Two Realms: Hunters and Pirates

Zane took a long look at Hisoka's departing figure.

"Being targeted... well, that really fits his personality."

Based on his understanding of Hisoka, Hisoka's words were enough for him to know that he was being targeted by this fruit farmer.

He wasn't afraid of this.

If the other party wants a fight, he has nothing to fear.

After all, being a pirate, he's known for being stubborn.

Moreover, he gained quite a bit from this battle.

Zane looked down at his right fist, which was wrapped in Armament Haki.

After dissipating his Armament Haki, a faint steam-like aura was visible emanating from his right fist.

Hisoka reacted quickly to that punch, using his "Steel" ability to defend himself.

In other words, at the moment of the collision, Zane was also hit by Hisoka's Nen counterattack.

Zain used Armament Haki to defend against the Nen counterattack, but also intentionally allowed some of it to penetrate.

The result is just like the steam rising from his right fist at this moment.

The acupoint on Zane's right fist had been forcibly opened by Hisoka's Nen.

That's right.

Zain also has spermatic cord pores.

Although it's unclear whether this is something inherent to pirates or a benefit of the Bronze Gate, the presence of the acupoint is undoubtedly a great thing for Zain.

This means he has complete control over Nen.

Hold your breath and concentrate.

Gazing at the Nen emanating from his right fist, Zane, no longer under the pressure of Hisoka, immediately began to try to control it.

The opening of the orifice in his right fist was like a key to Zane.

With his physical abilities and willpower, it was almost effortless for him to quickly control his Nen.

boom!!!

Originating from the Nen energy emanating from his fist, this Nen energy rapidly spread along his arm to his entire body.

In just a breath or two, all of Zain's pores were opened, causing his entire body to surge with a powerful aura.

The powerful impact shook the surrounding air, cracked the grass beneath their feet, and created layers of air waves.

"What's going on?"

"What happened?"

"Zane, what's wrong?"

The three people behind Xiao Jie were caught off guard and pushed away by the blast wave.

The three of them steadied themselves somewhat awkwardly, then looked at Zain with suspicion and uncertainty.

They cannot see Nen, but they can see the energy waves generated by Nen.

Seeing the sudden surge of energy around Zain, how could the three not be surprised?

Of course, this was only because Zane's Nen release was not malicious; otherwise, Gon and his two companions would not have been simply knocked back.

A surge of Nen energy flowed continuously from Zain's body through his pores.

Even though he had only just opened his pores, the amount of Nen that Zane displayed was extraordinary.

"Oh? You've adapted so quickly? And this kind of Nen is making me more and more excited."

In the thick fog and dense forest, Hisoka, who had already gone far away, suddenly stopped and looked back in the direction he had come from.

Sensing the surging Nen energy coming from behind him, Hisoka's mouth almost split open to his ears.

The pupils trembled.

Hisoka gripped his arms with both hands, tearing at his fingertips until they bled.

"Calm down, now is not the time..."

Hisoka's gaze was vacant, emanating a demonic aura.

He did his best to suppress the excitement in his heart and the urge to turn back.

Zane's pores were clearly opened during the battle with him just now.

In other words, Zain still has a lot of room for growth.

The fruit he wanted to taste needed to ripen; it was still green and unripe, and he needed to wait.

The stinging pain from the scratch on his arm calmed him down a little, and he quickly left.

He feared that if he stayed any longer, he would succumb to temptation and prematurely pluck the unripe fruit that was Zain.

Hisoka's figure quickly disappeared into the thick fog.

Back to Zane.

The surge of Nen energy did not last long; it subsided quickly.

But this does not mean that the energy has been exhausted or disappeared.

In that short time, the surging Nen energy was firmly controlled by Zane, and as it flowed slowly, it transformed into an invisible film that wrapped around his body.

This is precisely the "Entanglement" in the foundation of Qi application.

"I'm fine, I just learned a new power from Hisoka."

After regaining control of his Nen, Zane slowly exhaled, turning back to reassure the three friends, Gon and the others, who were watching him nervously, while relaxing and stretching his body.

Controlling his inner energy was much easier than he had expected.

Well, or rather, compared to Armament Haki, Nen is easier to control.

"A new force?"

Zane's words startled the three of them.

"We'll talk about the details later; let's catch up with the group as soon as possible!"

At Zane's call, the three of them snapped out of their daze and, without thinking too much, quickly followed Zane on their way again.

Xiao Jie has a naturally keen sense of smell, allowing him to track things down by the faintest scent.

Thanks to this, although Zane and his companions were far behind the rest of the group because of Hisoka, they still managed to reach their destination in time.

"Phew, at least I wasn't late."

"Looks like we're not late."

Leorio and Kurapika breathed a sigh of relief after successfully reuniting with the examinees in front of a manor.

Zane ruffled Gon's spiky hair and praised, "Not bad, Gon, you did a great job this time!"

Although he was capable enough to find the candidates by following the clues they left behind, Xiao Jie's keen sense of smell undoubtedly saved him a lot of trouble.

"It's alright!"

Xiao Jie, feeling a little embarrassed by the praise, chuckled shyly.

At that moment, his eyes lit up as he saw Killua jogging towards him.

"Xiao Jie!"

"Killua!"

The two children greeted each other happily when they met again.

"It's a good thing you guys arrived in time; I thought you wouldn't make it," Killua remarked as he approached.

"Although there were some unexpected events along the way, we managed to get through it smoothly in the end," Kurapika said with emotion.

"That's right!"

Upon hearing this, Leorio and Gon nodded in deep agreement.

Then, the three of them glanced at Hisoka in the crowd not far away, without prior arrangement.

Hisoka passed smoothly as well.

Killua keenly noticed the actions of Gon and the other two.

Following the gaze, one immediately sees Hisoka not far away.

He seemed to be deep in thought.

Did Gon and his friends really fight Hisoka?

Thinking of this, he carefully observed the situation of the group again.

He quickly noticed that Zane and Hisoka showed signs of fighting.

On the contrary, Xiao Jie and his two companions were alright.

Killua immediately made a judgment in his mind.

Judging from the situation, it seems that the only one who actually fought Hisoka was Zane.

He clicked his tongue inwardly.

I didn't expect Xiao Jie's friend to be so capable.

Although he didn't know Hisoka's exact strength, there was no doubt that the aura that kept strangers away meant he was a very dangerous expert.

To be able to fight against such a master and survive unscathed, Zane's strength must be extraordinary.
