Hunter x Hunter: Call Me Master Inventor

Cola Novels, your portable library, contains more than ten thousand volumes.

von Clay started by saying:

"Then I'll call you Bisky-neechan?"

Well, I'm younger than her anyway, so calling her "older sister" isn't a loss for me at all.

Even if she's an experienced driver, she can still confidently claim she's only eighteen.

His physical age is only sixteen years old.

"Bisky... Sister?!"

Even Bisky, a seasoned veteran of battlefields in every sense of the word, was taken aback upon hearing the title "Von Clay"...

A rare look of surprise appeared on that delicate little face.

Such a form of address...

She hadn't heard it in a long time.

"...My older sister?!"

After a moment of realizing what was happening, a playful look appeared on Bisky's face.

"Do you know that practically no one dares to call me that?"

"Then it will be available from now on."

von Clay said with righteous indignation:

"Besides, you're only eighteen, and I'm sixteen. It's not unreasonable for me to call you 'older sister,' is it?"

Your shamelessness is a bit too much...

"That's a bit too shameless, isn't it..."

"But I like it, hehehe!!"

Who in this world doesn't like to hear nice things?!

Especially for someone like Bisky, who is already over forty...

According to the seniors.

They say a man is in his prime at forty, but a woman at forty...

In short, being addressed this way without having to do anything is truly delightful.

As for what this so-called "inventor" von Clay might do next...

We can turn against each other then.

In any case, her current happiness doesn't affect her other attitudes at all.

Biskey's distinctions were so clear, so self-evident.

"Sister or whatever, let's just forget about it~"

Bisky reverted to her usual gentle and frail appearance:

"Shouting like that can easily lead to misunderstandings."

von Clay: "..."

You're clearly more shameless and more opportunistic than me, aren't you?!

That's true, otherwise, what kind of good person would be in their forties, or even fifties, still pretending to be a young girl...

"That's true~"

Von Clay sighed as well:

"Now that you're already a master, this kind of address is indeed a bit inappropriate..."

He nodded seriously, looking as if he was really considering Bisky's best interests.

Bisky: "..."

"Do you really have to expose this broken reality so quickly?"

She instantly returned to seriousness, muttering to herself in a half-jokingly angry tone.

Thoughts began to churn in my mind:

"If it weren't for that old man Netero, who insisted that I train a decent apprentice..."

"Consider this an achievement I've made in the field of guidance, and it fulfills the requirements for becoming a two-star hunter."

"I'm too lazy to come and train newbies~!!"

A hunter is someone who has passed the hunter test and obtained or previously held a hunter's license; they are called a professional hunter.

Above that, there are three levels that determine a hunter's rank.

A one-star hunter is a title awarded to hunters who have made great achievements or left behind many merits in a certain field.

Characters like Zezze La (bounty hunter) from the later Greed Island strategy game, Menchi (gourmet hunter) from the hunter test examiner, and Buhara (gourmet hunter) belong to this level.

Above that are two-star hunters, who have achieved great success or made significant contributions in several fields.

For example, Gon's father, Ging Freecss, facilitated the breeding of the two-headed wolf (from the perspective of the creature hunters), captured the Kud bandits (from the perspective of the bounty hunters), and repaired the Ruins of Luluka (from the perspective of the ruin hunters), etc.

Bisky's primary hunter specialization is gem hunter.

To be rated as a two-star hunter, one must achieve success in other areas.

And coincidentally, this happened right after the annual Hunter Exams...

Those hunters who obtain their licenses and pass the tests still face a final assessment:

Learning the ability to think.

If you can't learn this, you won't be able to protect your hunter's license, and then nothing else matters.

Every new hunter who passes the test will receive Nen training from experienced professional hunters.

This year, Bisky received this task of mentoring a junior from Netero, the president of the Hunter Association.

Although Bisky was very resistant, Chairman Netero said with a smile that she was still missing this multi-faceted achievement to advance to the level of a two-star hunter.

The old man, the chairman, promised that if Bisky could successfully train the newcomer, then she would have met this condition.

Bisky reluctantly accepted, and then quite willfully declared:

"If none of the new recruits who passed the test this year satisfy me or have any teaching value..."

"Then I won't waste my time on that blockhead."

President Nitero said, "Don't worry about that. If that's the case, it's not your fault."

But...

"If you just take a quick look and then come to me saying the newcomers aren't good enough, I won't take that seriously."

Mr. Netero's casual remark directly exposed Bisky's ulterior motives.

But shameless as she is, she won't show it after admitting defeat. Instead, she'll confidently declare, "Just you wait and see."

Then, she arrived at the Sky Arena and found Yun Gu.

After observing him, they felt that he was a promising talent and that's when they accepted him as their apprentice.

Unexpectedly, I encountered someone like von Clay in such a place.

"That scary little guy with no eyebrows who fought Yun Gu, is he your teammate?"

Bisky also glanced at the arena below:

"But it looks like he's going to lose."

Although Yun Gu is also a beginner in Nen ability, he is a freshman who passed this year's Hunter Exam, so his level is already there.

Phinks was just a small-time hoodlum in Meteor City and had never received any professional guidance.

It was only by following Bon Clay that he opened his Nen apertures and mastered the power of Nen.

His manipulation and use of telekinesis and ki were far more crude than Yun Gu's.

Not to mention that Yun Gu himself also had Bisky's guidance and instruction.

and……

How could someone who is chosen by Bisky to teach be a simple character?

To describe it using the information about Yun Gu from the Hunter Encyclopedia, it would be...

"Although he believes he is better suited for teaching, his judgment and intelligence in battle are on par with Hisoka's."
