Peninsula: My mentor Kim Tae-yeon

Chapter 48 Summer and Autumn

"Huh?" Liz was stunned by Su Xia's "startling words".

"Don't misunderstand. If you have a male relative, I will be careful to keep my distance during the live stream to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings that might affect your relationship. I will also keep this matter strictly confidential," Su Xia explained.

"No one would believe your explanation!" Kim Tae-yeon couldn't help but complain. Would anyone really believe such a ridiculous explanation?

"Oh, I see." Liz suddenly realized, and the shock on her face faded away like the tide.

Kim Tae-yeon: "?"

Not a girl.

You actually believe that?

When you get old, I'll definitely sell you health supplements!

"I don't have a male relative, so I'll do my best to cooperate with the live stream," Liz said with a smile.

Her nonchalant demeanor clearly shows that she doesn't have a boyfriend.

"Okay," Su Xia replied cheerfully, "Shall we continue?"

"OK."

A new round of practice began, but the atmosphere between the two seemed to have changed slightly compared to the previous round.

They practiced until almost six o'clock before ending their first meeting of the day. Both of them were covered in sweat and needed to go back to wash up, as they had dinner together that evening.

"Then I'll head back to the hotel first," Su Xia said, waving to Liz.

"Okay, goodbye." Liz smiled and waved.

Su Xia opened the door and went out, leaving Liz alone in the practice room.

After watching Su Xia leave, Liz rubbed her face and muttered something under her breath.

"Who would believe that kind of explanation?"

"However..." Liz then smiled, "Su Xia seems to be a pretty nice person."

Upon hearing this, Mou Yan left with a satisfied expression.

"Where have you been?" Su Xia asked, puzzled, looking at Kim Tae-yeon who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"None of your business!" Kim Tae-yeon said irritably.

"What's wrong with you? I didn't do anything to you, did I?" Su Xia asked, bewildered. What was going on with that tone?

"You're in my way."

"Hey, what am I supposed to do?" Su Xia's eyes widened. "So I'll jump down from here now, so I won't get in your way?"

"Then let's not." Kim Tae-yeon shook her head decisively. "What if you die, and I die too?"

"Then consider it a double suicide," Su Xia replied instantly.

"I wouldn't even commit suicide with you." Kim Tae-yeon rolled her eyes. What the hell is this about committing suicide?

"With whom, Baekhyun?"

"Get out of here, you bastard!" Kim Tae-yeon exclaimed angrily.

"I can leave, but don't follow me."

"I'd never want to follow you! But what can I do?"

"Then shut up."

"How dare you talk to a teacher like that? So disrespectful!"

"Have you finally accepted the fact that you're an old man?"

"You're going to die!"

Su Xia and Kim Tae-yeon walked and talked at each other, something they took for granted, completely unaware that to others their situation looked like...

"Schizophrenia?"

The three floors above ground of the CJ Entertainment Building house artist practice rooms and professional dance and vocal practice rooms. Su Xia and Liz were just in the vocal practice room, which has better soundproofing and is fully equipped.

Next to the vocal practice room is the IVE practice room.

The girl wore a pure white sleeveless vest, a simple and fitted style that accentuated her shoulder and neck lines, giving her a refreshing and casual look.

Her long, wavy hair, dyed light brown, was smooth and naturally voluminous. The cool-toned yet bright hair color contrasted sharply with her fair skin, making her complexion appear even more radiant.

With a smooth oval face, delicate and petite features, a high nose bridge, and full lips, her overall features exude a fresh and sweet temperament. The cool-toned hair color adds a touch of aloofness to her, creating a striking blend of sweet and cool styles.

At this moment, her gaze was fixed on Su Xia, who was walking towards the elevator while muttering to herself.

She could see clearly that the person wasn't wearing headphones.

He's talking to himself without headphones, as if he's having a conversation with someone?

Jin Qiutian's eyes flashed. Could this person be the foreign influencer who collaborated with Liz?

I glanced at the vocal practice room next door, hesitated for a moment, and turned my steps toward the elevator to head toward the vocal practice room instead.

Pushing open the door to the practice room, Jin Qiutian immediately saw Liz packing her things.

Hearing the sound, Liz turned around and saw Jin Qiutian.

"Unnie," Liz called out with a smile.

"Has Su Xia left?" Jin Qiutian walked over and asked.

"Yes, they just left a few minutes ago."

"There was a tall, handsome guy who just walked by, wearing a white MLB short-sleeved shirt?" Jin Qiutian described Su Xia's clothing and appearance.

"Yes, Unnie saw him?" Liz said in surprise.

"It's very conspicuous. He's talking to himself, like a mental patient," Jin Qiutian complained.

"Huh? Really?" Liz was stunned. Why did she feel like the person Jin Qiutian was talking about wasn't the same person she knew?

"You've been here all afternoon, how's it going?" Jin Qiutian didn't dwell on the question; she simply made a casual remark.

"Su Xia is a really nice person. She not only taught me vocal techniques, but also helped me analyze my shortcomings," Liz said happily.

Jin Qiutian looked at Liz with a suspicious gaze.

"Want me to teach you vocal music?"

"Yes!" Liz, oblivious to the change in her unnie's expression, continued enthusiastically, "I mentioned to him that our company doesn't have a vocal coach, and he offered to teach me. I was originally going to pay him, but he said we're friends and should help each other out."

Jin Qiutian looked speechless.

"What kind of friend is he? He's obviously interested in you."

"I know," Liz said with a smile.

Golden Autumn: "?"

"You knew and still accepted it?" Jin Qiutian's suspicion deepened. Liz wasn't the type to keep fish.

"Because I don't dislike him." Liz gave a sweet smile, her beautiful dimples catching Jin Qiutian's eye and making her feel as if she had been struck by lightning.

"You just said last month that you didn't want to be in a relationship," Jin Qiutian said, puzzled. "Did you change your mind so quickly?"

"I just want to try getting to know each other as friends, not as lovers," Liz explained.

Jin Qiutian had a "you're kidding me" expression on her face.

"That's what everyone in the industry says before they start dating."

"I'm serious." Liz was a little amused and exasperated when she saw that her sister didn't believe her. She did have a good impression of Su Xia, but it wasn't like she fell in love at first sight. She wanted to date him after only knowing him for half a day.

"I'm serious," Jin Qiutian said earnestly. "If you really don't want to be in a relationship, you'll end up like Yuan Ying, who doesn't even interact with male celebrities in private."

"Yuan Ying's approach is too extreme..." Liz chuckled awkwardly.

There are very few idols in the entire industry who can reach the level of Jang Won-young; she is truly the embodiment of extreme self-discipline.

Jin Qiutian didn't say anything more, but just stared at Liz with a gaze that made her feel uneasy.

"Oh my, unnie~" Liz couldn't stand being stared at anymore, "I'll remember that."
