Chapter 32 I'm suing you for defamation!

Logan pretended not to notice the black man and continued talking to Claire about the sad topic they had been discussing.

"My mental illness is cured now, so my current plan is to reclaim my rights through legal means."

Logan Stark added in his mind, "It could also be some kind of chaotic approach."

Just then, they happened to pass by the black man.

His peripheral vision remained fixed on it.

"That's a good idea."

Claire agreed, "It's just that hiring a lawyer can cost a lot of money."

Walk about three steps past the black man.

Logan heard a sudden noise behind him.

To the right rear, in the direction of that streetlight.

Without the slightest hesitation.

He grabbed Claire and pulled her to a safe area behind him.

Then, he kicked out a side spinning kick in that direction.

"Thump!"

A figure was sent flying backwards, soaring from beside a street lamp to the middle of the road.

"Clatter".

His pistol fell to the ground from mid-air.

Logan immediately lunged forward, picked up the gun, and grabbed the black man's hands with one hand, dragging him back under the streetlight.

"Fuck! You broke my ribs! Let go of me! Do you know where I work?"

The black man felt a sharp pain in his chest and abdomen, as if his bones were broken, but his hands were locked, so he could only struggle slightly.

"A crippled lackey."

Logan mocked Claire while simultaneously comforting her.

"Don't worry, I have the situation completely under control."

Claire nodded, not too flustered.

After all, familiarity breeds contempt.

Seeing that his threats were ineffective, the black man shouted towards the alleyway to the side:

"Liam! Liam! Where are you?! What the hell have you been doing?"

Logan glanced at the alley entrance but made no move.

"Da da da da"

A cacophony of footsteps echoed through the alley.

Then another black man slowly walked out of the alley, his expression strange, his hands raised.

"Liam!"

The black man saw his savior.

"What are you waiting for! Come save me!"

Liam didn't respond, only giving a constipated, half-smiling look, and continued to move slowly forward.

Behind him was a policeman who had a gun pressed against his back.

"Mission accomplished perfectly. This black guy is hiding next to the trash can, waiting to gang up on you."

Stephen proudly showed off the pistol he had just captured.

"This time I not only brought a handgun, but I also got another one."

His companion was arrested, and the black man stopped struggling, but he hadn't given up yet.

"Officer! I'm just a drunk homeless man, and this guy came up and kicked me. I think I broke my ribs!"

Turning the tables?

"Shut up!"

Steven roared at him,

"Don't talk nonsense to me here. If you have any questions, go to the interrogation room and say them."

"You guys are incredibly stupid! You committed a robbery just a few days ago and now you dare to cause trouble here!"

"I'll send you all to prison, to those men who love men the most."

Upon hearing this, Liam's legs went weak.

"Innocent, sir! That robbery had nothing to do with us! We were just here to warn this man; we didn't intend to do anything."

Stephen picked up the captured pistol and glanced at the magazine.

"It's empty. What about yours?"

Logan glanced at it.

"It's empty too."

"It seems they really just came to warn me."

"Go on!"

Stephen pointed the gun at Liam.

"Shut up! Liam! Our boss... oh... fuck!"

Logan suddenly used all his strength, clamping the black man's hands tightly like a pair of pliers, interrupting him.

"I advise you to shut up, or I'll break another bone in your body."

The results were remarkable, and the black man knew he had both ability and courage.

"Our boss, Teren, let us give him a warning, tell him to stay away from Esme and stop causing trouble..."

Stephen looked over, seemingly wanting an answer.

Logan gave a wry smile:

"My wife's lover."

"Oh my god, brother, if I weren't holding a gun to this black guy right now, I would definitely give you a hug."

Stephen glanced at Claire, who was standing there dumbfounded. "Perhaps this hug should have been given to someone more suitable."

"Luckily we found it early, otherwise you might have been injured."

Stephen and Logan together carried the two mortals through the alley to the police car on the other side, while Claire followed silently behind, lost in thought.

"You're using entrapment! I'm going to sue you!"

That black guy who doesn't call himself Liam is still not well-behaved.

"I'll sue you for defamation! You need evidence to support your claims! I just happened to be passing by after get off work, and I've been doing this for the past few days. This gentleman can prove that."

Stephen was referring to Logan.

"And I am a kind-hearted colleague who escorted a beautiful woman home, and a kind-hearted citizen who helped the police catch two black men who had failed to commit murder. This gentleman can prove it."

Logan refers to Stephen.

Proof of conjugates.

They gave each of the two black men a pair of silver bracelets and then stuffed them into the police car.

Stephen's colleagues' eyes lit up when they saw two black men being caught at once.

Another achievement.

"Here, this is his pistol."

Stephen looked at the pistol being handed to him, somewhat puzzled:

"You happen to be without a gun, right? Take it."

"Is this in accordance with the rules?"

"Heh heh, buddy, that made me laugh."

Stephen patted Logan on the shoulder.

"Don't worry about such trivial details. It's not like it's stolen money. I'll just write in the report that there was only one gun, won't that be enough?"

"Besides, you've already helped me take down three black guys, so I have to repay you in kind."

Stephen knew he should retaliate with a weapon.

"Oh well."

Logan tucked the gun into his waistband.

"Although I might not use this gun much in the future, having it might come in handy."

"Remember to come and get a gun license."

Stephen got into the passenger seat and left the alleyway.

Logan watched the departing policeman, still pondering his character.

"A decent young man who hates evil but has flexible principles?"

"Perhaps he just hates Black people."

Then they took Claire home, and no other black people appeared on the way.

When I arrived at her building and was about to say goodbye, she asked hesitantly:

Do you need a hug?

"Huh? What?"

Logan didn't hear him clearly.

"I mean, do you need me to comfort you with a hug?"

He looked at Claire's face.

That wasn't pity, but a yearning.

She was the one who needed a hug and comfort.

"Okay, thank you."

Logan hugged him, and their bodies pressed tightly together, exchanging a firm yet soft sensation.

"Thank you too."

Claire whispered.

The blissful moment lasted about five minutes before the two parted ways.

As Logan watched Claire go upstairs, he savored the experience he had just had.

"It felt good. If only my gun hadn't been pressed against her waist the whole time."

Of course, it's the pistol Stephen gave me.
