Chapter 267 The Heaven-Covering Technique and the Five Elements Scripture
Chapter 267 The Heaven-Covering Technique and the Five Elements Scripture
Yuan Changqing couldn't figure it out for a while, but even though he couldn't figure it out, he knew what kind of world he had come to.
You have to understand that this is a very cruel world; people really do eat each other.
Throughout history, countless brilliant and talented emperors and sovereigns have willingly transformed into darkness, poisoning the world and becoming taboo beings in their pursuit of immortality.
Some great emperors, in order to protect the peace of the world, constantly swept away the darkness, and finally died in the starry sky, their tragic deeds widely praised and leaving behind indelible achievements.
Thinking of all this, Yuan Changqing felt a deep heaviness in his heart and lost all interest in searching for anything.
So Yuan Changqing quickly rummaged through the old books and newspapers, found some things he thought were useful, and then found Grandpa Li.
After looking at the items Yuan Changqing needed, Grandpa Li didn't say much. He roughly calculated the cost, wrote out a receipt, and Yuan Changqing handed the money over to Grandpa Li.
Afterwards, Yuan Changqing took the things, said goodbye to his mother Jiang Fen, and then returned to the courtyard house with the books and bicycle parts.
...
After returning to the courtyard house, Yuan Changqing put away the bicycle parts and then eagerly went back to his room to continue reading the book he had been reading earlier.
Yuan Changqing flipped back to the content he had read before and continued reading.
"Second Secret Realm: Dao Palace Secret Realm."
The Sea of Wheels is about the size of a palm below, while the Dao Palace is above it. It corresponds to the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys. The five internal organs are contained within the ribcage. The five deities in the Dao Palace are closely related to and derived from them.
Therefore, it can generate Dao power and vitality, making it a place to nourish life, storing essence and energy without leakage, and circulating life force without decay. It is a secret realm where the human body is extremely powerful.
If one can nourish one's spirit, one will not die. The five spirits will always reside in eternal youth, connecting with the five elements and extending endlessly into the world. Cultivating the five deities in the Taoist temple is the secret method for prolonging life and the foundation of the principles of cultivation.
The Dao Palace is further divided into five minor realms: the five internal organs. Within the five internal organs, the five elemental deities are nurtured, connected to heaven and earth, and continuously generated, which can give rise to Dao power.
Each spirit can cultivate a Dao Palace deity, like an avatar, until all of them reach the Dao Palace perfection.
The Dao Palace is extremely mysterious, even more extraordinary than the Sea of Wheels. It has been opened and unearthed to reveal various mysteries. Among them, the Lung Divine Treasury, connected to the divine path of spiritual energy, covers the highest position of the internal organs and is known as the Canopy, the head of the five viscera. The essence of heaven and earth is extremely pure, and it is the primary source of the divine energy of heaven and earth to be inhaled and exhaled, making it the most important of the five great divine treasuries.
"The Third Secret Realm: The Four Extremes Secret Realm"
The four poles refer to the four pillars supporting the sky in ancient mythology, which correspond to the four limbs in the human body.
The Four Extremes Secret Realm vividly summarizes this secret realm. What one needs to cultivate is not only the unparalleled physical body and mind, but also the Great Dao, which extends far and wide like the Four Extremes connecting heaven and earth.
The four poles of the body are connected to the Great Dao, which extends to heaven and earth. Heaven and earth have four poles. Man follows the earth, the earth follows heaven, and heaven follows nature. The human body is a microcosm, and heaven and earth are a macrocosm. Taking the body as the seed, the four poles are very vivid.
The four limbs are connected, divided into four minor realms. With successful cultivation, one's hands and feet become connected to the heavens and the earth, possessing immense strength with every movement, and wielding supernatural powers and secret techniques with effortless ease.
"The Fourth Secret Realm: Dragon Transformation Secret Realm."
The cultivation of the spine in the Dragon Transformation Realm is ultimately about the evolution and mutation of the human body.
The spine within all things is divided into nine segments, each representing a different level of cultivation. Each segment is like a pillar of the sky, as solid as a rock. When the secret realm reaches its peak, the spine manifests, like a true dragon within the body, signifying the completion of the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm.
The Dragon Transformation Realm, however, represents the pinnacle of the Nine Heavens.
"Fifth Secret Realm: Sendai Secret Realm".
There are five major secret realms in the human body: the Sea of Wheels, the Palace of the Dao, the Four Extremes, the Dragon Transformation, and the Immortal Platform. The relationship between them is that they are progressively higher. The Dragon Transformation has nine transformations, and after the nine transformations of the Dragon Transformation and the Moon Gazing at the Immortal, the Great Dragon of the Spine is perfected before one can enter the final secret realm of the human body, the Immortal Platform.
Follow the spine of the dragon all the way up to the Sendai, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
This is a pure land, a supreme celestial haven, possessing boundless potential. The Immortal Platform and the location of the head are located here. Cultivating the Immortal Platform has the greatest impact on the primordial spirit and is also the last of the five great secret realms of the human body.
Sendai is the last secret realm of the human body, and it is very different from the previous four secret realms. It can be said that there is a fundamental difference between them.
Cultivating in the Immortal Platform Secret Realm is extremely difficult, and it is hard to move forward. Each step forward is equivalent to ascending to a new level of heaven, with a huge difference in strength between the previous and current levels.
To move from one level of heaven to another is difficult because of the vast chasm between them.
The combined power span of the Sea of Wheels, the Palace of Dao, the Four Extremes, and the Dragon Transformation Realm is still not as great as the power span of the Sendai Secret Realm alone.
The Sendai Secret Realm is said to be divided into nine ranks. The first and second ranks are half-step great power and great power, the third rank is the Dao-slaying King, the fourth rank is the Saint, the fifth rank is the Saint King, the sixth rank is the Great Saint, the seventh rank is the Quasi-Emperor, and the eighth rank is the Great Emperor.
As for the ninth rank, perhaps that's what's known as becoming an immortal!
Next came a cultivation manual called the Five Elements Scripture.
The book concludes by stating, "These five secret realms are what we need to cultivate and comprehend."
"I was originally a scholar from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. My family was quite wealthy and I loved reading. I accidentally found a cultivation technique in my family's collection of books. Unfortunately, the technique could only be cultivated up to the Dragon Transformation Realm. I didn't know if the technique was genuine or not. I tried to cultivate it and successfully opened the Sea of Bitterness after ten years. However, the world was in a period of decline, and cultivation was difficult."
"In order to continue cultivating, he went into the mountains to try to find rare and precious materials, but he was unlucky and encountered a demon beast. He was seriously injured by it and finally escaped back home. He felt that his life was not long. In the end, he preserved his cultivation method and passed it down to future generations so that it would not be lost."
After seeing this, Yuan Changqing thought that perhaps that person's descendants tried to cultivate it but found it useless and then abandoned it.
Or perhaps due to a decline in family fortunes, it changed hands several times before being sold to a scrap metal recycling station.
Finally, it will fall into Yuan Changqing's hands.
Moreover, this manual was clearly copied by that person later, probably because the original was too damaged!
Judging from the introduction in this manual, the person who originally left it must have been very knowledgeable about the cultivation world; otherwise, they wouldn't have had such a clear understanding of the five major secret realms of the human body.
Perhaps the person who first left behind this technique lived a very long time ago.
As far as Yuan Changqing knew, Earth was still sealed, which meant that it was in the Dharma-ending Age and it was difficult to sense spiritual energy from the outside world.
Perhaps only those ancient sects, due to the presence of formations, were able to lock in spiritual energy, which may have become thin by now, making it barely possible to cultivate.
This is all because it was absorbed by the ninety-nine dragon mountains of Kunlun Mountain, and the spiritual energy within the entire solar system was completely drained.
This is also the real reason for the end times of the Dharma on Earth.
Moreover, the Kunlun Mountains are rich in spiritual energy, but without the correct map, entering them is certain death.
It should be noted that Kunlun Mountain is filled with Great Emperor Formations, and only Great Emperor-level experts can safely enter and exit.
Afterwards, Yuan Changqing carefully studied the text of the Five Elements Classic, pondering each word and phrase. Although he still did not fully understand it, he felt that every word was truly precious.
Therefore, Yuan Changqing felt that he should collect more Taoist classics and Buddhist scriptures to read in the future, so that he could better understand the principles of the Five Elements Classic and be able to practice with ease in the future.
Now Yuan Changqing finally realized that the world he had come to was not some ordinary world, but the famous world of Shrouding the Heavens.
Now I finally know why I couldn't sense any spiritual energy before. It's all that old silver coin Emperor's doing!
Living in this Dharma-ending Age on Earth, and lacking both strength and the ability to activate the World Pearl, Yuan Changqing could only obediently cultivate at home, waiting for the arrival of the 1980s.
It's not that there's no way to leave, but as the old saying goes, "While parents are alive, one should not travel far." Moreover, one might inadvertently implicate one's parents, which would be a major problem for future cultivation.
Another reason is that Yuan Changqing also intends to guide his parents onto the path of cultivation.
Therefore, Yuan Changqing also wanted to take advantage of these ten years to collect more things that would be helpful for cultivation, such as Taoist classics, feng shui books, and so on.
...
After learning that this world was the world of "Covering the Sky," Yuan Changqing had a direction to move forward.
However, life goes on, and there's no point in thinking about it too much now.
After Yuan Changqing bought the car wheel back from the repair shop, he saw Uncle San standing there like a door god as soon as he entered the gate, even though he knew what kind of person Uncle San was.
However, every time Yuan Changqing saw it, he was speechless.
"Changqing, why did you buy two bicycle wheels?" the third uncle asked curiously.
Seeing that the third uncle asked this question, it would be good to let the people in the courtyard know, so as to prevent any trouble from happening in the courtyard after the bicycle is assembled.
Yuan Changqing knew that some people in this courtyard couldn't stand seeing others doing well and always wanted to cause trouble before they would stop.
So Yuan Changqing replied, "Third Uncle, of course I'm buying bicycle wheels so I can have one. Do you think I'd buy them just for fun?"
Upon hearing this, the third uncle's eyes darted around, and he seemed to realize something. He then said, "Changqing, you're thinking of assembling the bicycle yourself by putting together the parts!"
Yuan Changqing nodded and replied, "That's why I say you're the Third Uncle, your mind works so fast. You see, bicycle tickets aren't easy to get, so I can only try to collect parts myself. That way I can save on bicycle tickets, even though it's not as high-end as a new bike."
Upon hearing the praise, the third uncle smiled and said, "Changqing, you really have a good idea. So, by buying wheels now, have you collected all the parts?"
"Yes, we've collected them all. We're just waiting for the wheels," Yuan Changqing replied.
The third uncle added, "You bought this home intending to assemble it yourself. No offense, Changqing, but do you even know how to assemble it?"
"Hey, Uncle, you're underestimating me. I spent a long time observing at the repair shop, otherwise I wouldn't have brought it back and assembled it myself!" Yuan Changqing said again.
The old man was still somewhat skeptical after hearing this, and said, "You said you went to the repair shop to learn how to repair cars, then I want to see if what you said is true."
Yuan Changqing raised an eyebrow and said, "Just you wait and see, Third Master."
Afterwards, Yuan Changqing went to the home of an elderly man in the Intermediate People's Court and asked, "Grandpa, is he home?"
"Oh, it's Changqing. Your uncle is out. Do you need to see him?" an older woman asked as she came out.
Yuan Changqing added, "The old lady is just asking for a wrench or some other tools from the old man."
The older woman nodded and said, "I know all these tools. I'll get them for you right away."
"Okay, thank you so much, ma'am."
"It's alright, we're all neighbors, helping each other is only right."
After waiting for a while, an older woman brought out a wooden box and handed it over.
After Yuan Changqing took it, he said, "Auntie, I'll return it to you as soon as I'm done using it!"
"Hmm, it's alright, you can use it for now. Your uncle doesn't use it much anyway," the woman replied.
Back in the front yard, Yuan Changqing took out all the bicycle parts he had collected.
Upon seeing this, the third uncle remarked, "Changqing, you've really collected quite a few parts!"
Yuan Changqing said, "There aren't many, they're all for bicycles."
Then, Yuan Changqing began to turn the frame upside down, first installing the mudguards and then the front wheels.
Next is the rear wheel. First, install the mudguard, then the rear wheel, then install the chain, and finally balance the rear wheel and tighten the bolts.
After installation, rotate the wheel to check if the chain will come off. If the chain is likely to come off, adjust it again, and then it's almost done.
After the assembly was completed, Yuan Changqing said, "How about it, Third Uncle? I didn't lie to you, did I?"
The third uncle nodded and said, "Changqing, you're really something."
"It's just average, nothing special. I'm nowhere near as good as the mechanics at the auto repair shop," Yuan Changqing said modestly.
Then he added, "Uncle, what do you think? Now that I have a bicycle, why don't you consider it? It would be much more convenient for you to go to school or go fishing with a bicycle."
The old man looked at Yuan Changqing's bicycle with envy, and after thinking for a moment, said, "It's definitely worth considering."
After Yuan Changqing put the tools away, he said, "Third Uncle, take your time to think it over. I'll go return the tools to First Uncle."
