Huayu09: Starting with Hijacking Xiao Shenyang

The next day.

Chen Mo shook his throbbing head, and before he even opened his eyes, he reached for the headboard.

A familiar cup of warm water sits in the familiar spot.

"Master's wife, I'm going to sleep a little longer."

Chen Mo hummed and hawed.

Yesterday I drank too much alcohol for my master. Even someone as young as me can't handle it. Fortunately, the matter was settled. He's preparing to take the college entrance exam next year, and he needs to register with a high school in advance. The principal of No. 120 Middle School gave him the green light.

Also.

Li Aihua proposed the idea of building a film and television base to Zhao Benshan, but the latter did not agree immediately. Chen Mo did not say anything more, saying that they would talk about it later when there was an opportunity.

"Xiao Mo, Lao Zhang and Lao Liu said they needed to talk to you, but I stopped them. There's some steamed egg custard in the pot; eat it after you wake up."

Ma Lijuan is busy washing clothes.

Chen Mo's clothes were all washed by his teacher's wife. His coats were washed in the washing machine, but his underwear had to be hand-washed. In his teacher's wife's words, the washing machine couldn't get them clean.

"It must be because 'Project Gutenberg' is no longer showing in theaters."

Chen Mo opened his eyes, got up and dressed.

"Sleep a little longer, their business isn't urgent. Sigh, you shouldn't drink too much in the future." Ma Lijuan sat on a small stool with a large red washbasin in front of her and a washboard pressing against her stomach, grumbling as she washed. "It's all Old Zhao's fault. He wouldn't let me drink, so he used you to shield him from the alcohol. I just don't understand, what's so good about that stuff..."

Chen Mo dressed as quickly as possible, covered his ears, and rushed out of the room.

"Hey, hey, you brat, want some chicken cake?"

"I won't eat with Master's wife, I'll just have a jianbing guozi later..."

"This child..."

Chairman's Office.

"Clang clang."

Chen Mo knocked on the door and entered.

"Xiao Mo, get up! Have you had breakfast? Yesterday, the leaders practically treated you like royalty."

Liu Liu made a joke.

"Donating money and promoting the area, no wonder I'm happy. Old man, why are you smoking again?"

Chen Mo frowned slightly, snatched the half-smoked cigarette from his old mentor's mouth, and shoved it into the ashtray.

"Sigh, we almost broke 4 million, what a pity." Zhao Benshan wasn't annoyed, he shook his head and sighed, "Old Zhang, you tell us."

"Okay, brother." Zhang Jiahao nodded. "On October 15th, 'Project Gutenberg' was pulled from theaters early, with a cumulative box office of 3.86 million. Its overseas release was unaffected. It grossed 80.3 million US dollars in North America, and still has potential. It grossed over 51 million in Hong Kong, but its potential has been exhausted..."

"Uncle Zhang, just tell us how much money our company will get."

Chen Mo focused on the key points.

"good…"

Zhang Jiahao nodded and said seriously.

3.86亿(总票房)－【3.86亿×8.3%（营业税及专资费）】×43%（製片方分成比例）＝1.52亿RMB。

This is just the gross profit; the distribution fee from China Film Group needs to be deducted, and 5% of the 15% is borne independently by Benshan Media.

The net profit of the investors was RMB 1.37 million.

With Benshan Media holding a 40% stake plus Chen Mo's 10% stake, they can receive 6850 million yuan, while Chen Mo himself will receive 1370 million yuan.

This is only the domestic box office.

The revenue sharing among production companies varies in different overseas regions. In the North American market, the revenue share gradually decreases from the first week to the second week and then to the third week, with an average share of about 50% (excluding taxes).

Hong Kong also splits the profits roughly 50/50.

The films "Little Ben" and "Korea" were not shown, accounting for 40% to 45% of the total.

Benshan Media has earned US$2000 million in North America and HK$1270 million in Hong Kong with "Project Gutenberg".

Also.

Because "Project Gutenberg" was taken off the screens early, FoxNet offered a very high copyright fee of 500 million RMB.

The sixth princess, 200 million RMB.

Including DVD copyright and related revenue, Benshan Media earned a total of 2.21 million RMB.

Filming for "Project Gutenberg" took place in June and the movie was released in mid-October. In just four and a half months, it earned Zhao a Bombardier Challenger.

This isn't making money, it's outright robbery.

Even robbery wouldn't be this fast.

"call…"

"call…"

When the financial statements were released, the office was filled with gasps of surprise.

Movies earn far more than TV series and variety shows.

Last year, Liu Laogen Grand Stage's total revenue was less than 1 million yuan, and after deducting costs, the profit was even less. Xiao Mo achieved the Grand Stage's KPIs in three months, a feat that would take several years to achieve.

What does it mean to be a sect's holy son?!

"We need to make more movies from now on." Zhao Benshan immediately decided on the company's main focus, and then looked at Liu Liu, "Old Liu, urge China Film Group to make the payment as soon as possible."

Only when the money is in hand can one feel at ease; China Film Group still owes Benshan Media a huge favor.

If you don't mind, this money will be stuck for a long time.

Whether it's a month, six months, or a year, you're still waiting.

Earning interest on other people's money is considered very dishonest in old Beijing slang.

"Okay, big brother."

Liu Liu nodded in agreement.

"Also, transfer Xiao Mo's share to his card as soon as possible."

Zhao Benshan gave another instruction.

"My card is with my teacher's wife. I'll get another card later."

Chen Mo winked at Uncle Zhang.

"Hehe... I know."

Zhang Jiahao smiled knowingly.

"No, Old Ding, what are you doing with those few tattered cards with your teacher's wife? Is someone stealing them or robbing them? Is she your custodian or something?"

Zhao Benshan said something.

"My master's wife said she was saving it for me to find a wife."

Chen Mo, the little bear, shrugged.

"Old Zhang, transfer the money to the original card."

Zhao Benshan immediately changed his tune.

Chen Mo: ? ? ?

……

……

Broadcasting, an office.

"The sky is high, the sea is vast, and the land stretches for ten thousand miles!"

"The spirit of Chinese youth soars!"

"Strive to become a pillar of society!"

"Live up to your youth!!!"

Wang Liguo stared intently at the screen; he had heard of the spirited young man on the main stage long ago.

Zhao Benshan's youngest apprentice, screenwriter and director of "Black Coal, Thin Ice" and "Project Gutenberg," two films, one of which won an award and the other created a box office phenomenon.

Some time ago, a "Peerless City Box Office Competition" was launched, which attracted widespread attention and discussion across the country. The final result far exceeded Wang Liguo's expectations.

all in all.

This is a rare and promising talent.

Both he and those above were observing.

Now it seems unnecessary.

Xiao Mo is incredibly famous now. Look at his expressions and movements when he sings; it's all genuine emotion, without a trace of acting.

Then look at the little flowers of our motherland running freely on the playground, lively, cheerful, and beautiful.

Look, look at that! It was running and half of its butt was showing.

Wang Liguo also smiled like an aunt.

"Old Wang, what do you think?"

Liu Liming asked a question he already knew the answer to.

"Its lofty ideals and far-reaching influence make it a blockbuster masterpiece that guides values. Most importantly, it's authentic! 'The Young China Speaks' must be on this year's Spring Festival Gala. How's the secrecy going?"

Wang Liguo countered with a question.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine."

"Very good, Liaoning Province has done a great job in education. Let's go to Huaxuan and make our big leader happy."

Wang Liguo couldn't wait to get up, and Liu Li followed with a face full of excitement.

Both were of equal rank and concurrently served as deputy governors of Huaxuan.

"A Young Man's Discourse on China" was unsurprisingly sent up the ranks, receiving praise from Fengtian to the provincial government.

As someone once said, only director Chen Mo has captured the vigor and responsibility of the youth of China.

With several months to go before the Spring Festival Gala, this matter should not be publicized, but those in the know are aware that with 2000 million yuan invested in building a school and the "Youthful China Talk" program, Benshan Media has already established its golden reputation.
