Planetary evolution, how come you're Ultraman?

In the vacuum of the universe, Lin Chen floated in mid-air, cold cosmic rays grazing past his body, but he didn't care at all.

Wang Hu's spaceship was parked right in front of him. The burly man was staring at him fiercely through the spaceship's porthole, his face full of disdain, and he was shouting through the communication:

"Kid, what's wrong? Too scared to stay inside the spaceship? Want to come out and surrender?"

He scoffed, maneuvering his spaceship to ram Lin Chen's Dawn again. The vibrations inside the spaceship returned once more.

"Let me tell you, don't push your luck. If you keep acting tough with me, I'll blow your planet to smithereens, so you won't even know how you died!"

His superpower is practically invincible in this newbie zone!

An ordinary starting spaceship would explode instantly if hit by him. That's how those three newbies were instantly killed by him!

This kid in front of me looks so refined, what skills could he possibly have? He just got lucky and found some resources to upgrade his shield. If it really came down to a fight, I wouldn't stand a chance against him!

Messages were scrolling through the public channel at breakneck speed:

"It's over, it's over, Tiger's made his move, that kid's done for!"

"I knew it. Going against Tiger will only end badly. Those three newbies are a perfect example."

"What a pity. That kid looked pretty good, upgrading his shield so quickly. I didn't expect him to run into Brother Tiger."

"There's nothing we can do. He's blocking Tiger's way. In this newbie zone, Tiger is the boss."

Everyone was feeling sorry for him and thought Lin Chen was doomed.

Hearing the words on the public channel, Wang Hu became even more smug. He roared at Lin Chen:

"Kid, this is your last chance. Hand over the core, or I'll make my move!"

Lin Chen didn't speak, but simply raised his hand and grasped the sheath of the Evolution Truster at his waist.

His fingers traced the silver sheath, and then suddenly, he pulled the short blade out!

"Buzz!"

The buzzing sound was the energy fluctuation of the Evolution Truster, transmitted to Lin Chen's ears through the sensors in his spacesuit. There was no sound in the vacuum outside.

However, an extremely dazzling white light suddenly burst forth from the short blade!

That light was so dazzling that it instantly illuminated the entire dark universe!

Wang Hu's eyes were instantly blinded by the light. He instinctively raised his hand to shield his eyes, cursing under his breath.

"What...what are you doing?!"

Before he could finish speaking, he saw Lin Chen's body begin to grow at a visible speed within the light!

Silver armor instantly covered his entire body, with red patterns flowing across it. His enormous body slowly took shape in the universe, and the fifty-meter-tall giant stood there in the starry sky!

The silver head crest and red chest markings are the childhood form of Ultraman Nexus!

Wang Hu's pupils instantly shrank to pinholes!

His eyes widened as he stared at the enormous silver giant before him. The arrogance on his face instantly turned into terror, and he froze on the spot, unable to utter a word!

What...what is this thing?!

Lin Chen looked down at the small plundering spaceship in front of him, which was less than his knees tall, and at the terrified Wang Hu, and gently raised his fist.

His fist, shimmering with faint light patterns, traced a gentle trajectory through the universe.

There was no sound at all; no sound could be heard in the vacuum. The only visual effect was the image of a fist of light smashing into the spaceship.

The next second, Wang Hu's spaceship, as if made of paper, instantly exploded into pieces!

A massive explosion erupted in the universe, scattering debris in all directions and illuminating the entire star field, but there was no sound, only a silent light.

Wang Hu's body floated out at the moment of the explosion. He stared at the enormous silver giant before him, trembling, his face filled with disbelief. With his last ounce of strength, he sent Lin Chen a final message via emergency communication:

[You...you're Ultraman?]

After he finished speaking, his body gradually stiffened.

[The enemy planetary lord has been defeated. Do you wish to absorb its planetary core?]

"Yes."

Lin Chen nodded and activated the absorption function.

Wang Hu's planet was instantly drawn in, and the light conversion function was activated, transforming all the resources inside into pure light energy.

Your planet has been upgraded! Current level: Minor Planetary (Early Stage)!

[Unlock Nexus's full abilities in its juvenile form!]

[Light energy reserve +1000!]

Lin Chen deactivated his transformation and returned to his Dawn.

At this point, the public channels were completely in an uproar!

Just now, a passing star lord recorded this scene and posted it on the public channel!

The video captured a dazzling white light, a gigantic silver giant, the scene of a punch shattering a spaceship, and Wang Hu's last communication message—all of which were recorded!

The entire public channel was instantly flooded with those two words!

"Holy crap?! What was that just now? A gigantic silver giant?"

"Ultraman? That's Ultraman? Is it for real?"

"That A-level ability user, Wang Hu? He was blown to bits with a single punch?!"

"Am I seeing things? Wang Hu is so powerful, yet he was defeated with a single punch?"

"That giant...it really is Ultraman! There's Ultraman in the astral plane!"

"What kind of world is this?! How come there's Ultraman here?!"

The messages were scrolling by incredibly fast, thousands per second, and everyone was going crazy!

Previously, they were panicking about the radiation wave and fighting over resources. Now, everyone's attention is focused on this suddenly appearing Ultraman!

Of the 70 billion people, who hasn't watched Ultraman?

Who doesn't know that giant of light?

But who would have thought that Ultraman actually exists in this world of survival on this planet?!

Lin Chen glanced at the messages on the public channel, but didn't pay any attention. He had already anticipated these people's reactions.

He activated the Evolution Truster's detection function, preparing to see if there were any other resource planets, when a yellow distress signal popped up in front of him.

It was a soft, sweet female voice coming through the communicator, tinged with a sob:

"Help! Can anyone save me? I'm being chased by two raiders! My spaceship is about to break down!"

The girl's information instantly appeared before Lin Chen's eyes.

Star Master: Su Qingyue

Superpower: Healing

Location: 500 kilometers away from him.

Oh?

Lin Chen raised an eyebrow and a smile appeared on his lips.

Is it around here?

Perfect timing, we just dealt with Wang Hu, let's see if these guys have any good stuff.

He activated the Dawn and flew towards Su Qingyue's location.

He paid no attention to the commotion on the public channel.

Wang Hu is just an appetizer; the story of this astral realm has only just begun.

Next, there are more raiders and more crises waiting for him to solve.

And he, Lin Chen, will use the power of Ultraman to carve out a world of light in this world of survival on this planet!
