Tsumiki was wearing a white loungewear set, her apron was still damp, and she was holding a soup spoon, looking like she was busy in the kitchen.

Tianyan reached out and patted her head, his voice gentle: "Long time no see, Tsumiki, you've grown quite a bit taller."

Tsuki smiled sheepishly: "By the way, are you looking for Megumi? He's in the backyard."

"Oh, Mr. Shen is here too?"

"Here I am."

Tsuki nodded and pointed towards the backyard: "They're... um, training."

When she said the word "training," her expression was somewhat subtle, as if she didn't know how to describe it.

Tianyan smiled, didn't ask any more questions, changed his shoes, and walked towards the backyard.

Pushing open the glass door to the backyard, the scene before him made him raise an eyebrow slightly.

The backyard wasn't big, with gray cement flooring and a few old tires and some training equipment piled up in the corner.

The sun was shining brightly, illuminating everyone in the courtyard.

The first thing you see is two wolf cubs.

One was pure black, and the other was snow-white. Although they looked young, their size was similar to that of an average medium-sized dog. Their muscles were smooth and powerful, and their fur shone in the sunlight.

Their ears stood straight up, their eyes were fixed on the man in the center of the yard, and they made low, threatening growls.

The black wolf's claws dug white marks in the cement ground, while the white wolf lowered its body slightly, poised to pounce at any moment.

Between the two wolves stood a boy about the same age as Maki and Mai.

With short black hair and delicate features, his serious expression was unlike that of a child his age.

His hands formed a mudra, his fingertips trembled slightly, and a fine layer of sweat appeared on his forehead, but his eyes were firm and he did not flinch in the slightest.

Fukuro Megumi.

His gaze was fixed on the man opposite him, while two wolves circled around him, looking for an opportunity to attack.

Then, the boy and the two wolves moved at the same time.

The black wolf pounced from the left, its mouth wide open, aiming straight for the man's calf, while the white wolf flanked from the right, targeting the man's waist and abdomen.

The boy charged forward head-on, his small fists clenched, aiming straight for the man's face.

Attack from three directions simultaneously.

They worked together seamlessly, without a single unnecessary movement.

The man being besieged yawned.

He was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, his muscles faintly visible beneath the fabric, and a scar on the corner of his mouth added a touch of ferocity to his already somewhat roguish face.

Fu Heishen'er.

He didn't even look at the two wolves.

Just as the black wolf's teeth were about to touch his calf, he slightly shifted his body, like a piece of paper fluttering in the wind, deftly avoiding all the attacks.

The black wolf missed its target, the white wolf's claws grazed the hem of his clothes, and Hui's fist swung past him half an inch away without even touching a hair on his head.

Then, Shen Er raised his hand and casually flicked Hui's head with his finger.

"Too slow."

Fushiguro Megumi, who had been thrown to the ground and rolled around, gritted her teeth and habitually put her fists up and down in a forward stance.

Tianyan instantly sensed an unusual curse power spreading, felt a chill run through his body, his lips twitched, and he immediately coughed.

Fukuro was startled and changed his stance. The two wolves quickly returned to his side and lowered their bodies again.

But Shen Er did not look at them again.

His gaze passed over Hui and the two wolves, landing on Tianyan at the backyard gate, and the corners of his mouth slowly curved into a smile.

"Yo."

His voice was deep and husky, with his usual languidness.

"Long time no see, little skeleton."

Just as Tianyan was about to respond, the scene before him suddenly changed.

Even then, it disappeared.

One second he was standing in the middle of the courtyard, and the next second his figure completely disappeared from Tianyan's sight, without even leaving a trace.

Tianyan's pupils suddenly contracted.

His body reacts faster than his brain.

The power of the spell surged wildly from the vortex, and black iron-colored bone armor instantly covered both arms, spreading from the fingertips all the way to the shoulder blades. The scales were layered and gleamed with a cold, hard luster in the sunlight.

He crossed his arms above his head, as if to block something falling from above.

The next instant, a leg slammed down on his crossed arms.

Tianyan's arms suddenly sank under that kick.

"Snap, snap!"

The sound of the bone armor shattering was crisp and piercing.

The black iron-colored scales covering his arm cracked outwards from the point of impact, the cracks spreading like a spider web, and fragments fell in a flurry.

A tremendous force pressed down on Tianyan's head, causing his knees to bend slightly and fine cracks to appear on the concrete ground beneath his feet.

But he did not fall.

He gritted his teeth, used his arms to push the foot back in place.

Shen Er flipped in the air and landed steadily on the ground, less than three meters away from Tian Yan.

He had his hands in his pockets, tilted his head, and the smile was still on his face.

"Not bad, you actually caught it."

Tianyan took a deep breath, and the bone armor on his arms began to slowly fade away, the shattered scales turning into tiny specks of magical energy that dissipated into the air.

He moved his shoulder to make sure the bone wasn't broken, then bowed slightly to Shen Er, performing the courtesy of a junior to an elder.

"Mr. Shen, it's been a long time."

"I heard your magical power has declined, and you were kicked out."

His tone was so indifferent, as if he were talking about something trivial.

"Looking at it now, it hasn't declined much. Those old guys' minds are still so rigid and outdated."

He paused, the curve of his lips widening, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes.

"Speaking of which, you're the landlord, so as payment for letting us stay here for free..."

"Should I go and kill them all for you?"

As soon as he finished speaking, a suffocating killing intent emanated from Shen Er.

It's not magic, not spells, but a pure aura forged from countless life-and-death battles!

The black wolf and the white wolf simultaneously let out a low growl, pressed their ears to their scalps, and stepped back slightly.

Feeling the murderous aura, Tianyan shook his head helplessly: "Mr. Shen'er, please don't say such terrible things."

He moved his still numb arm, speaking calmly.

"I wasn't kicked out; I just went to a vocational college for further studies."

"Further studies?" Shen Er raised an eyebrow, his murderous aura lessening somewhat, but the mockery in his eyes intensified.

"With Gojo Satoru as a classmate?"

Tianyan nodded.

Shen Er looked at his expression and smiled contemptuously.

Let me guess.

He held up a finger and tapped it in the air.

"Did those old guys send you to spy on Gojo Satoru's weaknesses so you could kill him?"

Tianyan did not answer, but his silence itself was the answer.

He scoffed, "Just as I thought!"

Tianyan didn't want to continue this topic. He turned his head to look at Hui, who was standing in the middle of the courtyard, and then at the two wolves beside him.

"Mr. Shen, why are you training Hui so early?"
