Chapter 22 The Celestial Dragons' School Trip
One month later, on a clear morning.
Smoker finished his all-night training session and returned to his dormitory with bloodshot eyes.
Zefa strictly forbids students from smoking, so he went to the toilet to sneak a cigarette, only to find a usually serious and rigid classmate hiding inside, looking at a bikini in a magazine. He felt a little embarrassed after seeing him.
Smoker nodded. "It's okay, I understand."
He closed the door and ran to the bathroom in the next dormitory. He saw that there was another student inside holding a comic book, which seemed to be about the Mink Tribe. When he saw Smoker, he quickly hid behind his back.
Smoker's lips twitched, and he nodded stiffly. "It's okay, I understand."
Then he ran to the third dormitory toilet, but this time he didn't go in.
Because through the reflection in the toilet floor, he saw two classmates, one standing and one kneeling inside.
"Damn it, there's nowhere to even smoke a cigarette!"
Smoker was somewhat on the defensive.
He couldn't do anything after he finished cursing; the people in the elite class were under too much pressure and desperately needed to vent.
Everyone had just finished training all night and had to rest for two hours before heading to the track to run 100 laps with Zefa.
A month later, the arrogance of these elite students had vanished. They only hoped to graduate smoothly and no longer cared about any ranking.
Smoker had some doubts. Could Zephyr also be a robot developed by the Science Unit?
What normal person could train trainees without sleep and still act like nothing happened?
"No, there really is one besides Zephyr."
Smoker looked strangely toward the training field, where loud banging sounds were coming from.
Only a true "monster" could withstand this level of training!
On the training ground.
Zephyr's entire body was covered in jet-black, gleaming Armament Haki as he watched helplessly as the fist came hurtling towards him.
Boom!
The fist exploded violently on his body, engulfing him in flames, but Zefa remained completely still.
call--
The morning sea breeze extinguished the flames on Zephyr's body, leaving his dark Armament Haki completely undamaged.
"Weak forehand, poor backhand, loose footwork, slow reaction time—not a single movement is decent!"
Zephyr commented, then swiftly extended his right hand and easily caught the storm kick that Sith was sending at him.
"Too slow!"
His large, iron-like hands gripped Sith's calf tightly, tossing him aside as casually as if he were throwing away clothes.
boom--
Sith flew out lightly, smashing the training ground wall and leaving a human-shaped mark.
A few seconds later, Sith climbed out of the wall, dusted himself off, and complained softly.
"Wow, Zephyr-sensei, your Armament Haki is way too overpowered!"
Those who can become top-tier powerhouses without consuming the fruit are indeed monsters. Even with the combined effects of [Purgatory Dragon Soul] and [Blunt Strike Power], he still couldn't break through Zefa's defenses.
However, Sith looked down at his own body and nodded in satisfaction.
His body was also covered in Armament Haki, and after being beaten by Zephyr, he only suffered minor damage.
After a month of studying with Zefa, Sith has gained a great deal.
With Zephyr's guidance and the perception of a "professional assassin," he easily awakened Armament Haki over the past month and is now able to easily cover his entire body.
He has finally mastered all six styles, and he has also acquired the Moonwalk, a skill that only high-ranking officers are qualified to learn.
Now, he is not afraid at all, even when facing elite lieutenant generals from headquarters!
However, most people simply cannot withstand Zefa's training methods.
If it weren't for the physical bonus from the [Tank Engine], and the fact that Sith could occasionally hurt Zephyr in battle and recover some health with [Ocean Dragon Soul], he probably would have already received the "bad news from the Navy" and ascended to another planet.
Zephyr sneered:
"You can't even handle this? What if you encounter monsters in the new world and end up crying for your mother?"
Although he was mocking the Sith, Zephyr was actually quite satisfied with this student.
In just one month, Sith mastered a considerable degree of Armament Haki.
It took Zephyr a full six months to reach the same level back then.
Meanwhile, Sith also took the time to learn the Six Styles of the Navy and is now proficient in using them.
In addition, Zephyr was very envious of Sith's special fist technique that could produce explosions and flames. Unfortunately, Sith said it was a family heirloom, otherwise Zephyr would have liked to ask him for the technique.
Sith was already used to Zephyr's taunts, and chuckled:
"Let's forget about finding a mother, but I heard Kaido has a pretty good daughter."
Zefa's expression changed, realizing that his student was truly hungry.
With Kaido's imposing appearance, wouldn't his daughter be enough to scare a ghost to death?
"Enough with the chit-chat, let's continue!"
Zephyr rotated his arms, his fists once again covered in thick Armament Haki, and he couldn't help but smile.
Sith looked at him with a strange expression:
"Hey Zephyr, why are you laughing so happily? Are you using me as a punching bag?"
Zefa coughed twice, his smile widening.
"Don't talk nonsense, that's not true."
Sith angrily complained:
"He was laughing even more exaggeratedly!"
Indeed, there's a key reason why Zephyr likes the Sith so much—
This kid can take a beating!
Zephyr has been feeling very repressed these past few years because, given his strength, there's almost no one in the entire Navy he can confidently beat up.
The few who were involved were either in high positions or busy eating rice crackers and taking care of their grandchildren, and had no desire to fight him.
Beating up students can easily lead to someone's death.
It wasn't until he took Sith as a student that he was finally able to throw his fist without any restraint.
Sith didn't bother to say anything more and swiftly charged at his teacher again.
boom!
The two figures collided violently, like two ferocious beasts.
An hour and a half later.
Zephyr glanced at his watch and nodded to the panting Sith.
"I can rest now. I need to catch my breath. In another half hour, I'll be training those brats again."
Sith lay sprawled on the ground, his naval uniform long since torn to shreds, and could only weakly say:
"Professor Zephyr, why don't you take a break too?"
Zefa still stood ramrod straight, but the constant dripping of sweat showed that he had exerted himself quite a bit.
Zephyr shook his head:
"Teach as much as you little brats as possible before you leave."
Sith saw a hint of guilt flash in his eyes and didn't say anything more.
The death of his family was a pain that would never go away for Zephyr. He thought that if he could train more elites as quickly as possible, the pirates would not be so rampant, and the young marines below would be safer.
Unfortunately, that was not the end of Zephyr's tragedy; Zephyr would experience even more terrible things in the future.
"Perhaps I can change all of this."
Sith thought to himself.

Just then, Zephyr's Den Den Mushi suddenly made a sound. He answered it and found it was Sengoku.
"Warring States period, what's the matter?"
Zephyr tossed a bottle of water to Sith and casually asked.
The Den Den Mushi's eyes transformed into a pair of glasses, and it squinted as it spoke:
"The Five Elders just called me, asking if I have anyone I can recommend to participate in an important mission for the Celestial Dragons."
Zefa frowned. "Spit it out. What's with all the beating around the bush?"
Sengoku looked helplessly at Sith beside him, and Sith immediately understood.
"Marshal of the Warring States, I shall take my leave now."
He guessed that Sengoku was going to say something confidential that he couldn't listen to.
Unexpectedly, Zefa grabbed him and shouted at Sengoku:
"Siss is my direct disciple, a man destined to become a great general. Why should I avoid him!"
Hearing this, Sis felt a warmth in his heart; this old man was truly exceptional in his treatment of his students.
Sengoku sighed softly and could only say:
"Alright, since I was planning to have Uriel Sith participate in this mission anyway, I might as well mention it all at once."
He looked around through the Den Den Mushi's eyes and said in a low voice:
"The Celestial Dragons want a few elite officers to protect their school trip!"
