The Reincarnation Journey of an Minecraft Player

Chapter 74 The Story of the Whale

"Fishing up an enchanted rod with an enchanted rod is fine, I guess."

Gao Ge glanced at the newly added Sea's Blessing II enchanted fishing rod in his backpack and sighed softly.

It wasn't that easy, after all, Minecraft's fishing mechanism is different from Terraria's, there's no setting to fish up treasure chests.

However, fishing for enchanted books is not a bad idea, since he currently lacks a stable source of lapis lazuli.

The waves gradually calmed down, and the dark clouds in the sky completely disappeared the moment we entered the Grand Line. Looking back, there was a clean and crisp dividing line.

It's as if an invisible force separates the Grand Line from the weather in the Calm Belt.

Gao Ge put away his fishing rod, reminiscing about the storyline related to the Grand Line.

A strange "boo-ooh-ooh-ooh" chirping sound echoed in my ears.

"Is that the sound of the wind? No, I remember now!"

As Gao Ge looked up, he saw a magnificent, deep blue mountain standing directly in front of the Going Merry, and the sound was coming from the mountain.

"That's impossible! After the Twin Gorges, there should be an endless ocean!"

Nami looked at the sea chart, her face full of doubt.

"It's not a mountain, it's a whale!"

Gao Ge quickly said, "A whale that longs to find its companions."

Upon closer inspection, the whale's outline, exaggerated mouth, and enormous, star-like pupils can indeed be clearly seen.

"Wow—it's huge! Is this guy a sea king too?"

Gao Ge was also deeply moved by what he saw.

Island whale – Laboon.

The largest blue whale on Earth is over thirty meters long, already a colossal creature. This enormous whale, however, is estimated to be at least four hundred meters long.

"It's hard to imagine how incredibly dense the muscles and bones must be to support such a massive body... and the same goes for the sea kings in the Calm Belt."

Looking at Lab's health bar, Gao Ge sighed.

This giant creature has an exaggerated amount of blood, far exceeding that of the mithril or even adamantite of Arlinge, but its oppressive power is not as strong.

In the absurd world of One Piece, judging strength by maximum health points doesn't seem to be accurate.

Luffy's eyes lit up. Although Laboon was large, it wasn't as exaggerated as a Sea King that could cause such despair.

He was getting restless.

"Should we fight?!"

"What the hell are you doing, hitting me on the head?! Are you an idiot?!"

Seeing Luffy preparing to throw a punch, Zoro, Nami, and the others almost burst into tears.

Even Gao Ge was taken aback by Luffy's fierce spirit. Saying that Laboon wasn't strong enough was only in comparison; his size was more than enough to defeat them.

"Of course I'm not going to fight! Listen to me, okay?"

After listening to Gao Ge's words, Luffy blinked and asked,

"Which sentence? The whale looking for its pod? Did it stray from the group?"

"...It's my fault for not explaining clearly."

Gao Ge gestured to stop the boat near Labu, pointing to its back. There, a very obvious metal door stood.

Glancing at Laboon and then at the Going Merry beneath his feet, Gao Ge was a little conflicted.

Knowing the plot well, he naturally understood that there was something hidden inside Laboon's body. By going through the metal door on his back or directly to his stomach through his mouth, he could encounter the whaler, Crocus.

But faced with this behemoth, if you asked everyone to drive their boats into its mouth, probably no one would be willing.

Go through the metal door; if Labs goes berserk, he could turn the Going Merry to pieces in one fell swoop.

Labu has started to get restless, and the timing of Gao Ge and his group's arrival here was not very good.

Normally, Laboon lives on the seabed. When it surfaces and makes a call, there is only one possibility.

He tried to carve a path through the red earth to find the partner with whom he made a promise 28 years ago.

The sea began to churn once again.

"Hey, this doesn't look good. This big guy looks like he's about to go berserk!"

Lab opened its mouth wide and let out a loud cry.

Seawater rushed in wildly through its mouth, like a giant whirlpool in the ocean.

There's no other choice now. Unless the Straw Hat crew can carry the ship and run away, there's only one way to avoid Laboon's attack.

"Now! Charge into its mouth!!"

"ha?!"

"Don't ask, just trust me!"

At this point, you have no choice but to believe it, since there's no escaping it anyway.

Along with the seawater, the Going Merry moved forward with the current. After an unknown amount of time, the darkness was broken by a glimmer of light, and the current became calm.

There's a small island inside Raab's stomach!

The stomach walls were painted the color of the sky, and searchlights illuminated the stomach space brightly.

The island is small, with a coconut tree, a house, and a small yard.

As if they had heard some noise, rustling sounds came from inside the house.

The people on the boat swallowed hard, staring incredulously at the scene before them.

"Am I dreaming? There's an island inside a whale's belly?!"

"As expected of the Grand Line..."

This is just at the entrance; it's really exciting to see what will happen on the rest of the route.

After the initial shock subsided, Nami was the first to recover.

"We're currently in the stomach of a whale, meaning the Merry is actually floating on stomach acid?"

Nami looked at Gao Ge, who quickly nodded in agreement.

"That's right, but don't rush. We can get out from there after this wave of frenzy ends."

Following the direction Gao Ge pointed, you can see a heavy metal door.

Compared to the small door on the back, this door is clearly for ships to enter and exit.

"Young people seem to understand things very well. Did those people who are trying to filibuster tell you that?"

An old man with strange flowers growing on his head walked out of the house, holding a harpoon in his hand.

"My Devil Fruit ability is amazing; it allows me to know many things that have happened or haven't happened."

Gao Ge said casually, and Zoro's gaze immediately fell upon him.

Aren't you a user of the Cube-Cube Fruit? How are cubes and information connected?

Krocas raised an eyebrow, and asked with considerable interest,

"Then tell me, what do you think will happen to Raab in the future?"

"You'll make new friends and reunite with his old friends."

Gao Ge's words were somewhat ambiguous, but Krocas, who knew the cause and effect, could connect them to the correct answer, and even think of more.

Luffy, Nami, and the others stared at each other, somewhat unable to bear the riddle-like behavior between Koga and Crocus.

Without further cryptic remarks, Gao Ge simply recounted the story of Laboon the whale.

"As social creatures, the island whales became companions with the pirates, but because the Grand Line was too dangerous, the pirates left it here and promised to meet again in three years."

"It's a pity that they were gone for fifty years and never came back."

Feeling the tremors all around, his stomach churned; the whale Laboon had begun crashing into the red earth once more.

Luffy thought about what Gao Ge had just said, "So they'll come back, right?"

Gao Ge chuckled and said, "Of course, a certain musician with an afro is already on his way!"
