Xu Qingling stood in the middle of the crowd, her voice already hoarse from shouting.

She was a sophomore at Yangzhou University. Last week, while she was in her dorm, a song suddenly came on the radio. As soon as the guzheng (a traditional Chinese zither) intro started, she put down her pen. The song was called "Jiangnan" (South of the Yangtze River). She had never heard this style before; the melody was pop, but the flavor was Eastern.

After listening, she immediately remembered the singer.

She had never heard of the name Song Mo before.

The next day, she searched all the record stores in Yangzhou and finally found the album in a corner of a small shop.

The cover is dark gray and the design is unbelievably simple.

The album features a flamboyant and handsome face. Saying it was love at first sight would be an exaggeration, but upon seeing that face, she was indeed somewhat captivated.

She bought the album and listened to it from the first song to the last. There were twelve songs, each different, but each one was beautiful.

She recommended the album to her roommate. Her roommate was initially uninterested, saying, "What's so great about it? You might as well listen to Jolin Tsai's songs."

She didn't care and kept playing the album on repeat in her dorm room for three days, and her roommate hummed along for three days.

On the fourth day, several roommates went and bought albums.

Now, their entire dormitory is standing here.

After singing his last song, Song Mo bowed to the audience.

The crowd began to surge towards the autograph table, forming a line longer than in any other city in Central China.

Xu Qingling held her roommate's hand and stood in the middle of the line, clutching the album tightly in her hand.

There were still forty or fifty people in front of her. She stood on tiptoe to look ahead and could only see Song Mo with his head down signing autographs. Next to him, a girl wearing a baseball cap and a mask was helping to hand out albums.

It was finally her turn.

She handed him the album and, mustering her courage, said, "I really like your songs. Keep it up!"

Song Mo suddenly realized and said, "I was wondering why this was so strange. So many people came, and quite a few of them were able to sing along."

Bi Xiaoshi laughed as well, "Currently, 'Happy Worship' and 'Jiangnan' are rising very quickly on the Oriental Billboard charts. I feel that it won't be long before they're in the top ten."

Song Mo thought for a moment, then said, "Teacher Bi, could we add more shows in the remaining cities in East China?"

Bi Xiaoshi was taken aback: "Are you sure? Can your body handle it?"

"Of course we can handle it. Now that the opportunity has arrived, we must cherish it," Song Mo said firmly.

Bi Xiaoshi was silent for two seconds, then smiled: "Okay, I'll arrange it."

Suddenly, he remembered something else and said, "Now that the big cities are about to open up, should we still go to other small and medium-sized cities?"

"Go, why not? Big cities have just reopened and need time to return to normal. Let's finish the roadshow in small and medium-sized cities first, and then go back to the big cities," Song Mo said clearly.

"Okay, let's do it this way." Bi Xiaoshi said with a smile, "I can also try to get 'Jiangnan' on CCTV's 'Music Radio'. If we can get on this music show, the popularity will rise even higher."
