Hunter x Hunter: The Strongest Zoldyck

Chapter 80: Roy's Possible Battle Against the "Apple Lovers"

Sky Arena, a hotel with double suites on the 99th floor.

The access card was swiped through the sensor lock, emitting a soft "beep".

Pushing open the door and stepping aside to make way, Fica carefully put Roy down... her movements were very gentle, as if she were moving a fragile antique.

Roy's arms hung limply at his sides, his fingers slightly curled, fingertips pointing downwards, devoid of strength and color.

His face was as white as paper, his lips were purple, and a dried bloodstain hung on his forehead, extending from his hairline to the end of his eyebrow, like a dried red stream.

"Boss, how are you feeling? Are you alright?"

Looking up at Fica, who looked nervous, Roy braced himself on the bed and slowly sat up.

"hiss!......."

His movements were very gentle, but the internal injury in his abdomen was still aggravated, and the sharp pain from inside his body made him groan softly.

"It's nothing... just a bit of weakness and internal bleeding, I'll be fine tomorrow."

Roy suppressed his discomfort, steadied himself, and looked at Fica's pale, sweat-covered face with his silver-gray pupils. A slight smile played on his lips as he reiterated, "..."

"It's really nothing... Don't worry, I have a special constitution, I'll be fine tomorrow."

"Internal...internal...bleeding?"

Fica automatically filtered out the second half of Roy's sentence, her brows furrowing as she stammered a reply:

"He's bleeding internally, how can he be fine? No, boss, I need to treat him right away."

As he spoke, he quickly focused his mind and gathered his energy.

He mobilized and directed the light green Nen energy within his body, and a thin mist of Nen energy immediately overflowed from his palms, slowly covering his hands.

Then Fica stretched out her pale green hands and pressed them against Roy's body...

"It's really nothing."

With a slight step to the side, Roy effortlessly dodged Fica's hands; the movement was small, but precise...

"You should save your Nen abilities for unexpected situations."

He waved his hand dismissively, speaking in a flat tone as if stating a fact that didn't need discussion.

Fika's hands hovered in mid-air, pale green Nen flowing around his fingertips, flickering uncertainly.

He stood there stunned for several seconds, his lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but he didn't say anything.

But his eyes reddened slightly... not because he felt wronged, but because he was worried.

He had seen Roy injured, seen him break bones, bleed, and have his chest pierced by Jumongard's knee, but each time, Roy simply said, "I'm fine."

Then he got up again and continued fighting.

"Boss..." Fika's voice was low and deep, as if it came from underground.

"You always say that."

Roy did not answer.

He slowly moved his body backward, leaned against the headboard, closed his eyes, and began to recall the scene of the day.

"Hiso...Moro...I didn't expect him to already be at the Heavens Arena."

"But why did we meet on the first floor? According to my memories from my past life, shouldn't he be on the 200th floor?"

"How come we ran into each other on the first floor this time?"

"Is it because of the timeline? In the story, he became the Lord of the Heavens Arena when Gon was twelve years old... while Killua is only seven years old now, so it will be another five years before he becomes the Lord. If we work backwards like this, then he should have just arrived at the Heavens Arena now..."

"just....?"

By repeatedly recalling those two words in his mind, Roy roughly understood the current situation.

Is it just pure luck?

I arrived at the Heavens Arena just in time for Hisoka's debut match.

A wry smile appeared on Roy's lips, and he couldn't help but smile wryly.

He truly never expected that he would actually encounter Hisoka's debut match at the Heavens Arena.

This is practically the treatment reserved for the main characters.

etc......

Since Hisoka's promotion was his debut battle, the highest level he could advance to in one go should not exceed ninety-nine...

To advance to level 100 or above, he must participate in a battle below level 100 again and be re-ranked....

So... as fellow contestants at the same level of 99 awaiting ranking, either I or Serapika might encounter him again on the arena tomorrow.

Thinking of this, Roy could no longer maintain his composure. He quickly changed his tone and said to Fika by the bedside:

"Fica... heal me."

Fica was taken aback by Roy's words, but he didn't say anything more. He simply extended his hands again, and the pale green Nen energy condensed anew.

"Well... I'm here... Boss."

With a soft reply, Fica's hands glowed with a pale green light as he pressed them against Roy's chest again.

"Um....."

Roy nodded, letting Fica do as he pleased, and no longer dodged.

Outside the window, the night view of Tramia is like an unfolded scroll, with thousands of lights scattered like gold dust, and the outline of the sea can be faintly seen on the distant horizon.

The wind was strong, but the soundproof glass kept it out. The room was so quiet that you could hear the sound of energy churning, sometimes deep, sometimes shallow, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, different rhythms interacting and weaving a green cocoon about half the size of a person.

Inside the silkworm pupa, Roy's small, thin figure could be vaguely seen.

Serapika silently got up, walked to Fica and Roy, and stood in front of them like a gatekeeper.

This is her way of showing care for people.

Silent and resolute... earnest...

Fika turned his head slightly, catching a glimpse of the Kuruta girl standing in front of him. His lips moved, and he softly uttered two words:

"Thanks......."

The girl didn't answer. She walked to the window and drew the curtains halfway, blocking out some of the city's noise and lights.

Moonlight shone through a sliver of light, falling on the girl's fair cheeks and making them sparkle.

Unconsciously, Fica's gaze was fixed on Roy, and she even forgot that she was healing Roy.

"How much longer are you going to watch?"

In the end, it was the girl's cool voice that interrupted Fica's gaze.

"Ha ha...."

Startled awake by the girl's voice, Fika, regaining his senses, gave an awkward laugh, turned back to gaze at the green silkworm pupa before him, and muttered to himself:

"Recall... Reshape and revert... Reshape time..."

"Five hours..."

The wind was still blowing outside the window.

Inside the window, the red-haired boy's right hand moved slowly, the pointer of the illusory roulette wheel turning, first one mark, then another... finally pointing to the position of five.

With each tick of the scale, his face grew paler, until the final five ticks, when Fica's face was completely bloodless, revealing a sense of utter exhaustion.

"Are you alright...?"

Just then, a familiar, cool voice, tinged with concern, reached Fica's ears.

He subconsciously looked up and saw that the Kuruta girl in front of him had turned half her head back and was quietly looking at him.

"fine....."

Fica's lips twitched slightly, and a faint smile appeared on his pale face:

"I'm really fine, just a little exhausted. I'll be fine after a night's rest."
