Curse Returns: What did the human-shaped wishing machine do wrong this time?
Chapter 47 Mission
[Weather record for 14:23 on April XX, 4 (Gregorian calendar): Sunny]
Event Summary:
A large-scale riot occurred underground at the Sendai-cho Minami subway station in Miyagi Prefecture. An investigation by [Window] revealed three unregistered remnants of cursed power at the scene.
A large number of banknotes of unknown origin appeared out of thin air, causing widespread traffic paralysis. The incident resulted in 76 deaths and 132 injuries. Among the victims, 42 died in the stampede, 6 in secondary traffic accidents, 2 from asphyxiation, and 26 from a curse cast by one of the curses.
*It is speculated that the battle was a melee between three curse masters/spirits, one of whom cursed and killed 26 ordinary civilians.
*The body of the curse master was not found at the scene, suggesting that the individuals are on the run and the danger level is too high.
*The General Administration plans to send two highly skilled sorcerers, Gojo Satoru and Natsuyu Suguru, to investigate this incident.

The teacher at the vocational college, the first-level sorcerer Yae Masamichi, stood on the podium and flipped his laptop over, showing one unreleased photo after another of the accident scene.
The accident happened too quickly. Although the police arrived at Nagamachi Minami subway station as fast as possible and cordoned off the area, it was too late. Many people had already been caught in the stampede.
After the police mobilized all the city's police force to evacuate all the survivors, there was still a lot of money left at the scene. It took them a long time to clear the subway station blocked by the banknotes that appeared out of nowhere. On the second basement level of the subway station, they found that many people had died from homicide.
Police retrieved the subway station's surveillance footage, only to find that the footage appeared to be affected by an unknown signal, turning into static.
[Window] and the sorcerer who came to help took over the follow-up investigation.
"Huh? Did the curse master deliberately scatter money at the subway station?"
A white-haired boy in a black school uniform stared in astonishment at the photo filled with corpses and piles of banknotes. He gently pulled down the retro round sunglasses perched on his nose, revealing a pair of exceptionally beautiful, pale blue eyes that seemed to stretch out to the sky.
"Wu, now is not the time to be concerned about money, is it?"
Beside him, a black-haired boy with a bun and a strange wisp of bangs hanging down his forehead looked at the dead corpses in the photo with a complicated expression.
The photos they saw were all uncensored; the wounds on those who were tortured to death by the curse masters were far more horrifying than those trampled to death.
"...The source of the money is still under investigation. In short, the higher-ups have sent you to Sendai to investigate this incident and bring the culprit to justice. If you cannot capture him alive, then kill him on the spot."
Moth Masamichi slammed his hand on the podium, making the water glass on it tremble twice.
"Huh? So many people have died, and those rotten oranges' orders were to prioritize capturing them alive?"
Gojo Satoru picked at his ear in disbelief, as if he had heard something he shouldn't have.
"Ms. Nightmoth, doesn't this seem to violate the rules for sorcerers?"
Xia Youjie frowned, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. He couldn't understand why such a vicious curse master would specifically order to be captured alive.
"I'm not entirely sure about that either. Anyway, you guys go and carry out the mission!" Masamichi Noi said, frowning.
"Okay, okay."
The two boys waved and walked out arm in arm.
Behind them, Moth Masakado could faintly hear their discussion.
"Jay, do you think a curse master conjured up so much money out of thin air? Constructing a spell must have required a lot of magical power, right?"
"I don't know, so many lives have been lost just like that..."

Sendai
Are you all idiots?!
Lu Suo couldn't hold back any longer and roared at Rimei over the phone; he was now completely unable to maintain his millennia-old composure.
Only a few days have passed, and such a big news story has broken.
With such a large sum of money involved and a stampede, the news has now reached Japan, and even American television stations have reported on Sendai.
Why has Rime only grown older and not smarter over the years? Does Ryoumen Sukuna only choose his subordinates based on their looks and not their intelligence?
Lu Suo is truly speechless.
"What can we do now that things have come to this?!"
Rimei rolled her eyes on the other end of the phone, seemingly resigned to her fate.
Who knows how someone from the three starter families like Fukushige could be so greedy? Just thinking about the next person Alluka would force upon him gives him a headache. How much would that cost? Just thinking about it makes him feel terrible.
"The higher-ups have already sent Gojo Satoru and Natsuyu Kei to Sendai. You two should go out and lay low for a while."
At the same time as Rime, Luso also considered the cost of choosing the next candidate.
The first reason Lonso kept Alluka was that he couldn't kill the child.
Killing Alluka would cause the thing inside him to go berserk, and Rōsō had already learned his lesson once and didn't want to suffer the same fate a second time.
The second reason is that some of his goals might require Alluka's help to achieve. Who would have thought that this child is a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any moment, and impossible to hide.
"Okay, I understand."
After responding, Li Mei hung up the phone.
Alluka and Hisahito are currently sitting in the living room reading picture books. Itadori Yasuke has clearly sensed something, as he always seems hesitant to speak these past two days. Rime coldly ignores him.
"This is a dinosaur—a Tyrannosaurus Rex, it can be over ten meters long..."
Yasuyuki Itadori pointed to the pictures in the picture book in his hand and patiently taught the children.
"Grandpa, can my sister conjure up a dinosaur?"
Yujin asked, looking a little silly, as he gnawed on his fingers.
Boys are naturally interested in things like dinosaurs, Ultraman, and Superman, and they still have some small toys at home that they bought from the supermarket.
Hisahito Itadori, with a hint of curiosity in his young mind, wondered what real dinosaurs looked like.
"No, you don't want to see real dinosaurs."
When Yasuke Itadori heard Hisahito's dangerous words, he was shocked. He only felt relieved after carefully seeing that Alluka had not changed.
Other kids can just look at toy dinosaurs if they want to see them, but this brat wants to see the real thing.
To this day, Itadori Yasuke still feels guilty about those who died mysteriously.
He couldn't even imagine the dangerous scene that would unfold if a dinosaur actually broke through his house and rushed into the street.
At that moment, Itadori Yasusuke really wanted to slap himself. He shouldn't have shown them the dinosaur picture book; he should have shown them the picture books of Flower Fairy and Sailor Moon instead.
"Does your brother really like dinosaurs?"
Alluka put down the colorful ball in her hand and looked curiously at Hisahito Itadori with her round eyes.
"No...no."
Yuji Itadori secretly glanced at his grandfather and saw that he was sweating profusely. Yuji decided it was best not to reveal his true thoughts.
Grandpa doesn't seem to want to see a real dinosaur!
Then he doesn't want to watch anymore!
The dead uncle that day left a deep impression on Yujin, but when he came back, his grandfather said that they were playing a game. Yujin nodded, seemingly understanding.
Children always have a lot of energy. After Rime finished her phone call and started talking, Hisahito's attention was no longer on the picture book.
