Konoha: The thirty-year-old Uchiha lacks motivation.

Chapter 30 First of all, I didn't offend anyone.

The mystery surrounding the massacre at the clan's stronghold six years ago remains a dark cloud hanging over Uchiha Gin's head.

He had finally managed to get some useful clues from the suspicious Kaguya clan, but he lost control and killed them.

With his mind preoccupied, he had no heart for work and drew the mark on his left hand from memory.

Staring at the strange symbol in his hand, he racked his brains but couldn't recall where it had appeared in the original work.

Three darts were spinning around a red dot, like the crest of a certain family. I'll have to ask about it next time I meet Uchiha Tajima.

Before he knew it, it was time to leave work. Adhering to the policy of never working overtime, Uchiha Gin walked out of the dungeon right on time.

Seeing the sun gradually setting in the west, Uchiha Gin went to do some shopping first. He entered a relatively large general store and asked the clerk a question.

Do you have black hair dye, the kind that lasts a while?

The shop assistant recognized the man as the legendary Uchiha Gin and shakily took a bottle of black hair dye from the shelf and handed it to him.

Upon receiving the goods, Uchiha Gin reached into his pocket, but after searching for a while, he found nothing, and a slightly embarrassed expression appeared on his face.

"Master Yin, please accept this bottle of hair dye as a free gift."

Sensing that the other person seemed to be short of money, the shop assistant wisely spoke up.

"No, how could I possibly shortchange you on such a small amount of money? Please wait a moment."

After closing his eyes and exploring the system for a while, Uchiha Gin opened his eyes again and pulled out a large, gleaming gold brick from his bag. The moment he took it out, the golden light it emitted almost blinded the shop assistant's titanium alloy eyes.

Swallowing hard, the shop assistant took the large gold brick, which weighed nearly ten pounds, and couldn't help but pinch his own face.

The pain in his cheek told him that this was not a dream. In all his years in the store, he had never seen such a large gold brick.

The BRICS summit was desirable, but its very goodness presented him with a dilemma.

"Master Yin, please forgive our small shop, we really can't make change for such valuable items."

That's right, the value of gold bars is incalculable; ten pounds of gold could almost buy their shop.

Looking at the gold brick that the shop assistant pushed back, Uchiha Gin felt a little embarrassed. He also had principles: he would never take something for free if he shouldn't, and he would never let go of something he could take for free.

Just as he was in a dilemma, a spiky-haired boy pushed open the door and entered, shouting as he did so.

"Boss, do you have any powerful water-fetching and shuriken techniques?"

Before anyone could react, the spiky-haired man saw Uchiha Gin and screamed in surprise.

"You bastard, when did you get back?!"

As he spoke, his eyes were drawn to the gleaming gold brick in his hand.

"Holy crap, you posted it?"

Uchiha Gin stared blankly at the carefree, spiky-haired boy in front of him. This guy didn't have the arrogant demeanor he had in the future.

"You should call me cousin, Ban. You should show some respect to your elders."

"╭(╯^╰)╮, just a defeated opponent."

The spiky-haired boy named Ban snorted with a chuunibyou-like expression.

"If you're obedient, I might cut you a little bit."

Gin Uchiha calmly watched Madara Uchiha, whose nose was pointing to the sky, and gestured with the gold brick in his hand.

"Brother, you're my own brother!"

Madara Uchiha, who was willing to bow down for five pecks of rice, immediately knelt down and prostrated himself.

Even the "Shura of the Ninja World" of later generations had to bow down to my tyranny. Looking at Uchiha Madara who succumbed to money, Uchiha Gin felt a sense of satisfaction.

Worth it!

It's a pity that there are no handheld cameras in this era. If this scene had been captured on camera, there might be 100,000 White Zetsu shooting at his windows with rubber bands every night in the future.

"Get up, whatever you want to buy, your cousin will pay for it."

Uchiha Gin waved his hand, allowing him to start shopping freely.

Upon hearing this, Madara Uchiha's eyes immediately lit up. He packed up all the things his father usually forbade him to buy, and soon filled a large bundle to the brim.

Seeing Madara carrying a bundle bigger than himself, Uchiha Gin, stroking his chin, suddenly had a sense of déjà vu.

On an island thousands of miles away, Mito Uzumaki, who was confined by her father, stared blankly at the bead in her hand that had regained its original color. Suddenly, the girl felt a tickle on her nose.

"Achoo!"

Is someone missing her?

In the end, Uchiha Gin and Madara's spending amounted to only breaking off a corner of the gold brick. Madara, carrying the enormous burden, walked down the street and curiously asked his long-lost cousin,

"Cousin, what kind of business did you do? You made such a big gold brick."

Since Uchiha Madara defeated Uchiha Gin, who was ten years older than him, in front of everyone when he was ten years old.

His cousin began to deliberately avoid meeting him, and even when he saw him at his father's place, he would just give a perfunctory greeting and run away.

"I just did a rather dangerous mission, and I obtained this gold brick by chance during the mission."

"That's great, I also want to go out and do missions."

Upon hearing that Uchiha Gin had actually gone out on a mission, Uchiha Madara, who had never gone on a mission before, said enviously.

Indeed, after that tragedy six years ago, Uchiha Tajima took great care of his two surviving sons.

He was basically inseparable from him, which resulted in Ban never going out on missions and having few friends.

"By the way, I heard you're dating someone?"

Staring at the somewhat dejected Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Gin, trying to change the subject, asked with a teasing smile.

"What? What love? Who told you that?"

Madara Uchiha, who had never been interested in matters of love, looked utterly bewildered.

"I heard from Izuna that you secretly went on a date with someone by the river."

Without any burden, he decisively sold his good younger brother.

"Uh, I'm off! That damn Izuna, I'm going to deal with him right now."

Madara Uchiha, furious at being betrayed by his own brother, said a few words of farewell and headed straight home.

Tsk tsk tsk, Izuna probably kicked a hornet's nest today.

Holding hair dye in his hand and carrying a chipped gold brick in his pocket, Uchiha Gin slowly walked towards his secluded hut.

The moment he pushed open the door, Uchiha Gin felt something hard pressing against his waist.

Startled, he looked down and met Senju Itama's bewildered gaze. The other man was holding a small kitchen knife, apparently because he didn't have any weapons at home and had gone to the kitchen to look for them.

I patted his little head and handed him the hair dye.

"Good alertness, but don't use a kitchen knife next time, it looks ridiculous."

Senju Itama blushed when she was told that.

Seeing that the other person was already wearing his childhood clothes, Uchiha Gin looked him up and down.

"Not bad, you're about one-tenth as good-looking as I was when I was a child."

Senju Itama's face turned from red to black upon hearing this.

Having read the instructions, Uchiha Gin knew that the hair dye needed to be washed before use, so he immediately arranged for Senju Itama to take a shower first.

Upon hearing that a bath was available, Senju Itama was initially delighted, but then he was startled to see Uchiha Gin also starting to undress.

"What are you trying to do?!"

When asked, Uchiha Gin looked completely bewildered.

"What else can I do? Take a shower. I haven't showered since I got back, so I might as well take one now and save myself the trouble."

Uchiha Gin said nonchalantly as he took off his clothes.

"Bang!" Senju Itama slammed his hand on the door and ran outside. Once outside, he spoke...

"Go wash up first, I'll boil some water for you."

The Uchiha Gin family's bathroom is an old-fashioned Japanese-style tub bath. The tub is placed over a fire and slowly heated until the water temperature is just right before entering. Someone has to keep an eye on the fire to prevent it from getting too hot or too cold and affecting the bathing experience.

"What a strange kid, he's even a little shy."

Shaking his head, Uchiha Gin didn't care. At his age, he was more than capable of being Senju Itama's father.

It was common for people to get married and have children at the age of thirteen or fourteen during the Warring States period. What's strange is that he's twenty-four and still has no offspring.

I took off my clothes and went into the bathroom. The tub was open to the outside, and the water inside was bubbling and gurgling, so it seemed to be quite hot.

Peeking out the window, I saw Senju Itama, his little face puffed out, diligently tending a fire outside, throwing handfuls of firewood inside while shouting under his breath.

"Burn it! Burn it! Burn this pervert to death!"

"???"

First of all, I did not offend anyone.
