth research on spacetime theory. Based on some data from the Divine River Civilization and some remaining advanced technological theories, we have constructed a complex spacetime model."

"In this model, spacetime is not a single, linear existence as we traditionally understand it. It is more like a vast and intricate network, where every time point and every spatial location is like a node on the network, interconnected and influencing each other."

"Theoretically speaking, if we could find a way to break through the conventional limits of time flow, or even briefly enter a special spacetime dimension, time might be presented in a completely different way."

"In that special dimension, the past, present, and future may not be clearly defined, but rather exist in a chaotic and intertwined state."

"Through some high-precision observation and analysis methods, it may be possible to capture certain fragments of information about the future."

"It's like finding the thread that represents the future in a tangled mess of threads."

"During my time at Denuo, I participated in related research. We built special devices to simulate this environment and did indeed capture some anomalous signals. Those vague fluctuations seemed to be related to future events."

"However, regrettably, due to the limitations of technology at the time and our insufficient understanding of the nature of spacetime, we were never able to reliably reproduce these phenomena, let alone accurately interpret the specific content represented by those signals."

"Ultimately, this research had to be put on hold, but it is undeniable that, theoretically, predicting the future is not entirely impossible."

As she spoke, Lianfeng looked at Du Qiangwei with a slightly unusual expression in her eyes.

Spacetime Genes!

Du Qiangwei's spacetime gene is an unfinished super gene project, which was jointly researched by Liang Bing and Karl during the time when the Super God Academy was still in the Angel Civilization period.

Later, the Super God Academy was expelled from Angel City, and the unfinished spacetime gene was also brought to Denuo for further research.

In the design concept of the spacetime gene, Liangbing attempts to endow its owner with the ability to perceive subtle fluctuations in spacetime. These fluctuations are not limited to the present; theoretically, they may extend to the past and the future.

The past can be undone, and the future can be changed!

This is Liang Bing's original design intention for the spacetime gene. Although it may be difficult to achieve at the technical level, it is only for now.

Lena pursed her lips. Although she was a bit overwhelmed by these complicated theories, she couldn't help but interject, "No matter what, this sounds too far-fetched. Even if such a precognitive ability really existed, the future changes every second. What's the use of knowing? It might even change the original course of events and make things worse because of knowing in advance."

General Dukao tapped the table lightly and said solemnly, "Lena has a point; predicting the future is indeed fraught with uncertainty. However, Earth is currently facing a dual threat from angels and the Taotie. If we can know some key information in advance, we might be able to take the initiative in dealing with the crisis."

"So, Lianfeng, do you think that this person who can foresee the descent of angels and the attack of Taotie might actually have mastered some method that we don't yet know, breaking through the conventional limitations of time and space, and thus knowing about these upcoming events?"

"But who has that ability? As far as I know, the only ones in the known universe who could possibly possess this technology are angels, demons, and Death God Karl," Lena said, crossing her arms and deep in thought.

"It can't possibly be Lieyang anyway."

Jess pondered, "If the other party calls angels 'birdmen,' then he can't possibly be one of their people. In other words, he could be a demon, or someone working for Death God Karl?"

"No." Lianfeng shook her head.

I don't think so.

"Why?" Dukao asked.

"Rose knew this person half a year ago. He suddenly appeared on Earth, and Deno III could not find any trace of his entry. It was as if he came out of thin air," Lianfeng said.

"Moreover, during their contact, this person subtly told Rose that he came from the Pangu civilization."

"Pangu Civilization? Is there such a god-level civilization in the known universe?" Lena frowned and quickly searched her database, but found no relevant information.

"Yes, but not now," Lianfeng said.

"In the database of Super God Academy, the Pangu Civilization is an ancient civilization that existed hundreds of millions of years ago. It is also the earliest civilization in the universe that we can currently know of. Death God Karl once proposed the concept of ultimate fear through his research on this civilization."

"Ultimate fear? What is that?" Du Qiangwei asked in confusion.

Lianfeng thought for a moment, organized her thoughts, and explained, "No matter how the main biological civilization develops, it will always encounter stronger forces of insurmountable force under the main biological technology."

Simply put, the universe cannot contain the highest intelligence. It's like we're in a closed box, and no matter how hard we try, we can't break through the limitations of that box.

"Intelligence cannot transcend the universe, and therefore cannot comprehend it. Karl defines this as the ultimate fear, an insurmountable obstacle for intelligence, like an unbridgeable chasm that stands in the way of civilization's development."

"In a state of ultimate fear, all cognition may be completely wrong. For example, as our technology develops and explores the edge of the universe, when the wisdom of civilization explores the edge, it will find that no matter what kind of technological theory or the knowledge accumulated over the past hundreds of thousands of years, it cannot define the edge of the universe, but it does exist."

"Therefore, there must still be a kind of knowledge that a civilization has failed to understand that can unravel all of this, that can unravel everything that even the highest wisdom cannot penetrate."

"The highest wisdom of the Dark Nebula—Death Karl—defined it as the ultimate void, believing that the key to unlocking the ultimate fear was hidden there."

"So..." Lena paused.

"You suspect this person is a resurrected being of the Pangu civilization?"

"Very likely," Lianfeng said.

In their continued research, many brilliant minds have discovered that the genetic code is ultimately just a conceptual data set. Although the amount of data is enormous, it can be recorded, preserved, and recreated.

The code can be scattered anywhere in the universe, and it can be regenerated as long as there is an equivalent amount of energy and matter.

Even if it's hundreds of millions of years apart!
