Peninsula: My mentor Kim Tae-yeon

Chapter 1 A Strange First Encounter

in the apartment.

The bright incandescent light illuminated the living room, and Su Xia stared blankly at the strange woman in front of her.

Her skin was fair with a rosy glow, her cheeks had a faint blush, and her eyes were bright and lively, exuding a mature and sophisticated aura unique to adult women.

Her long, black, curly hair was fluffy and layered, falling naturally over her shoulders, and the curves of her hair made her face shape look exceptionally soft.

She was wearing a black square-neck cropped top, paired with a black lightweight jacket with a strong sense of design. The jacket was adorned with tiny silver studs and simple patterns, which were not overly flashy but had a lot of detail.

The black midi skirt completes the look with a simple yet stylish black and white color scheme. The silver hoop earrings add detail to the overall outfit, perfectly capturing the sweet and cool vibe.

To be honest, this was the first time Su Xia had ever seen such a beautiful woman in real life; she looked like a movie star.

But the problem is...

Su Xia looked back at the living room.

It's definitely my own home.

Immortal jump?

No, these days, has the honey trap evolved to the point of forcibly buying and selling goods at someone's home?

Family members, you're being a bit too modern.

"Hello, I'm Kim Tae-yeon."

Just as Su Xia was lost in thought, the woman opposite her spoke.

"A foreigner?" Su Xia was taken aback and looked at the woman named Kim Tae-yeon with surprise.

Are there more experts?

"Yes, I am from the Korean Peninsula." Kim Tae-yeon nodded calmly. "It may be hard to believe, but my current situation is rather special. No one else can see me except you."

A question mark appeared on Su Xia's forehead.

What are you cosplaying as?

Su Xia readily took out her phone, picked up the camera, and pointed it at Kim Tae-yeon.

then……

Su Xia felt a chill run down her spine.

The woman stood there quietly looking at him, but there was nothing in the phone camera lens!

Su Xia's hand could still be seen normally when it was put into the camera, but this figure seemed to not exist in this world!

Across from her, Kim Tae-yeon watched quietly as Su Xia's expression shifted from wariness to fear.

She was even prepared for Su Xia to scream.

But she soon realized something was wrong.

Why is this person's gaze starting to change...?

Swish!

Su Xia suddenly appeared in front of Kim Tae-yeon. Even though Kim Tae-yeon was in a special state at the moment, she was still startled by Su Xia's sudden appearance.

Not only were they not afraid, but they even moved closer to me?

Su Xia looked at Kim Tae-yeon with great interest, her eyes brimming with excitement, and asked, "When did you die?"

Kim Tae-yeon's calm expression shattered instantly, and she looked helplessly at Su Xia.

"I didn't die, but for some unknown reason, I was forced to stay by your side."

"Not dead?" Su Xia's excited expression froze instantly. "That means you don't know whether a person becomes a ghost after death."

Kim Taeyeon nodded.

"Tch." Su Xia scoffed regretfully, "I was thinking of dying sooner and becoming a ghost to travel around for free."

Kim Tae-yeon: "..."

What a bizarre thought process!

"Can I touch you?" Su Xia stopped in front of Kim Tae-yeon and asked curiously.

I can't feel any body temperature.

"No." Kim Tae-yeon stepped forward, her entire being... her entire soul passed directly through Su Xia's body.

Su Xia turned around and looked at Kim Tae-yeon with considerable regret.

Kim Tae-yeon: "?"

"You seem to be thinking about something very rude," Kim Tae-yeon said quietly, her eyes narrowed.

"As a man who has watched A Chinese Ghost Story since I was a child, it's hard not to have some strange thoughts when I see a beautiful female ghost like you."

"I'm not a ghost, I'm not dead yet," Kim Tae-yeon emphasized.

"Okay, okay, okay." Su Xia nodded perfunctorily. "Since you don't have a physical form and others can't see you, why are you following me?"

"If you make physical contact with my real self, I can go back," Kim Tae-yeon said seriously, stating her request.

"Oh, so where are you?" Su Xia nodded and asked casually.

"have no idea."

Su Xia: "?"

When I type this question mark, it's not that I think there's something wrong with me, it's that you have a really big problem!

"Don't you know where you are?"

"I don't belong to your world," Kim Tae-yeon said with a wry smile. "The me in your world and the me in front of you are not the same person."

"Parallel worlds?" Su Xia raised an eyebrow. "Then can you be attracted to each other? Like Stand users?"

"No." Kim Tae-yeon shook her head again.

"Then there's nothing I can do, I can't help you." Su Xia shrugged. "There are over 50 million people on the peninsula. You expect me to find you among so many people? You might as well spend your life with me."

Kim Tae-yeon's lips twitched slightly. What kind of good person would want to spend their whole life with a stranger? Even if Su Xia is good-looking, that can't be a reason.

"I'm an artist; you might be able to find relevant information about me online."

"You really are a celebrity." Su Xia was a little surprised and immediately sat down at the computer desk, waking up the computer from its sleep state.

"Just search for taeyeon." Kim Tae-yeon's voice came from behind, spelling out her English name for Su Xia.

"Your Chinese is pretty good," Su Xia said as she typed.

"I've been trapped here for over a year," Kim Tae-yeon said calmly.

Su Xia paused, then turned to look at Kim Tae-yeon.

"So you've been stalking me for a year?"

Kim Tae-yeon's eye twitched slightly; this guy's choice of words was really...

"I'm just observing."

"You peeping tom!" Su Xia suddenly flew into a rage, standing up abruptly and glaring angrily at Kim Tae-yeon.

But in Kim Tae-yeon's eyes, it was less anger and more a breakdown after her secret was discovered.

"Sorry, I don't want to watch it either."

Kim Tae-yeon looked apologetic, but Su Xia clearly saw a smile in her eyes!

Su Xia cried.

He wanted to call the police!

Are there any Black and White Impermanence here? Hurry up and take this woman away, waaaaah...

sad!

The pilot crashed!

Su Xia, her face flushed and already trembling with fever, looked at the page displaying the data to try and distract herself from her embarrassment.

Kim Tae-yeon looked at her photo from 15 on the encyclopedia page, a look of reminiscence appearing in her eyes.

Time... flies by so fast.

Just as Kim Tae-yeon was reminiscing about the past, Su Xia looked back at Kim Tae-yeon, and then at the smiling "Kim Tae-yeon" on the webpage.

"Hey! You peeping tom! How come you're not as pretty as her?"

Upon hearing this, Kim Tae-yeon, who was lost in her memories, froze and spoke up to defend herself.

"This photo is from 2015!"

"Oh." Su Xia nodded in realization, "So it's Old Deng's version."

Kim Tae-yeon: "???"
