Douluo's Blue Silver Family

Chapter 298 Zhuofeng

Chapter 298 Zhuofeng

After staying in Jin for some time, Yuan Changqing prepared to take his parents to Tai Xuan Sect.

So, after making the decision, Yuan Changqing and his family came to a city near Tai Xuanmen and found a place to stay.

Although Yuan Changqing wanted his parents to join the Tai Xuan Sect, he couldn't just rush off like that.

Yuan Changqing wanted Yuan Dongfang and Jiang Fen to become disciples of Zhuofeng of the Tai Xuan Sect, not only because Zhuofeng possessed the secret of the character "Jie".

This secret technique can amplify one's combat power, speed, primordial spirit, and everything else useful tenfold, making it incredibly powerful.

Of course, every advantage has its disadvantages, and the disadvantage of the All Character Secret is that the activation rate is not high, making it useless for characters in the Eight Forbidden Realms because it cannot be activated.

Unless one falls into the Eight Forbidden Zones or enters the Divine Forbidden Zone, the former is meaningless and the latter is very difficult, requiring the level of a young Great Emperor to have the opportunity. Therefore, unless one encounters an extraordinary person, the All-Word Secret is actually very friendly to ordinary cultivators.

In the mythical era, many emperors coexisted, and powerful figures in the cultivation world emerged, ushering in a so-called golden age. Only nine people reached the pinnacle in a certain field, with strength far surpassing that of ordinary ancient emperors, and were collectively revered as the Nine Heavenly Venerables of the mythical era.

However, even the most prosperous cultivation world has its drawbacks. The source of longevity is abundant, making it difficult for even ancient emperors to live a second life, as are the nine great celestial beings.

However, the last of the Nine Heavenly Venerables defied the heavens and lived a second life, calling himself "Emperor Venerable" and being hailed as the supreme emperor among emperors, far surpassing all previous Heavenly Venerable Emperors.

He is the creator of the supreme "All Words Secret". Although it is profound and difficult, it is not long. It consists of only one text that can be continuously activated. Once triggered, it can produce unimaginable changes, instantly making oneself ten times stronger. It cannot be explained by reason. It is a transformation that turns decay into magic.

Rather, the "All" secret technique, though extremely difficult to trigger, is a supreme treasure, far surpassing the forbidden methods on the last page of the "Imperial Path Scripture" of ancient emperors throughout history.

The "All" Secret Technique is a heaven-defying secret art. Although it is difficult to use and has too many restrictions, once it is used, it is only effective when a cultivator at the sixth level of the Quasi-Emperor realm is combined with the Divine Forbidden Domain.

In this way, a wisp of imperial pressure can be unleashed, breaking through the rules that restrict various methods from entering the Great Emperor's domain, displaying the aura of an ancient emperor, which is an unparalleled secret technique.

In the original work, the Holy Body Ye Fan's greatest reliance in conquering the ancient emperors and supreme beings in the forbidden zones in the later stages was also the strongest means for him to kill supreme beings who had reached the ultimate sublimation.

At that time, Ye Fan relied on his cultivation at the sixth level of Quasi-Emperor to successfully trigger the "All-Encompassing Secret" in the Divine Forbidden Domain, and the combination of the two improved his physical qualities in all aspects.

Whether it was combat power, speed, or primordial spirit, everything was directly elevated tenfold, causing Ye Fan, who was only at the sixth level of the Quasi-Emperor realm, to unleash wisps of the aura of an ancient emperor, making him incredibly powerful.

As one of the nine secrets of Taoism, the "All" character secret is said to increase the success rate of triggering a 10% chance of success when all nine secrets are collected.

As your cultivation level increases, the chance of triggering the effect will also increase significantly. Once triggered, it can amplify your combat power tenfold in all aspects, as if you have stepped into the forbidden realm of gods. The forbidden realm is invincible, and with this one technique, you can be invincible in heaven and earth.

This is only one reason. Another reason is that Zhuofeng currently only has one peak master, Li Ruoyu. After joining Zhuofeng, there will be fewer disputes and troubles, unlike the other main peaks of Taixuan Sect, which have many disciples.

Therefore, Yuan Changqing planned to visit the Tai Xuan Sect's Zhuofeng Peak in advance to avoid being presumptuous.

Moreover, Li Ruoyu is no simple person. He was the only disciple and elder of the Zhuofeng lineage of the Taixuan Sect. He was of low talent but was able to comprehend the Great Dao of Nature.

Later, Ye Fan's classmate Zhang Wenchang became his disciple. After Ye Fan was injured while attempting to break through the Four Extremes, Li Ruoyu originally wanted him to stay at Zhuofeng, but after being refused, he accepted Ye Fan's classmate Zhang Wenchang as his disciple.

Although Li Ruoyu was not naturally gifted, he had great perseverance and eventually achieved great success late in life, becoming an emperor and ascending to immortality together with Ye Fan's Heavenly Court.

In fact, Li Ruoyu is also an existence that very few people throughout history can compare to, although his talent may be very weak.

However, his great wisdom and perseverance are unmatched. After all, he is a person who believes in the simplest way of life. He achieved the Great Dao through the most down-to-earth cultivation. Although he is very ordinary, no one dares to underestimate him.

Moreover, Li Ruoyu also guided Ye Fan, leading him to perfection in his cultivation path.

Because Ye Fan possesses the Ancient Sacred Body, his Dao is too powerful and fierce, requiring a balance point—a harmony of strength and gentleness, yin and yang. This is inherently a very profound state, which Ye Fan perhaps only truly understood after learning from Li Ruoyu.

After all, Li Ruoyu cultivated the natural way, as the saying goes: Earth follows Heaven, Heaven follows the Way, and the Way follows Nature.

Li Ruoyu's strength is currently at a critical point, on the verge of breaking through to the level of a second-tier immortal.

"Since you've come all this way, why not show yourself and have a cup of tea?" A calm voice echoed from the dilapidated peak.

"Hahaha, I didn't expect to be discovered by the peak master as soon as I arrived at Zhuofeng." Another voice came out, and this person was Yuan Changqing.

"That's because you didn't conceal your presence in the first place."

They arrived at a grand hall, where a man was sitting. This man was none other than Li Ruoyu, the peak master of Zhuofeng Peak.

Yuan Changqing looked at Li Ruoyu, bowed, and said, "I suppose you are the master of my humble peak. I am Yuan Changqing. I hope you will forgive my unauthorized visit."

"It is indeed I, Fellow Daoist Yuan. Please have a seat and some tea." Li Ruoyu first invited Yuan Changqing to sit down, and then poured him a cup of tea.

After they had finished their tea, he asked, "I wonder what brings Fellow Daoist Yuan to my humble peak this time?"

When Yuan Changqing saw Li Ruoyu ask this question, he directly stated his purpose, saying, "Fellow Daoist, I have come here with two matters. First, I would like to ask for your help, and second, I would like to seek your guidance."

Yuan Changqing's words surprised Li Ruoyu, who asked, "Fellow Daoist, are you joking? With your strength surpassing mine, aren't you just making fun of me?"

Yuan Changqing shook his head and said, "Fellow Daoist, to be honest, I am just a rogue cultivator, and my understanding of the Dao is certainly not as profound as yours. That's why I said that."

Upon hearing this, Li Ruoyu understood, but still humbly replied, "Fellow Daoist Yuan is too kind. With your talent, I truly feel I've wasted so many years of my life."

Yuan Changqing laughed and said, "Fellow Daoist, there's no need to worry so much. Perhaps it's just that the time isn't right yet. Once the time comes, you might be able to soar to great heights."

Li Ruoyu smiled faintly and said, "Then I thank you for your kind words, fellow Daoist."

Yuan Changqing then said, "Fellow Daoist, how about we discuss the Dao first? I also have some questions to ask you."

Li Ruoyu waved his hand and said, "Fellow Daoist, you are too modest. We should learn from each other and verify each other's knowledge. Asking for your guidance is a bit too much."

Yuan Changqing didn't stand on ceremony and said, "Since that's the case, then I'll start by throwing out an example."

"The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal name. Nameless, it is the origin of Heaven and Earth. Named, it is the mother of all things. Therefore, one should always be without desire in order to observe its mystery. One should always have desire in order to observe its manifestations. These two arise from the same source but have different names; they are both called profound. Profound and yet more profound, the gateway to all mysteries."

"The highest good is like water. Water benefits all things without striving, dwelling in places that others disdain, thus it is close to the Way. It chooses good places to live, its heart is like a deep pool, it is benevolent in its giving, trustworthy in its words, just in its governance, capable in its actions, and timely in its movements. Because it does not strive, it is without fault."

"..."

"Great perfection seems flawed, yet its use is inexhaustible. Great fullness seems empty, yet its use is boundless. Great straightness seems crooked. Great skill seems clumsy. Great eloquence seems stammering. Stillness overcomes restlessness, cold overcomes heat. Tranquility is the foundation of order in the world."

"..."

What Yuan Changqing was talking about was the Tao Te Ching written by Lao Tzu, which he had seen on Earth. However, when Li Ruoyu heard it, it was like a thunderclap.

Li Ruoyu quickly stood up and bowed to Yuan Changqing, saying, "The Dao you speak of, fellow Daoist, is truly profound and extensive, and it is of great benefit to my cultivation of the Dao of Nature. I thank you in advance."

Yuan Changqing shook his head and said, "Fellow Daoist, there's no need for that. What I'm referring to is the work of a senior from my hometown. I'm merely regurgitating his words and using his own ideas."

Upon hearing this, Li Ruoyu exclaimed, "That senior's Taoist skills are truly unfathomable, far beyond our reach."

Yuan Changqing nodded and said, "Fellow Daoist is right. That senior is indeed a great sage from my hometown."

Afterwards, the two shared some reflections, and then Li Ruoyu began to preach.

"Hidden in the canopy, I gaze upon the heavens, joyfully calling to the sun. The eight divine powers ward off evil, and the spleen spirit returns to the stomach. Nourishing the spiritual root prevents it from withering, and closing the gate of life protects the jade capital. All the gods bestow their blessings, ensuring longevity; this is called the spleen residing in the central palace. The five viscera and six bowels are the masters of the spirits, ascending to the heavenly gate and entering the bright hall. Guarding the feminine and preserving the masculine, the three lights shine upon the crown; outwardly square and inwardly round, the spirit resides within. Unblocking the blood vessels enriches the five viscera, bones are blue, tendons are red, and marrow is like frost. The spleen saves the seven orifices from misfortune, and the sun and moon are arranged in yin and yang." Two gods meet, transforming into jade essence, a bland and tasteless celestial food. Zidan presents the dish, its color a vibrant yellow, called "Language Cream and Jade Frost." The Supreme One conceals the Eight Pure Jade Rings, nourishing the eight fluids, allowing the kidneys to receive essence. I lie hidden in the Taiyin, seeing my form, the Three Mysteries rising from the primordial blue. In a trance, I reach the Pure Spirit, sitting on the Wind-Swept Terrace, seeing the crimson life. In the elusive realm, true joy nourishes glory, inwardly silently refining the five forms. The three energies linger, attaining divine clarity, the hidden dragon fleeing the clouds of Language. It can satisfy hunger and command all spirits, above covered by the mysterious, below by the tiger's emblem.

"..."

After listening to Li Ruoyu's explanation of the Dao, Yuan Changqing said, "Fellow Daoist's Dao is indeed unique and profound, and I have benefited greatly from it."

"You flatter me, fellow Daoist." Then, Li Ruoyu asked, "You just said you needed my help with something. May I ask what it is? Is it that you are not capable of doing it? That would be quite difficult for me."

Yuan Changqing smiled and said, "Fellow Daoist, you are overthinking it. Only you can help me with this."

"Oh! Fellow Daoist, please tell me." Li Ruoyu asked with some curiosity.

So Yuan Changqing explained, "As you know, I am a wandering cultivator with no fixed abode. The reason I came to visit you is to ask my parents to join the Tai Xuan Sect."

"It just so happens that I know some things about Fellow Daoist Zhuofeng, and I would like to invite them to join Zhuofeng."

"That's why I've come here. I'd like to ask for your help, fellow Daoist."

Li Ruoyu asked, "Fellow Daoist, you have also seen the situation of my humble peak. Why don't you join another main peak?"

Yuan Changqing shook his head and said, "My parents are not good at fighting. As you know, when there are many people, there will be more intrigue and trouble."

"But my humble peak is suitable for you, so I also hope that they can live a more stable life, which is why I have no choice but to ask you for help."

After thinking for a moment, Li Ruoyu said, "Since you don't mind the condition of my humble peak, I will accept this favor."

Yuan Changqing was somewhat surprised that he agreed so readily, and then asked, "Fellow Daoist is unaware of my background. Aren't you afraid it might be detrimental to the Tai Xuan Sect?"

"Haha, judging from what you just said and the question you asked, it's clear you're not that kind of person," Li Ruoyu laughed.

He added, "Besides, if that's really the case, your parents will inevitably slip up here, but the Tai Xuan Sect is strong enough to handle that."

Yuan Changqing nodded and said, "Fellow Daoist, you can rest assured about that. Neither I nor my parents are that kind of people. I'll leave it to you to take care of me from now on."

Li Ruoyu added, "Now that you say that, I am even more relieved."

"Hahaha…"

The two exchanged a smile, and Li Ruoyu then asked, "Where are your parents now?"

"It's in the city at the foot of Tai Xuanmen Mountain. I'm just making a preliminary stop here," Yuan Changqing replied.

Li Ruoyu nodded and said, "Then you can have them come to Zhuofeng first. I will arrange the rest."

Yuan Changqing stood up and bowed, saying, "I thank you in advance, fellow Daoist."

"It's nothing."

Afterwards, Yuan Changqing first brought Yuan Dongfang and Jiang Fen to Zhuofeng. After arranging everything, he then took Zeng Li and Yuan Yue'er to Yaochi Holy Land through the teleportation array.
