Richard shook his head, his expression calm, and said, "Our previous deal was just to help you complete your investigation. Now that we've found the reason for the increased spider population, as long as we record it with the quest crystal, the investigation is complete. There's absolutely no need to risk your life challenging monsters far stronger than us!"

Only a fool would risk his life to try and kill two obviously powerful monsters, Richard thought to himself. Although he also liked the energy points left after a monster died, the risk was just too great and completely unnecessary.

"You!!! Richard!" Stephania was speechless after Richard's retort, because Richard was right, but when she first found Richard, she never expected that there would be a human-faced spider here.

You should know that in the muddy swamp, no, in the entire continent of Bais, the human-faced spider is much rarer than the crystal web spider queen.

The Human-Faced Spider primarily lives in dark regions, how despicable! As long as one possesses the soul of a Human-Faced Spider, one's own Soul-Devouring Spider can perfectly hatch and will also possess all of the Human-Faced Spider's abilities.

Javier's lips trembled for a moment, but he couldn't utter a single word!

"And you, Lena!" Stephania turned her gun on Lena.

Immediately, Lena lowered her head and stopped talking!

Richard chuckled to himself, thinking, "Heh, this is interesting. It seems that all of Stephanie's teammates this time have something on them, or are completely under her control!"

However, it's not entirely impossible to kill him!

As Stephania's gaze fell upon everyone, finally settling on Richard, he proactively asked, "Have you prepared all the alchemical bombs I told you to prepare beforehand, like Ice Bite and Fire Dance Star?"

Stephania said irritably, "I don't have Ice Bite, but I have ten bottles of Fire Dance Star and ten bottles of Silver Moon Dust! That's all!" As she spoke, she took out the two alchemical bombs from her backpack in sequence.

Richard raised an eyebrow and said, "With these alchemical bombs, we're not entirely without a chance, however..."

"But what?" Stephania immediately replied when she heard Richard seem to be softening his stance.

"You need to pay more!" Richard stared intently into Stephanie's eyes. What a joke! Taking such a huge risk, of course there has to be a sufficient profit!

"No problem!" Stephania agreed without hesitation.

"You agreed without even asking me how much more I would have paid?" Richard said jokingly.

"One hundred magic stones, is that enough?" Stephania held up one index finger.

Wow! What a rich woman!

The wealth of the kingdom's top nobles was truly beyond reach; they casually offered three-figure sums of magic stones. Richard was greatly tempted. He knew that with these hundred magic stones, he could directly purchase the Prophet's Potion from Instructor Seras at cost price and directly enhance his mental power.

Richard originally planned to collect at most thirty or forty magic stones, but he didn't expect Stephania to triple the amount!

"How about two hundred magic stones?" Richard tentatively asked, revealing a shameless and unscrupulous merchant's potential.

"You, Richard, you're taking advantage of our misfortune!!!" Stephania glared at Richard, her eyes blazing with fury, and said viciously, "At most one hundred and fifty magic stones!"

"Alright! It's settled then, one hundred and fifty magic stones. Pay upfront!" Richard said with a smile, extending his hand.

"You!!! I only brought one hundred magic stones with me. I'll give you the remaining fifty when we get back!" Stephania angrily handed Richard a black bag.

"No problem!" Richard grabbed the bag, didn't even check it, just touched it and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Alright, let's get started. Give me all your Fire Dance Stars and Silver Moon Dust!"

Everyone curiously gathered around Richard, only to see him tightly bind ten Fire Dance Stars and ten packets of Silver Moon Dust together, turning them into an otherworldly version of a cluster bomb.

If Stephena hadn't brought so many alchemical bombs, he would have definitely turned around and left. Now, however, he could give it a try. If all else fails, escaping wouldn't be a problem. Richard had already marked the forks in the road along the way so that he could quickly return the way he came in case of any unexpected situation!

Once everything was ready, Richard told the other four his ideas all at once, and their eyes lit up immediately!

Five minutes later, Richard hid his entire body behind the boulder and then made a countdown gesture to Javier behind him.

Richard forcefully threw out the Blinding Potion, which traced a beautiful arc in the air before flying towards the center of the empty hall, where the two enormous monsters were located.

Monsters have very keen senses. When they sensed something flying overhead, they all raised their heads, opened their eyes wide, and stared intently at the suddenly appearing unidentified object.

Since the blinding potion was just a test tube, which was very small relative to the size of the monsters, both of them, including the two large monsters, stared intently at the blinding potion, trying to see this tiny thing clearly so as to figure out what it was!

Just as all the monsters' gazes followed the parabola of the blinding potion, the silver test tube slammed hard into the ground!

Suddenly, a dazzling silver sphere, hundreds of times brighter than sunlight, burst forth from it!

For the subterranean monsters who are born with the ability to see the night as day, this bright light is like strong acid being poured directly into their fragile eyes!
