Regarding the cultivation system in this book, it was originally based on the Purple Mansion Golden Elixir Dao with some modifications, and the cultivation of qi and nature was expanded upon.

These two are used as the old and new methods to lay the foundation for the worldview.

The setting is the cultivation world after the debate between the old and new Daoist theories.

I originally wanted to move the Five Elements to Foundation Establishment to extend the protagonist's time in Foundation Establishment and create exciting moments.

This leads to the explanation of the origin of the cheat system and the reason why the protagonist was lured to this world.

However, considering that previous writers have already covered all the relevant matters, if one cannot write anything innovative, one will only end up with inferior work.

Therefore, the methods of fetal breathing, qi refining, foundation building, and the Purple Mansion Golden Elixir are not modified much; the focus is only on expanding the path of qi cultivation and self-cultivation.

As for the realm of cultivating one's nature through breath control.

I wrote about the ancient methods of cultivating one's nature, emphasizing the practice of the Tao, while realms and such are not important. I don't think it's necessary to deliberately add realms like hermits or those who drink and eat amidst the clouds.

Without detailed explanations and a complete origin, these realms will not be harmonious.

It is consistent with the realm of the Purple Mansion Golden Elixir Dao; as long as the reader understands it, that's sufficient.

Furthermore, it cannot be said that the Dao of Nourishing Qi and Cultivating Nature is the same as the Dao of the Golden Elixir of the Purple Mansion.

The Dao of Nourishing Life and Cultivating Nature is the predecessor of the latter. The concepts of Qi Refining, Foundation Building, and Purple Mansion have a long history.

It must be that the latter borrowed from the former; the lotus resembles Liu Lang, not the other way around.

One method involves refining one's qi, while the other involves ingesting it.

There are ancient and new methods of Dao foundation, and the same applies to supernatural powers.

As for the Purple Mansion, it will also undergo different changes, which will be described in detail later.
