The air has changed.

The air within a half-meter radius around Qin Meng's right fist began to emit an extremely sharp and continuous popping sound.

That wasn't the sound of the wind.

It is the physical noise produced when air molecules are forcibly pushed away from their original positions under extreme pressure.

The third apostle stopped in his tracks.

Those two dark red vertical pupils suddenly contracted.

The survival instinct deep within the mutant cells is frantically sounding the alarm. Every gene chain is screaming the same message.

Danger.

This is not an ordinary danger.

It was an absolute level of death threat that he had never felt in his long life of soaking in the blood pool for three years and devouring sixty-three hearts.

The Third Apostle crossed all four of his arms in front of his chest.

All the patterns on the dark purple carapace were illuminated to the extreme.

The remaining blood pool energy was squeezed to its last drop and poured into the carapace defense layer.

That's too late.

Qin Meng threw a punch.

The simplest straight punch.

The moment the fist was thrust forward, the air in front of the right fist was sucked dry, crushed, and compressed to the extreme by the absolute power of 194 points of physique.

Derivative trait: Punch Wind.

A white, solidified high-pressure column of air shot out from the front of the fist.

It was over three meters in diameter. Thicker, faster, and more deadly than the punch he delivered when he blasted the blood bats in the meatpacking plant.

A sonic boom exploded across the wilderness. The ground within a radius of 100 meters was completely ripped away by the blast wave.

Soil, gravel, and withered grass were reduced to dust in the shockwave.

A white column of air, three meters in diameter, traveled a distance of twenty meters at several times the speed of sound.

0.03 seconds.

The column of air collided with the Third Apostle's four crossed arms defense.

The dark purple new carapace, that biological armor that had undergone transformation, doubled in thickness, and been infused to its limit with blood pool energy, did not provide even a fraction of a second of resistance upon contact with the column of air.

The shell is crushed.

All four arms were shattered.

Five bones and horns were shattered.

The massive 3.5-meter-tall body was pierced through from front to back within the column of air.

Dark purple carapace fragments, bone powder, and mutated bodily fluids, mixed with four rows of fangs and skull remnants, coalesced into a fine, dark red blood mist at the tail end of the air column, which was then sprayed backward at high speed.

The momentum of the air column did not diminish.

After piercing through the Third Apostle's body, the white, high-pressure column continued to extend forward.

Directly ahead, there are the remains of the blasted-open mound.

The air column passed three meters past the pit at the top of the mound without touching the passage leading underground.

Keep going.

The air column struck a concrete wall of an abandoned military zone fifty meters away.

The three-meter-thick reinforced concrete was directly penetrated at the physical level.

A huge circular hole with a diameter of more than four meters was blasted open in the center of the wall.

Gravel and steel bars were sprayed hundreds of meters backward.

The residual kinetic energy of the air column plowed a deep trench two hundred meters long in the wilderness behind the wall.

The soil on both sides of the gully was turned up high and slowly collapsed in the morning light.

Everything fell silent.

White steam slowly drifted from the surface of Qin Meng's right fist.

The dark gold fingers loosened one by one.

Where the Third Apostle stood, there was nothing left.

The 3.5-meter-tall, sixth-order fully evolved mutant was completely vaporized within that column of energy.

Only a small patch of scorched soil at your feet proves that a creature did indeed stand in that spot just now.

Fine concrete dust was still falling from the edge of the breach in the wall in the distance.

The upper right corner of the retina.

A blood-red system notification box lit up.

[Slayed a Tier 6 fully evolved mutated monster, Berserk Value +12000]

The ferocity value gained from killing a Tier 6 mutant increased by a factor of two.

Qin Meng looked down at his left abdomen.

The wound has completely closed.

The newly formed dark golden skin was smooth and even, without even a scar.

The orange-red dawn light on the eastern horizon crossed the horizon, illuminating the entire wilderness.

A very faint sound came from the pit beneath our feet that led to the underground air-raid shelter.

The sound of a child crying.

The sound of crying came from deep within the pit.

It was intermittent. She had cried until she was completely exhausted and could barely make a sound.

Qin Meng glanced down at his right fist.

White steam still wafted from his fist. From shoulder to wrist, every muscle in his right arm throbbed with a dull, aching pain. This was the price of the punch. The inevitable reaction after all his strength was depleted.

He flexed his right fingers.

It can still move. It's just a beat slower.

enough.

Qin Meng walked back to the edge of the pit, grabbed the rock on the cave wall with one hand, and went down the path he had blasted out.

Even after they went down, a strong, pungent stench lingered in the air-raid shelter. The blood pool was empty, leaving only a layer of dried, dark red crystals at the bottom. The three iron cages had been pushed to the corner by the blast wave, their bodies severely deformed, and several iron bars bent inwards, trapping the children inside.

Qin Meng walked up to the first cage.

He gripped the bent iron railing with his left hand and pried it outwards.

Click.

The steel railing was snapped in two. Qin Meng folded the broken edge outwards, creating a gap large enough for a person to crawl through.

There was no movement in the cage.

He bent down and looked inside. Five children, all huddled in the corner, eyes open but unfocused.

"come out."

No one moved.

Qin Meng didn't repeat himself. He reached in, gently grabbed the wrist of the nearest boy, and pulled him out. The boy's body stiffened, and after being dragged out of the cage, his legs went weak, and he knelt directly on the ground.

Qin Meng grabbed him by the armpits and helped him up.

The boy finally raised his head.

I saw Qin Meng's face.

Then he saw the empty blood pool behind Qin Meng, and the headless corpse of the Fifth Apostle drying up beside the blood pool.

The boy didn't scream. His throat moved, but he swallowed the scream back.

Qin Meng put him aside and turned to open the second cage.

The third cage was the most difficult to deal with. Nearly a third of the cage was dented, and the two main load-bearing bars were jammed together. Inside were four children, one of whom was the disabled little girl.

Qin Meng squatted down and gripped the two intersecting railings with both hands.

Apply force slowly.

The two steel railings were pried apart bit by bit in his palm, making a low metallic stretching sound, and finally broke at the intersection, flying out and smashing into the opposite wall.

Qin Meng carried the little girl out.

She was lighter than he had expected. She was so thin that her ribs were clearly visible under her thin clothes. When he picked her up, she didn't react at all, her head resting on Qin Meng's shoulder, her eyes half-closed.

He was still breathing. Faint, but there was.

Qin Meng put her down on the ground and made her sit against the wall.

I took inventory once.

Twenty-three children. Seventeen are alive, four of whom are unconscious.

Six are gone.

Qin Meng stood in the air-raid shelter for about three seconds.

In those three seconds, he solved a very simple math problem.

The Third Apostle is a sixth-order complete entity.

He killed him with a single punch.

My right arm remained stiff for nearly thirty seconds.

The head of the Zhao family is at least at the seventh level.

He doesn't yet have a sufficient frame of reference to understand what the seventh rank means.

But one thing is certain: if the seventh-tier defense is a level higher than the sixth-tier defense, then his punch might not even be able to break through the defense.

Not to mention the things behind the Zhao family that he hadn't yet figured out.

One hundred and ninety-four points of physical strength.

not enough.

Far from it.
